It is said, "Everything in the dark comes to light..." Well, all of the skeletons are about to fall out of the closet. But, whose closet will it come from first? Because everyone has something to hide.

Baby Doll abruptly left Dip's party after her argument with Al, making him look foolish in front of his family and friends. Dip was pissed and decided to confront her the next day, but his approach to the situation sets off a chain of events that will have lasting effects on everyone.

An old demon resurfaces in Dip's life as a means to cope with Bay Doll running off to New York, as Alan is left to babysit a very dysfunctional Dip. Dottie feels its time to expose Baby Doll's secret because Al needs to know the truth. So, she and Emily drag Al off to New York to show him the daughter that he didn't know he had. And, when he sees Allie for the first time in church, his world is completely rocked when she calls Baby Doll, mama. It's a thin line between love and hate. And, the rage that ignites within Al could jeopardize his feelings for the love of his life.

Jeffery, Baby Doll's father calls and warns his godson, Cleopus (Dip), that he is displeased with his actions towards his daughter. Dip reassures him that his intentions are good as he professes his love for Baby Doll. But his drug habit is causing problems with his rational thinking. He feels that Al needs to disappear in order for him and Baby Doll to be happy. However, it is difficult for him to make rational decisions, and Baby Doll is growing more and more impatient with his bizarre behavior. However, a turn of events will change the tide, giving Dip the upper hand towards his happiness. Will Baby Doll be able to cope with everything weighing down on her shoulders? Or, will she decide that another fate is best?

I love A Westside Love Story 2!!!!! It's a pager turner!!! Dip and he's family is crazy with some serious issues! The ending had me in tears!!! I hope Al can get through to Baby Doll, they are made for each other. A great read and I can't wait for part 3.

Lawd!!

First off, the soundtrack to this book is off the chain! Yes, I know it didn't come with an actual soundtrack, but it should have. Second: I used to like Dip, or at least hoped that Baby Doll would eventually get her life, but alas, a book by Vivian Blue doesn't end that way! Somebody please get Baby Doll off the ledge!

Side note: that Paulette though? Still shaking my head...as always, waiting on the next installment!

Banger!!!

OMG!!!!! The third book can't come out fast enough for me! I had a feeling about Alan which was correct. I'm hoping Cleo is the one to cause havoc for her dad but Baby Dolls state of mind right now has me torn.

Awesome

I recommend both parts 1 and 2 without a break. I read reviews and thought the same experience was ruined. I was so wrong.

Great Story

I am loving this story. These characters have a lot going on. I appreciate the fact that each part wasn't short. It was so funny when Dip first got high. He was doing the most with that Luther song. Plus him just acting a fool when he got high. I could picture it as I was reading. I'm still laughing about it. But aside from the humor, it was full of drama and action. Baby Doll must have gold down there because Dip and Al were going crazy over her. Poor Allie is such a sweetie but her mother needs to be the mother and let her be the child. You can feel the love she has for Baby Doll though. I hope part 3 is out now because we were literally left with a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens. It's a good read and I highly recommend it.
