Accidentals #3

Bearly Accidental

Rate this book
At the request of their friend Antonia (Accidentally Ever After), Wanda, Marty and Nina find themselves trekking up a snowy mountainside, in search of Toni’s brother. Wanted by the mob, Cormac Vitali is hiding out in the Colorado Wilderness, where the ladies from OOPS finally catch up to him…freshly tranq’d by a bounty hunter.

Bear shifter Teddy Gribanov realized Cormac was her life mate about five minutes after shooting his big muscly bod with her trusty dart gun. She’d be shocked by that revelation, if she wasn’t too busy getting stabbed, shot, and hunted down by a crooked cop and the Russian mob. Oh, and her psycho ex, freshly sprung from the pokey, and hell bent on making Teddy pay for putting him there.

Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it—and when it’s least convenient. Join Wanda, Marty and Nina, manservant Archibald, sweet zombie Carl, and demon Darnell as they hatch a plan to bring down everyone standing in the way of Teddy and Cormac’s accidental happily ever after.

I so love Marty, Wanda and Nina lol I always jump in, got stuck and forget that I have to go to work the next day cause I can't put away the Accidentally Paranormal series books, so I'm always late at work when I read one of those books. I have all books Ms. Cassidy has written so far but the Accidentally Paranormal series is my most belove get away series ever cause I forget the world around myself when I start reading one of those books. They are all 5 star books, keepers and re-read worthy. This books starts where Accidentally ever After ended lol Toni is still stuck in Shamalot, her brother still on the run but settled in Colorado now where he is lurking around and spies on the threesome awesome OOPS team. Means Marty is running her mouth and annoys Nina but Marty is annoyed that Nina is enjoying eating again since she became human again in Accidentally Ever After after ding ding she snuffed out the 'witch aka b.i.t.c.h' and sacrified her immortal live for Toni. Ok she is eating through this story like she will never eat again lol but she is selfless and sacrifies again at the end. Back to the story I write a review about lol.
Met Cormac Vitali and Theodora 'Teddy' Gribanov both bear shifters, she born this way, he turned by one of the mobsters you will meet in this books who are surprise surprise (read your self lol)
Teddy is a bounty hunter on a side job but really she is working to rescue animals. She needs the money for her animal rescue center 'Sanctuary' so she accepted the job to hunt down Cormac. After she tranqued him she finds out he is more then a bounty, more then a 'supposed' criminal. There are lies between them and Teddy got lied about Cormac being a criminal. There are so much surprises and twists in this books that it feels climatic when it comes to the showdown in New York lol and Nina to the rescue again lol I wept when I read the part with the hospital but I will not spill the beans all I have to say awesome story, awesome friendship between Marty, Wanda and Nina even with all the bickering but this adds to the story and makes them like it is you and your friends lol so realistic

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4
Another very fun adventure with the ladies of OOPS. This time around the are on a bear hunt and end up with a few grumpy bears on there hands. And of course a few bad guys that are determined to end them all. But like all Accidental stories Nina, Wanda and Marty figure out a way to save the day with grand fanfare and hopefully minimal injuries.
Well..... minimal might not be true in this one. Shot... I almost gave you too much.....
I have really enjoyed this series and can not wait to see what is next for the ladies of OOPS and the crew they call family.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Wow what a ride this was a fantastic read. The oops gang is back and we meet Teddy , bear shifter and bounty hunter she's on a mission bring in the bad guy get paid and save Sanctuary. After tranqualizing the target she realizes he's her life mate .Cormac is a turned shifter on the run from Russian mobsters who has no clue about shifters other than what he's read in romance novels but he did feel a connection to Teddy now they just have to survive the mob as well as Teddys psycho ex who just got out of jail as they work towards a happily ever after. Filled with action ,danger, loads of paranormal and tons of humor and snark I highly recommend this and all of the authors other works. You won't be able to put this book down. Its off the charts awesome so go snag a copy and dive in.

Wanda, Marty and Nina are back and nuttier than ever. This time they are taking on Bears and the Russian mob. As Nina would say easy peasy but this time it is going to take a bunch of their friends to bail accidental bear shifter Cormac Vitali and born bear shifter Teddy Gribanov out of a mess with the mob and some dirty cops. This is a really sweet and wacky tale.
This can be read standalone but you will probably enjoy it more if you’ve read Accidentally Ever After.

Throughly enjoyed this book! I’ve always loved Dakota Cassidy’s Accidentally Paranormal and it’s a breath of fresh air especially after reading something “heavy”. These books are hilarious, thrilling, and heartwarming.

I think I'm done with this series. It's starting to get to repetitive. Pretty much the same story each book. I could probably deal with that if they didn't have to keep re-explaining Nina to everyone every book. Getting a little tired of that stick.

Thrilling

This book had crazy mad plot twists. Engaging characters and laughs galore. I love Dakota Cassidy' writing style and her ability to intertwine characters from other 'accidental' stories.

This one was fun. There wasn't this huge, "who's the real bad guy" question in this one since we knew going in who that was, so it felt that the rest of the storyline really had time to shine.

A great addition to the series

We first heard of Cognac in his sister's book Accidentally ever after where we learned he was on the run from the Russian mafia. Teddy (Theadora) is a bounty Hunter who has accepted the commission on Cognac believing him.to be a wanted criminal. Then of course there are the OOPS ladies, Wanda, Marty and Nina who promised Cormacs sister they would find him.and help.him what they didn't know. Was that while escaping from the.nova clutches Cognac had been bitten and is now a bear shifter. Teddy, she is also a bear shifter although she was born that way. It's another case for the OOPS ladies when love and friendship is just as important as justice. Oh and the OOPS ladies have the added worry of still coming to terms with Nina being human again and as such very vulnerable to injury.

I have really enjoyed every book I've read in the Accidental series so far and this holds true for this newest addition as well! These characters are so easy to fall in love with, the storyline is engaging and never fails to leave me wanting more and some of the situations this group ends up in leave me baffled in a great way and I can't get enough! I highly recommend reading this book and this entire series to anyone and you'll want to start at the beginning and read them all since they're addictive. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This one was a low three for me. While I know these are formulaic, they're getting to be too repetitive. Haven't they OOPS ladies already happened to meet a woman hiding from her violent criminal ex? A woman who hid it because hey it took her a day or two to trust and fall in love enough to want to share such details?

At least the author has a character tell us she knows it's the same old same old. There's ways to make it fresh. Starting to lose interest though it's still true to the series. There's no surpise left.
