This was a first time read for by Calinda B and it was scorching and written perfectly.
Jace is a sexy bad boy who lives by his own set of rules and avoids anything serious cause his trust issues. Zoe also has severe trust issues stemming from her past but, something that she thinks only Jace can give her at the moment.
For someone as closed off emotionally as Jace was he was so tender and patient with Zoe that at times I couldn't believe it was the same guy. Zoe needed a lot of nurturing and he was more than happy to do anything to make her feel secure.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I loved bad boy Jace and his sexy motorcycle, oh my goodness his wicked ways is enough to make any hotblooded female fan themselves!
If you are looking for a scorching erotic romance story with a suspenseful twist to read during the summer, then Looks Like Trouble To Me is a must read!

This is a sizzling read and I enjoyed the story and the characters. Jace and Zoe were meant to be together and seemed like two halves that made a whole. Jace is a bad boy, but has a sweet side to him and a heart as big as the sky. Zoe is a good girl, but has a wild streak that Jace can bring out. I disliked the character of Billy and some of the sleazy girls in the story, but I would give credit to Calinda B for writing them so well that you do dislike them. The sparks between Zoe and Jace were terrific and finally led to full blown fireworks. It was exciting to see how both Zoe and Jace brought out the non-dominant sides of each other. I am also looking forward to the next in the series. Not an ordinary romance novel, it definitely has a hard edge, but worth the read.

Zoe is so distrustful of men, but Jace has this way of convincing her of anything just with a little talk.
These two each have a bad past, but will they be able to overcome all that bad together....Will their love be enough to wipe it all away?
What will happen now that they are living together, Jace is adopting his twins daughter Marni, things are really looking good for them until that knock at the door. Zoe opens the door to Marni's grandfather, will their dreams come true, or will they be shot?
I am really looking forward to reading more of Jace and Zoe's story.

Jace and Zoe will take you on a wild SAVAGE ride in this one! Twist and turns, hot sex scenes that will get your blood pumping, secrets and trouble! Hot alpha males, who doesn't love those? Very well written with great characters who pull you in to their world. This series is going to be hot! Great read and I recommend it! -Chell

Jace falls for a pretty waitress at quite possibly the worst time in his life. With just one look, Jace Savage is hooked on Zoe Dubois. Their relationship moves forward at warp speed, but his past seems intent on making sure that they don't get their HEA.
Zoe's been hurt by men who claimed to love her. Jace says all the right words, except when she gets curious about his past. They go back and forth, and around and around as she decides whether his past is the ultimate deal breaker.
The action and suspense were good, but I felt that Zoe was too whiny. It was clear that Jace was keeping his nose clean, yet she kept running off at the slightest hint of trouble. While I would love to see that justice is served, and that Jace's past no longer haunts him, I am hesitant to read book 2.

First book by this author for me. The story started off a bit slow, and I wasn't initially sure that I'd like it, but after the first few chapters, I started to get drawn into the story. Zoe and Jace have an instant, red-hot chemistry. After a few relationships gone sour, Zoe isn't sure that a relationship with another bad boy is such a good idea. Jace has seen his share of trouble, but he has an extremely good heart and we see that in his relationship with his niece and how he feels for Zoe. Jace and Zoe face some challenges as secrets are revealed along with some unexpected twists. The story does end in a HEA but there's still a bit of a cliffhanger at the end that will make you anxious to move on to Book II

Jace Savage has had a hard life and now his twin sister has taken off, leaving him to raise his niece. He has no idea what he's doing but he's trying. While out with friends, he meets Zoe, a waitress at a bar. he is instantly attracted to her. She thinks he's handsome but hates the guy he hangs out with so she assumes Jace is the same. Jace is a good guy, he tries hard. This book was too wordy with Zoe whining about Jace not talking to her and opening up and Jace not talking to her. I had a hard time believing their love for each other after a one night stand and then just sex. Despite this, I enjoyed the storyline.

Zoe seems to always attract the losers, and when Jace enters her life, she finds herself fighting the chemistry since he gives off the bad boy vibe.
Jace has a past he's not proud of, but wants to be a better man, especially for Zoe. When family drama makes it so Jace starts keeping secrets from Zoe, it sends up a giant red flag.
This story has good twists, and although it has a minor cliffhanger, it's not bad enough to make you want to throw the book.

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. This book left me a little puzzled at times. I was just not sure what Jace and Zoe where going to do. There were a couple of times that made me think that they would never get over their issue and make to the sweet spot. I just wanted to smack them behind the head and tells them "Come on now!" Overall it was a good read. If you want to know what happens between Jace and Zoe you will have to get your own copy.

I love that Jace never gives up on Zoe no matter what, he knows what he wants and he is going after it.

What an emotional roller coaster and no shortage of action. Drug rings, false charges, missing people, addiction, emotional scars, betrayal, secrets, revenge.etc. It's the story of bad boy Jace and Zoe. Their attraction was strong and the sex was off the charts. Their relationship wore me out. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is a faced paced story with a lot of heat. Jace has a troubled but misunderstood past. Zoe doesn't really trust men, but when they meet you can feel the heat!! Lots of steamy sex!! A good story with family issues, secrets betrayal and love.

A great romance where the two characters don't seem to connect well at first, but find out they have a great deal in common and can help each other progress! I liked the setting and the character progression. Another good story by this author. Something that I would recommend for winding down at the end of the day.

Looks like Trouble to Me is about Jace Savage turning a new lead after being dumped by the love of his life and trying to raise his niece, who was abandoned by his sister. He didn't need any more complications.
Zoe Dubios doesn't need another heartache. She was cheated by one of her ex and abused by another. She doesn't have a good track record of finding the right guy and hooking up with another bad boy is the last thing that she is looking for.
Jace and Zoe's relationship gets more complicated when Jace's former best friend/Zoe's ex decided to claim Zoe and decided that he was going to make Jace's life more difficult. It doesn't help when Jace is withholding his problems from Zoe.
The only thing that might get Jace and Zoe out of this trouble is that both would have to trust each other to ride out the storms of trouble coming at them.

He has a savage past which effects him now. She is sweet and looking for love. This is one of those you can't go into or you leave spoilers and one needed to read to understand and get the story right. It is a great story. Exciting, emotional, hot, and so much more. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Well, I did like the story, I had read the first edition and liked that one as well. It was some time ago and I had not remembered all of it. It is different and I really like Jace a lot I think he is lovely and caring. However I have not taken to Zoe at all. I wont say more than that because that is just my own personal opinion.

I liked how they didn't just fall for each other right away- not for these characters anyway. The characters progressed at an even keel and the baggage that they had added angst to the story. There was almost too much back and forth, but I gave the book three stars for being very well written and the character development.

Good fast paced read with a lot of trust issues. It was frustrating at times and so wanted to yell "wake up people you're meant to be together!" lol. Sign of a great author is to make you feel a part of the story which Calinda B definitely does.

This writing was amazing. From start to finish, couldn't put it down. How and Jace were perfect, but she should have gotten pregnant with all the sex they were having. Looking forward to the next book.

Ok this is going to be hard with out spoiler. Here goes.... this is a rocky road they are traveling. And sometimes it may be off the rails. It's fun to see everyone grow up. If you like romance this is the book for you. I know that you will like it too. I was given a free book for a honest review.

A fast paced story with lots of ups and downs. They two main characters Jace and Zoe have hot chemistry that keeps going, but sometimes I wanted to smack them.

This is a wonderful read, both the characters have scars from their past yet their chemistry is undeniable and find themselves falling in love, their journey to their HEA keeps you stuck to your Kindle from beginning to end.
