Prudence is just an ordinary teenager, with her fair share of boy drama. After being let down for the last time by her current boyfriend on Valentine's Day, she encounters a chance meeting with the vampire Bastian Cane, who asks to be her valentine.
Not knowing Bastian's true identity or his surrounding circumstances, Pru continues her life in a state of reflection and never-ending nightmares. It seems ridiculous that their paths should ever cross again. Unless of course Bastian has decide that Pru is his one true love...
I read all 4 parts before reviewing and I'm going to treat this as 1 book. It's really 1 story in 4 parts as seems to be the style these days. I was greatly disappointed as I was expecting much more. The story seems disjointed, and the characters confused. There were many plot holes, and nothing was explained properly. It read as if the author was high on some substance as she wrote this.
The main female character was married to and pregnant for her husband. Before she married him she had major doubts and gave in for the sake of her unborn child. What happens to that child and when and where she gave birth is a mystery. Was it love, guilt of obsession is uncertain.
The only real positive is that the book covers were just beautiful and that may have influence many purchases.
