This is a short book about the original carrier air strike by the Royal Navy on the German Navy's airship base at Cuxhaven (actually, Nordholz). The air strike was a complete failure tactically, but the author shows how the RN achieved a complete moral victory, and then concludes with a look at later developments in the Royal Navy up to the Second World War. The author does a fine job of presenting the story, he addresses a number of myths that have grown up around the Raid, and then assesses the results of the Raid. For 144 pages of easy reading, this is pretty impressive.
