2.5 stars. This is just my opinion, you may love it, but here goes. I just couldn't get behind this couple. I thought they had great chemistry and cared about each other but he was still sleeping with OW as a porn star the whole time, like til the very last page when he says he will quit. And she was okay with his job. I mean really, she's fine with him having sex with random women? First of all the first sex scene with a random bartender was without condom. HELLO? Isn't there some rule that they have to be careful for Pete's sake, they have sex for a living!!! I just wanted her to respect herself more, I was so proud when she stopped him from sex the first time because it should mean something. Then she totally disappointed me by saying his job is okay as long as he showers after. WTF?? No, it was almost so good but I just couldn't get behind this line of reasoning. I will say that it is pretty hot in the sex scenes so if that is what your looking for this book has it.

Okay, look, I picked up this book expecting it to be ridiculous. But I didn't expect it to be this ridiculous. The relationship development between the characters was rushed and didn't feel realistic enough for me.
One second they were all professional and the next second she was asking him to be her sex mentor....? I mean, what? I was baffled.

Hot read!
This book was fun to read. It was fast paced and entertaining. The characters were well developed and the plot was good. There were parts that stood out to me and made the connection to the story feel real. I felt like i was drawn into the story through the writing. Loved this book and I definitely recommend reading it.

This story may have been good but the narrators don't do it any justice so I couldn't continue. I was only an hour in and couldn't stop the annoyance with their voices.

I did not care for this book. The beginning was ok, and the idea was ok. But nothing else really did anything for me. We have Beth who is a 24 year old virgin. She just happens to get the chance of a life time, when shes asked to write a story about the porn industry. And this is where some of my issue begins. Beth who is a "very talented author" doesnt feel she can write said story due to being a virgin. Now add Rick, who is literally a man whore, not just a porn star. He is literally adding tattooed "notches" on his back. As the author points out over and over 199 of them to be exact. I think it would have helped a little is this had not been pointed out over and over. Now Beth decides to try to write the story, and is interviewing Rick. Rick is quick to point out his tattoos, and Beth is insulted and leaves. Then apologizes for being insulted, and over sensitive! Why? They aqree to meet and try again. So this time he pulls her right into the middle of a porn filming.... And she kisses him! After not speaking for a few days due to the embarrassment, Beth then asks "Thick Rick" the porn star to TRAIN and TEACH her! She was described as a really strong intelligent woman yet I did not get that impression at all. I think this quote about sums up the whole book for me... Rick," Her nipples could take more abuse than a supermarket cart." Really? (For the record not specifically a BDSM.)

I didn't know what to expect from a romance with the male character being a porn star. It definitely is a new storyline for me.
I have to say that I really enjoyed the story that the authors have released. Beth is a reporter asked to do a story about the porn industry and do something new with the topic. She is very unsure and out of her element. Beth is a virgin and not even familiar with porn.
Rick starts off as a stereotype. He is the porn star who goes to the bar to pick up women all the time. He doesn't do relationships. He even keeps a record of his conquests using tattoo marks. He loves sex and makes no apologies for his work or his play. Beth intrigues him and their first meeting does not go well.
When they engage in a sexual relationship, the story really gets interesting. Rick instructs her on all aspects of sexual play and does not rush the process. There are some very sexually charged scenes. There is also the question of whether he can have something real as long as he continues to work in the industry in porn.
I really enjoyed the story of these two very different people exploring and learning more about themselves as they become more intimate. It is an intriguing storyline and will definitely keep your interest.

i liked this book but didn't LOVEEEE it. I would have liked more information at the end. Like did he put a design over the tattoo. Also, we got a full 2 pages of her performing on him but no kind of description of him performing on her for the first time. I don't mind knowing how she handled that thick rick but i would have enjoyed her POV on him going down on her A LOT more. Something that really bothered me that someone else mentioned was when he hooked up with a random chick and no mention of a darn condom....ummmm really...porn star or not you should use protection when having sex with anyone outside of work. I really like the premise of the book so I'd recommend this book. Giving advance warning that you'll run across errors but nothing to crazy.

Received an ARC for an honest review! Thick Rick is a fast paced, hot and fun read. It gives you a different view of the characters and what they are about and what they want to learn. This book will keep your attention with the humor, heat and a story line that makes you enjoy each character. My view on this book is that even though we may have everything planned in life, there are paths that will cross that will have you thinking that there is more to life than what is planned. You just have to make the jump and see where you land. I am really enjoying the works of Elliott Kane with Davida Lynn.

This book was a great look into what a porn star goes through with out emotions and just getting the job done. For Rick that is what he did and how he felt about women just being conquests and how many there could be. Throw in. Virgin named Beth and boy do you get an awesome story. Beth gets Rick to show her what all the things sex has to offer because she is writing. An article that hopefully will send her to stardom herself. Will Rick and Beth be able to get past all the things to do with Porn and go on about there business's like it doesn't really exist past the hours they work it.

This is my second book that I've read by this author duo and it didn't disappoint. The story was fun, light-hearted, and of course hot!! From beginning to end this story captured my attention. The characters were funny and the chemistry between Rick and Beth was off the charts! This had all of my favorite elements in a story: a hot dominant male, a sassy female, and of course hot as heck steamy moments.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a hot read that will keep you enthralled from beginning to end. Another fabulous story from Elliot Kane and Davida Lynn!

I really enjoyed this book. It's fun and fast paced. You will enjoy the characters and storyline. The chemistry between Rick and Beth is super hot! It has hot and steamy sex scenes that will keep you wanting more. I really enjoying the stories by Elliott Kane and Davida Lynn. They don't disappoint. Received advance copy for honest review

Thick Rick is about a Porn Star and it definitely hold your attention. I really enjoyed the book and the characters are well written and likable. This story is very hot and sizzling sex scenes. If you are looking for a quick hot read that keeps you flipping pages, this book is for you.

Cute..
Cute story, not as great as expected. Misspelled words, misused words, incorrect grammar etc. The story itself was annoying. A porn star that sleeps with 200 women (one night stands included) and not once was a condom mentioned. Just wrong. The justification is that he gets tested every month.
Because I did like the premise of the book I have it two stars.

This is Elliott Kane & Davida Lynn's second book together & they are just proving what an amazing duo they are.
Loved Rick & Beth's characters & the book has an amazing storyline that gripped me from start to finish.

This is my second porn star book I've read and I must say I really enjoy them. Wasn't sure at first but the lessons are hot hot hot! This really is a great quick read. Strong storyline, great sex scenes and a sweet inquisitive leading lady.

This story line was awesome. Men can be a challenge that's for sure. I loved Joe they went from zero to sixty after their first encounter. Couldn't put this book down!
