It was supposed to be a simple trip into town to pick up a rare collection of reads. But it didn't turn out that way for Victoria Matheson. Owner of the "Sip & Read Cafe" in Carriage Cove Oregon. During her journey she has a run in with one of her ex-employee, Lilli Graves. Lilli has suffered a fatal stab wound and upon her collision with Victoria she collapses to the ground in a heap.

A visit to the nearby town ends in an arrest - Hers!
A good read. A plot about ambition and murder. A callous killer who thinks they are more worthy then others.
Picking up the rare book might not have been the best idea she ever had. Now one of her employees was dead and she was being questioned in a police station. However luck was with her as she was sprung by the Police Chief of her own little town. Throw in a list of names, a missing book that is extremely valuable, a nervous group of TA's, her daughter going in undercover and a trap to catch the killer after another death. Will it work?
