Book 1
When Laurel is asked to come home to welcome her stepbrother back home she doesn't want to go. Laurel and Harrison never got along at all. Laurel having had enough leaves the party and goes out with her friend, just when she thinks she meets a nice guy he tries to force his way on her but Harrison saves her. When they arrive home Harrison tells Laurel something she never will forget.

Book 2
With Laurel & Harrison finally being together what could go wrong, but then the police are at their door because of Harrison attacking Steve. With Laurel scared Harrison tells her not to say anything, but Laurel can't just stay home and do nothing. She goes to the police station and gives her statement and Harrison isn't pleased. Finally home Harrison tells and tell her bring with her was a mistake. Crushed Laurel doesn't know what to do, she can't get over what he said. Avoiding each other until Harrison comes apologize and asking her out for dinner, she accepts but trouble follows and Harrison is back to making the mistake to push Laurel away again. She's had enough and at their parents anniversary party meets someone and Harrison doesn't like they at all. Tried of the ups and downs Harrison tries to explain what happened and that he needs her to be a better man. Ending was good, I like Laurel & Harrison together

This is a good book for stepbrother romances, military romances fans and fans of NA.

The plot consists on two stepsiblings who haven't seen each other in years and are about to reunite because of a family party. During the years apart both of the main characters had time to mature and change their ways so when they meet again, they don't know how to act around each other. But one thing is for sure, their attraction towards each other is still there and neither of them knows what to do about it. There are a lot of funny encounters and situations between them two that just brings them together and at one point they just can't fight their attractions anymore. But their sex escapade might put a lot at stake and they are both scared about what their 'relationship' might bring them once someone finds out , so they fight their feelings all the way to end. What they don't know is that there really isn't a problem at all, they were just fighting the inevitable.


The story was cute, sexy and sometimes funny. The right combination.
It was funny getting to know both Laurel and Harrison, specially getting to know them together. I do feel like things happened a little to fast by the end of the book but you know, unexpected things happens all the time in the real world to.
Also, there is a side story about Laurel's bestfriend and I wish there would have been a little more plot around her after she had the baby, I'm sad Chris didn't 'physically' appear in the book , I would have loved to seem reunite with his wife and meeting his baby. I'm slightly dissapointd about that.
But the book was pretty enjoyable and an easy read, I think anyone would enjoy it and all the true stepbrother romance's fans would for sure like it.

I would rate this at about 3.5 stars. The first half is better than the second half. I liked the characters Laurel and Harrison and enjoyed the way that things happened and they got together in the first part. The second part was a little frustrating for me because of the roller coaster ride that Harrison put them on. They get their happy ending and things work out, it was just a little hard to believe with how easy everything went because of the back and forth that Harrison did. There wasn't any event that made him figure out why he was going to stay and we didn't get a whole bunch of what gave him that realization so for me it was harder to believe that something wouldn't come around again and he would go back to his old ways. We get a snapshot a couple weeks later and everything is fine and they have their HEA it just was harder for me. I still enjoyed the characters and the way that the story flowed. The sex is explicit. The story has enough going on to keep your attention.

I liked this story. my problem with it was that the parts that needed more there wasn't more and what needed less there was more. there was way too much insight into laurels head. I found myself skimming over pages just because I really didn't think laurels thoughts were believable in certain situations. example...there was at least 3 pages of laurals inappropriate thoughts of harrisons hands on her body when the cops were downstairs talking to harrison. that's not realistic. I was impatient enough to skim through her jibberish because I wanted to find out what the cops wanted. too much of that. the story itself was okay. not enough from harrison. I think I would have enjoyed this so much more if there were a couple of chapters of harrisons pov!!! it would have explained more of his douchebag actions.

Although I received this in two parts, I felt the need to review on this full book.
Harrison and Laurel are step siblings with a hate hate relationship. Or so it seems. Harrison has always made Laurels life hell and she never knew why. The when he comes back home from on tour, has he changed...... Maybe.

Lots of emotions in this story dealing with a physical attack, shared feelings, a baby surprise for Maggie, Police drama, and so much more and all the while Harrison and Laurel trying to cope with it all.
A fantastic read.

I was lucky to read these, This is the story of Laurel and Harrison who go from enemies to lovers, they are step siblings who have hated each other for years or that was how it appeared. They both have a secret that they have wanted each other but couldn't do anything about it and was scared, now back from his first tour back from Afghanistan their parents celebrated Harrison's return. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed read Lucy Snow story. it was hot.. some great twist and lots of adventure. Who would not want to read a story about a sassy funny Heroin. I know I do.. especially if you though in a bad boy stepbrother.. excellent story. I was given this story for a honest review.

Not feeling it! Harrison never really developed for me. Laurel was whiny with her random thoughts. I was not a fan of this one.
