Santana, Dominique, and Kajuana have been friends since elementary school. Now as grown women with successful careers it seems that they all are praying for success in their relationships.
Santana is a 27 year old CEO of a thriving publishing company. Everything that she has accomplished in her career she attributes it all to her love for God, hard work, and dedication. She has her best friends that have been with her through thick and thin and are always there for her. All that’s missing is someone to spend her life with. When she meets the handsome Cortez Harper, she feels like he may very well be the one but only if he can prove to her that he wants her for who she is and not for how many zeros she has in her bank account. Dominique’s walk has not been a very straight one with several detours that have caused her to feel loss along the way. But as she continues to cleans up her life and walk boldly in Christ, she meets Najir, the nephew of one of her clients who makes her stop and want to continue down the path with him. Is Najir willing to walk in faith with her or will her past cause him to leave her on new found journey to finding the love of the kingdom?
Kajuana is the one who is happily married out of the trio, at least that’s what they all thought. Her husband Michael is starting to exhibit signs of stepping out on their marriage and returning to his drug use. Kajuana has helped Michael before to conquer the drugs but can she do it again? Kajuana promised to love Michael through good times and in bad. But, it seems to Kajuana and Michael that the bad times are outweighing the good and the vows they took are beginning to break.
For these ladies dealing with different situations they all ask themselves the same question, 'Why Won’t He Love Me?
I've never read a book that made me cry, then turn around and make me laugh a few seconds later. These 3 friends were God given in every sense of the word. They were there for each other in good times and bad. That's the sign of a true friendship. Dominique was my favorite character in the book. She could go from Christian to hold in the blink of an eye. Granny was also feisty, and she didn't bite her tongue. Thank you for sharing this story with your readers Denora. When it comes to writing, you have the Midas touch.
This was a really good love/romance book. It's nice to take a break from the street lit books. I'm glad that the outcome was good. It's a message in this book too, never assume or hide something from the person you love. And it's a standalone so that's a big plus.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Three ladies United in friendship and the Love of God,but had to endure painful life lessons to gain the Love of Man! Many lessons....thank you Denora.
This was a great story.. I enjoyed seein how the girls trusted in God and how started things started to fall into place for them.. I knew there was somethin goin on w/ Andre for him to treat Dominique that way.. Glad he got wat he deserved.. Great job
This book was everything and more. I'm happy that Dominque found peace. As well for Santana and Kay. This has open my heart and help me to let go of some things. Thank you for this story.
Kajuana, Santana, and Dominique have been friends since elementary school. The ladies were more than friends, they are sisters. The three ladies all have issues when it comes to the men in their life. We must stop looking and let God send us the person he has for us. Good read.
God's love is unconditional and when you're in right standing with Him never will you have to question If you're loved or not. Three friends Kajuana, Santana, and Dominique battle with their relationship with their spouse and boyfriends and wondering if they love them, but with God all things are possible. Read and see just how God proves himself to those that love Him in Why Won't He Love Me. I loved it!
Great inspirational story! These 3 ladies gained a lot by trusting & believing in God's word! Although all 3 had pressing issues, Dominique's growth in her spirituality helped her to accept her past as she prepared for her future. Storyline held my attention as scriptures were mentioned as it related to the characters plight. Very enjoyable story
Yes I cried ....them church women reminded me of my Grandmother. Yes I had a praying, preach, ministering Grandmother that raised not only her children but six grandchildren and one grant grandbaby. This read touched me in many ways. Definitely need to sedfast, patient and listen and talk more first to the Lord. These ladies journey spook volume
