This story, although full of drama, is of a lighter tone for @allisonhobbsbestsellingauthor. I definitely recommend this 💎💎💎💎💎read.

WOW! The characters were over the top and shocking but the story was so entertaining I could not put it down. Even the side story of the Grandmother's life as a madam had me gasping. I had not heard of Allison Hobbs before, but I must see what else she has out there. It reminded me of Mary Monroe books but with a more serious slant. I would love to see it made into a movie.

I guess the plot was supposed to remind readers of Iron Chef. This attempt left a lot to be desired. On paper, Cori and Maverick were living the dream. In reality, their marriage was a sham. They were vegetarian soul food connoseuiers. Infidelity was the key to their downfall.

This was a really good book. I actually read it in two days because I didn’t want to put it down. This book is basically about how the people at the top make it seem like their life is perfect but behind closed doors they are regular people with serious issues.
