Frank Kelso grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, the origin of the Santa Fe Trail. Historic sites, monuments, and statues abound highlighting the journey west, including the Wagons West, Pioneer Women and the Indian Scout located on the bluffs overlooking the wide Missouri. This is an enjoyable story about a good Samaritan. He is passing by and hears someone calling for help and that's just what he does. He becomes attached to this family and it causes him to have to make some difficult choices. I would recommend this story to anyone over 15.
