This was book 9 of a very long series. Interesting new tidbits about the lizards which make you wonder just how they will be defeated - I'm sure I'll have to read a bunch more books to find out! Its hard to write a review in that you have to have read all the previous books (1-8) to relate or I'd have to tell you the story :-) There are lots of battles on a scale that is hard to imagine and it makes the human race appear to be very small and hopelessly outnumbered - but then again this overall series covers thousands of years so the humans have some time to catch up (I think) :-) About the time I get bored with all the battle details the author manages to insert new story material to get me interested again. This has been a pattern and now I'mm reading book 10.

Another good read detailed like crazy

For myself, this is a high point which might be a difficult one for some, but these books have a lot of details of daily activities that really enrich the the storyline. Every book has different main characters that it focuses on, but the underlying story is still the prime main character. Going to get the next book and dig into it shortly

Worlds to see.

As a space opera, this is a world you can get lost in. Many threads weaving a picture in your imagination of 4 armed Knights and Super human Archons with other super human beings and alien races blending together in a real world view of a possible future for us all. Immerse yourself in a future that has all the power of real life.

Nice mix of different...

Still more of the watching sports type thing but better managed to keep it from getting too boring. Good action and suspense. Empire building, halo video game and star wars movies all in one book.

Interesting developments. I appreciate the mission into the Lizard capital, the discovery of the mastermind and the natural-born masters, the calavari knights, and the inevitable collapse of their anti-lizard coalition. I'm hoping for swift escalation and some new discoveries in the next box set.

Hard core sci fi

This is becoming my favorite type of sci-fi. I love getting to know new characters new abilities new ways of thinking. Anxious to see what new types of armor Battle tactics inabilities to come. Keep up the good work looking forward to reading the next edition.

More story

I'm sure others have picked up on this, but this is a series that can go on forever. It is easy to cover one character in depth and there are a lot of characters. The books are keeping my interest, so keep on writing them.

Good read

Much better compared to the previous book, yet it still dragged on at certain points but overall a very good read.
