This is actually almost the equivalent of, "Well that escalated quickly." And it's perfect. Especially with it ending in only one more chapter. That's sad, because this story is great, but it's also good because it will tell a complete story. I enjoy this story very much, and you can take it however you would like, as long as you are open minded.

This has been surprisingly brilliant. I'm both looking forward to the last issue and a little sad to see it coming already.
