The world is at war, a war determined to involve Eli, whether he likes it or not. Hitler, his dark army of feral vampires, and even the Devil himself, all conspire against Eli, leaving him no choice but to fight back, risking Malachi’s soul in the process.
Eli is determined to find Ethan’s father, no matter the cost to himself or Malachi, and in a place filled with death and unending cruelty, Eli realizes that some truths should remain buried, and some truths are just too terrible to bear. When the old enemy, demons from Eli’s dark past, find him once more, they reveal a secret so impossible, so terrible, that it pushes Eli to the very edge of his endurance. They took his boyfriend from him once, and the secrets that they reveal about the man he once loved threaten to strip Eli of everything that he holds dear, pushing him to the edge of his sanity.
Eli thought that he had nothing left to lose, but at Welwelsburg Concentration Camp, he realizes that he was very wrong.

I think that as I approach that milestone that is fifty, I must be one of the oldest gamers on the face of this earth. Many a day you will find me lashed to my PS4 enjoying a good session of Skyrim. Who doesn’t love a good session of Skyrim?
I love writing—I have done it since I was a child when I would happily write about the latest episode of Doctor Who (Tom Baker in those days) in my schoolbooks. Growing up and becoming a business owner with my friend Jayne left little time to pursue my dream of publication, but of late the desire and the compulsion to put words onto paper have once again dominated my life so that now, my laptop has become surgically fused to my fingertips.
There is something desperately satisfying about telling a story. My fascination with History, Religion and Conspiracy theories have, in this instance, gone hand-in-hand with my love of all things vampire, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. I drove my parents nuts when I was young because that was all I would read about in books, all I would watch on television, but they have held me in good stead, and long may my obsession with the subjects continue, at least, that is, until the day they put me in my own wooden box. And imagination is such a wonderful thing. I once had a rather vivid dream about David Tennant and the Tardis console, but I could not possibly go into details about that here. Let’s just say that my polarity was well and truly reversed.
Dead Camp is just the beginning. I have to check my knickers every day at the thought that this book is now in the public domain. My first book, and I hope the first of many. And to those out there who love to write, who love to transport us to new worlds, or old worlds with a twisted perspective, I say to you keep going. I never thought I would ever see my work available to download, and thanks to eXtasy Books, the dream that I always thought unobtainable has finally come true. So thank you all at eXtasy, I am one happy homosexual thanks to you, and thank you the reader for taking the time to read this strange tale and allowing Eli and the incomparable Malachi into your lives.
And now I really need Skyrim.

KERR-POW!
This second installment into the continuing saga of the Dead Camp series does not disappoint. I found out later that this was originally supposed to be part of book one but was split into two by the publisher, so this book does NOT start with a Chapter One. For a moment, I thought my kindle had gone batty, but the publisher didn’t choose to renumber the Chapters so don’t get confused. I won’t blame the author for this. Not in his control. However, I will blame him for this superb tale!!!!

Sean Kerr, as in all his stories I have discovered, wields emotion and intrigue like a flexible extension of himself that is fused to his being. This story picks up where the first left off and I love that in continued stories. We find our main character, Eli, the vampire that is most definitely his own worst enemy, infiltrating a concentration camp with his faithful and infatuated cohort, Malachi. This is where Sean Kerr exudes bravery in tackling a volatile and touchy subject matter, and he does so with reverence and grace. Only Sean Kerr could make Death sound like poetry in motion.

The author creates characters that you can’t help but care about and those you hate. All because they are unique and full of depth. The descriptions in this book are fluid and pact with powerful imagery. The whole novel is dowsed with so many great lines that it is difficult to pick out my favorite…well…There is one, but I will not Spoil it for other readers.

I love that this series is twined with real history and WWII has always been one of my fascinations so it is no wonder how I am drawn to this amazing series. This World War II tale includes Nazis, Ghosts, Demons and truly interesting and unique Vampires. I wouldn’t say this story ends on a cliffhanger exactly because I think of those more like…Oh, the car went off the cliff, will they live? Instead, Kerr handles this expertly by concluding this segment of the story but leaves us wanting more as there is more to the story as is in most cases of life.

Treat yourself to this series if you haven’t started it yet and you will come to love this masterful author and storyteller as I have.

This book was even a more amazing ride than the first. It shows you the incredible strength of the human spirit, and then the weakness. The best of mankind, and the worst. The strength of love and the power love has to break you. I will have book hangover forever. I will be the first in line for Dead Camp 3. I can't love this series enough. Wow!!

This!! This should’ve been the first book in the series. It is SO SO MUCH better than the first. The first book spent way too much time on the backstory of secondary characters. So much time that I didn’t have any type of sense of who the main characters were. Or why I should care about them. This book however had so much insight on the MC. As opposed to the first book, There is actually character development in this book and I enjoyed it. So. Much. Next, this book is SUSPENSEFUL AS F#$k! I picked this series up because I was looking for a thriller. Finally it got thrilling. The fighting scenes are SUPER graphic and definitely can’t be squeamish if you’re going to read this but got damn was I clutching my got damn pearls! After reading the first book I wasn’t going to finish this series but I gave the 2nd a chance and good THANG! I’m all in to finish now.

Ps. So I had some issues. 1st diversity in this in like nonexistent. Diversity is a high priority for me and the books I read. Diversity in this book comes down to pale skin, 6 pack, blonde hair VS. pale, 6 pack, brunette. So that really disappointed me. Also the character Malachi is continuously the butt of the joke because of his “feminine” ways but being feminine doesn’t make you less than. I wish that weren’t a thing

This is a series that will end being 5 books in all and I strongly suggest starting with book one. These books are so intricately written, that if you start with this book, you will be confused. This author has the most vivid imagination. He’s had about every one of my emotions on high alert and not sure which emotion was coming next.

This picks up right where book one left off and some of my questions start getting answers. For example, we learn about Malachi’s death. This makes me sad for both Malachi and Eli. I know some of you hate Eli, but before I can be too hard on him, I must learn more. And as beautiful as an angel Daniyyel is, he frustrates me. I mean, I know he means well, and everyone has to make their own choices, but common, a little hint, please.

And as much as Eli wants to stay secluded from the world, he knows he can’t just watch the world collapse. He’s such a magnificent vampire and so powerful. I love that he finally embraces his vampire and shows us what he’s capable of doing. He knows he needs to find Ethan’s father but is still trying to figure out this connection he has to Ethan. Oh and, what Eli discovers at the Hitler camps makes him nauseous. How can such evil exist and how will he approach this situation?

How will Mal ever get passed his news that he learned of his death? How will he compete with Ethan? Oh, how Mal needs Eli’s love, and he feels him slipping away, and he doesn’t know how to properly deal with everything he’s feeling. The route he chooses is devastating and will he survive it?

And the way Ethan tells his story will suck you in. I wanted to go looking for his dad myself but, then, I remembered I’m reading this, and it is not my reality. I love how this author lets me forget about reality and sucks me into this wonderful world of chaos and beauty. The places that I was taken to, both took my breath away and flabbergasted me. I actually looked up some of these places to have the visual of it. There is so much beauty in the world and, unfortunately, there is a lot of ugliness too.

These are all such important questions that need answering, and I sure wish I could help, but I am unable to do so because I had to read it for these answers and so will you. These men are all hot, and there are some really hot sex scenes but, the story is so good, that you will not want to put it down. Now go enjoy this book before it’s too late.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!

Sean Kerr has done it again! Dead Camp 2 is even better than the 1st book in the series! Eli the Vampire and Mal the Ghost have absolutely no memories of their previous lives or of how they came to be what they are. There are many dark lies, and even darker truths that are remembered as the story unfolds. Read their stories and see how their lives are affected by what they remember. Their stories are like the craziest, scariest rollercoaster ride that you have ever been on. The one that while your on the ride you pray for it to end but once it does your sad because it was to short of a ride! This book will put you through every emotion imaginable and leave you wanting more! I'm definitely excited for book 3 to be ready to buy, I Will be one-clicking and reading it immediately! Buy and read these amazing stories you won't be sorry!

Nothing short of Brilliant.
After reading through Ethan's father Isaiah's journals, Eli and Mal set off to find Isaiah and bring him back to Ethan.
On this journey Eli discovers truths about himself and former lover Gideon that rocks him to his core. Eli also finds he has an enormous amount of compassion for humankind that he thought he had lost. Once again the author Sean Kerr has managed to combine horror with some very dry humour. There were many tears shed on my part when reading about the atrocities inflicted on these innocent humans knowing that there was so many truths in this story. Have fallen deeply in love with Malachi he is now my favourite character.
Do yourself a favour add this series to your must read list I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Holy. Mother. Fucker.

I stand aghast as the truth slowly unfolds. So many revelations at the end that I can’t wait to read the next book. Sean, you really know how to write a cliffhanger ;-). I dread the end of book three as the next one has not been published yet.

My assumption about Eli's true self (or maybe former? as he's probably not the same person anymore) may turn out to be correct, Begs for the question now, who Ethan really is. Hm. Guess (hope!) we'll find out soon, as Daniyyel the little shit Oh an Mal. Poor chap. I want to see him happy (and, actually, preferably with Melek).

Don't leave me hanging, Sean! xx

Oh, and please don't forget the sexy times...

Once again I have never read a book that is so full of information and written with such flair as these books. I don't usually read horror but I am once again totally drawn into Eli's world and the world of the Nazi concentration camps which are so horrific it's hard to imagine a worse place. Eli shows his more compassionate side in this book, but also his most evil side when he takes revenge on the captors which made me want to cheer him on. There is a lot of humour in this book which helps to balance out the horror of everything and Eli meets some wonderful but sad characters in the camp. We also find out more about Mal and the reasons why he does what he does.

I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series as there is so much more to explore and questions that need answering. I can't recommend this author enough. If you like books with humour, horror and great male characters, you wont be disappointed.

I am going with a 5 star rating for this book. At one point I was going to deduct a star for the liberal use of the words c*** and T**t which I absolutely abhor.
However, the story itself was heartbreaking especially when you know that a large part of what you are reading is factual. Bonds formed by men even for a few hours destroyed them.
I do wish that I had read part 2 soon after part 1. I struggled to remember some of the first book and the link into Welwelsburg.
However, a great book but you will need a strong stomach for it.

WARNINGS: a little bit of gore, on page; heartbreak; cheating; secrets; historical events that may be upsetting for some readers: Holocaust.

Oh, Eli!

Oh, Mal!

Gideon, you rat!

This, pretty much sums up my thoughts of book 2. I needed to read it so badly that I didn't finish until 2.30am. And then I had a total book hangover for half an hour, unable to even attempt to sleep, while wishing book 3 was available already. Because then I'd have bought it and stayed up until 6am if that was what it took to read it and find out what happens next.

And the annoying thing is that I can't tell you anything about the plot! Because it's all spoilers. Secrets, man. So, so many secrets!! And we finally get to learn some, in the heartbreaking, perfect way I imagined.

To try to articulate how I felt reading this installment of the saga that is Dead Camp, I spent half of the book crying. Poor Eli, for being so tormented and so evil that he couldn't make up his mind whether to love the humans of the world or hate them. And poor Mal, for trusting so unconditionally, when he really should have questioned everything.

Again, Melek was a troublesome, sneaky one, but I only fell more in love with him. I now very firmly ship Melmal. To the end! The way he dealt with things, carefully manipulating a really, really long game, was just genius.

The world building, once more, was spectacular. Not only did it use real events in history, but it wove them into this paranormal tale seamlessly. I cried so hard for Joseph and celebrated with even more tears when the prisoners from the camp fought back against the Nazis. Ugh. The way Sean Kerr can write emotion, can tug at your heart strings within a brutal, bloody battle scene, is just beautiful. Then I cried for Eli, because Gideon is a rat bastard.

It was a shame not to see Ethan, but I also think it was important. He wasn't strictly needed right now, though I don't doubt that he'll have a very important part to play in part 3. Daniyyel, similarly, is only in the story very shortly, but Wowee does he have a huge part!

~

In the end, this is the story of Eli, Malachi and Gideon, and how all three are intermingled in a war between Heaven and Hell, God and Melek. And how, ultimately, there are no heroes in the world. There is a world full of hatred, horror, death, lies and secrets. And there are humans, vampires, Menarche and more. But, in the end, there are only the monsters within us all.

All I can say is that I NEED book 3. NOW! Please and thank you.

Book is so amazing. This book had me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails. Wondering what's going to happen next. He does give you a few details that were left off in book one. So it's not those books where none of the questions get answered until the last book and your not happy with how it turned out. It's nothing like that. Your jaw will drop and what is revealed. Of course he does leave some suspense for book 3. The emotion that comes with these books is so beyond words. I can't wait for book 3 to come out. This truly is a AWESOME series to have in your collection.

A much darker read than the first book but maybe even a better book. There is great sadness in a number of scenes, it is set in a concentration camp afterall and it's dealt with beautifully. The Mal storyline is heartbreaking too. It's not all dark and broody though, the authors sense of humour cannot help making an appearance, which lightens the mood in all the right places.

Good sequel that answered some questions, but left you with some new ones. I was heartbroken for Mal. I can't wait to find out the connection Eli and Ethan have. I hope there will be happiness for Eli in the end and hopefully for Mal as well, they have both suffered for so long. Looking forward to book 3.

Wow.. What a book. Fantastic and brilliantly written.
The story continues when they go in search of Ethan's Father, Isaiah. But they go knowing its not going to be easy would be understatement. Walking into a camp on the side of Hitler is terrifying enough. Action scenes are the best written. Can they find Isaiah and save him from hell.
Note yah I did use a few tissues definitely needed.

This series gets more interesting and more intense and more intriguing with each book. Book one was basically about letting the reader in on what was to come. It was a book that built the suspense for the reader as to what they could anticipate. Book two is more about unanswered questions, lies, and betrayal.

This book bases itself around Mal and Eli for the most part. Both men go undercover to infiltrate the compound where Ethan's father is being held and a prison camp. At this prison camp both Eli and Mal come to learn secret that they never thought they would have answers to.

Eli learned that even though he never wanted to care again and never wanted to love again that he still did. All the destruction around him of human life tore Eli to shreds. It also Gabe Eli the will power to want to fight and defend these people. Something he has lost a long time ago. It gave him his humanity back. Eli met some people in this prison camp that he ill never be able to forget and promises that he intends to keep.

Mal too learned things about himself while he was undercover in the prison camp. He learned that he could easily turn to the dark side if he allowed it. That there is power behind it but there is also destruction and pain. He learned how he ended up the way that he is and he learned what betrayal feels like.

This book truly was a book about eye openers and maybe even hope for the future. I am still routing for Eli and Ethan to end up together in the end but that is still to be seen. I cannot wait to read book three. I believe it will be a huge eye opener with even more revaluations. I believe it will also be just as gripping as the l past two books have been.
