"He's the reason you can stand before one hundred people with confidence to say that life has thrown me some massive curveballs, but I survived every one by rising above them."
It's no secret that I'm a fan of romance novels. But, the trick is that they can't be the overly sappy, make me sick to my stomach storylines. They must have some sort of attachment to real life with characters that are relatable. Summer and Aiden have a love story where they both need to let go of some things from their past and then allow each other to be the emotional support they need to move forward and this isn't too different from real life.
The author put together a romance story that has a perfect amount of growth within the characters, drama, and love. A mark of a great book is when there are moments that you have to stop and reflect on the journey your own life has taken and Waiting For Summer made me do just that. Kudos to Ms. Green for giving us another winner!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Summer and Aiden's love story. Although I thought both Autumn and Winter's stories were excellent, Summer's story topped both of those. The storyline was so powerful and both Aiden and Summer had tough issues that they had to face and overcome in order for true love to seal them together forever! It was so moving how they were the best of friends since kindergarten until they went to college where the unthinkable happened, however nothing and no one can stop true love!! Talking about true love standing the "test of time," there's certainly did. Awesome love scenes and a tear jerker ending! I can hardly wait to see what's going to happen to Danni and Jaleen...happy reading!

This is my first read of Ms. Green’s work and I like the flow of her writing. I enjoyed getting a peek into the lives of Aiden and Summer and learning they’ve been friends a long time. So much time has passed between them and to know what Summer had been through and hadn’t told anyone, seemed to have made her stronger. Now Aiden is in town and they have been fighting their feelings for each other for years. I’m not giving away any spoilers, so you must read the book for yourself. Good job Ms. Sherelle Green!

Sherelle has done it again! Watching her female characters fight their feeling for the best thing that has ever happened to them is always a treat! Especially when said thing is a sexy man with nothing love and good lovin for them! Watching Summer fall in love was awesome. Can't wait to see want Ms. Green has in store for the rest of the ladies is Bare sophistication Miami especially Danni!

A must read.
I have enjoyed reading this book and the other books in the Bare Sophistication series. Sherelle Greene plots are easy to follow. I love her characters and how they show love for each other. I recommend the series to all who loves good love stories. Will continue to read other books by her.

The love between Summer Dupree and Aiden Chase was definitely worth waiting for. They were childhood friends who always had each other's back. They never acknowledged the growing passion between them, but after twenty five years, it's time to take it to the next level.

Summer is about to start a successful entrepreneurship but she can't help but think of Aiden and she also has issues in the past she needs to confront. I love how the author showed that past issues can stop a person from progressing.

This is the 1st I read by Sherelle Green. I loved this book's story line. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Summer's character. My heart broke for Summer. I loved Summer's strength in this story. I loved Aiden's character. I loved how Aiden protected Summer. I loved the ending it brought tears to my eyes. Awesome job Ms. Green.

Hmmm
I usually like Miss Green's books. This, however started off way too slow and didn't pick up until the end. A great story, but too much fluff talk distracted from the storyline.
