Clear and concise. Definitely recommended reading. Many Christians mistakenly assume that the Doctrine of the Trinity is based upon scant Biblical data. Bickersteth shows that nothing could be farther from the truth. The book could fairly be said to be nothing more than a commentary on hundreds of relevant Biblical passages. There are very helpful charts and tables with Scriptures arranged side by side to demonstrate how pervasive throughout Scripture the Doctrine of the Trinity really is. If someone says they'd like to learn more about the Trinity, but are scared by massive technical tomes, recommend this book!
Comprehensible by both the theologian and the layman. Scripturally immense and sound, yet spiritually moving and profound. The Gospel presentation at the latter part is beautifully laid out.
A wonderful and deeply researched volume that will enrich anyone who takes the time to read it. Though initially written to refute the error of Unitarianism it is a profoundly beneficial book for any pastor or seasoned Christian. I fear it would be a bit too much for the new Christian, but it is a must read for all but the newest Christian.
This was one of the first books I read on the subject. Supper basic. very accessible. Kind and courteous. Nothing earth-shattering, but still helpful for a elemental intro.
