#1 up-and-coming Author in Fantasy Romance!

Ruth Anne Scott was born and raised in the Shire of Middle America (otherwise known as Telluride, CO) and spend her childhood hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the wilderness around. As a young dreamer and creator her favorite pastime was and still is to sit on the moss covered banks of San Miguel river to write and create her fantasy worlds.

As a postgraduate she spent much of her adult life working at Amnesty International, doing research into women's rights abuses around the world. Ruth continued to write fantasy as a means to escape the harsh realities of the world around her.

This is the reason Ruth likes to incorporate strong and savvy women in her fantasy works.

The boring part: Now a full time author and artist, Ruth can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and can be found at the local coffee shops. :)

Interesting but

I love alien romances but this one was difficult to enjoy. There is repetition of information that made me impatient. The heroine isnt likable. The world building sounds complex but seemed far fetched to me--particularly the factions of intelligent species on one planet that are compatible with humans.

This is an interesting book. The main character is very stubborn and makes some stupid mistakes because of it. This is a story of how she ends up coming to terms with what has happened and what she wants to do about it.

CRASHED ON ALIEN PLANET by Ruth Anne Scott

Chris Sabastiani wakes up from a deep sleep to find she has crashed landed on an alien planet, along with fifty other woman. Not knowing she had even been abducted, it's a massive shock. When they are saved by strange and mysterious creatures, Chris is very defensive towards them and isn't so sure that they are as friendly as they appear.

When the woman are taken in by the Lycaon faction, Chris finds out there are other human woman living amongst them. But she is not as accepting of her fate as most of the other woman appear to be. Even with a Lycaon male who has peaked her interest, she decides it isn't the place for her and takes off. What she doesn't realise is that the male has taken more than an interest in her as well, and follows her. With his help, will she find what she is looking for? Will she miss her chance for a new and happy life on Angondra with a mate of her own or will she keep looking for something that is totally impossible and never find her HEA!

This was a really interesting book. I loved the idea of the different factions on the planet and the descriptive characteristics between each one. I really liked the characters but would have liked them to be more defined. Although I loved the concept of this story, it felt underdeveloped and could have been stronger. I also would have loved a closer look into their relationship. The concept of this story is quiet unique and could have been a awesome series, it has so much potential. Enjoyable read!

Great story

Loved this book .don't find many books with females who are tough and strong willed and can still have a happily ever after at the end. Still want to know about the water guys and what they are up to. Maybe that can be book number 3.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. I liked this book a lot more than the first in the saga. In this installment it is Turk's turn to find a mate among the Earth women that crashed on his planet. Follow Turk and Chris on their journey and you won't be disappointed.

Wish I could have loved it but, for me, not so much. I really didn't feel any emotion from any of the characters and that's a shame.

Five percent is the actual book.

This is a good story but the rest are just teasers. The story was only contained in the first five percent of the book.

Dnfd so fast. Stilted writing and sad dialogue. The main character was unendearing and silly/dumb.

This one was as good as the first. However, I felt Chris was a little ridiculous to the aliens she could have tried to give them a chance. I really enjoyed this series.

There are more about the factions which really fascinates me. There are political situations coming to boil. The main human female character Chris: Because of her stubbornness and dare I say prejudices she is sometimes irritating, but she grows and learns to appreciate what really matters in a good happy life.
