Flat Squirrel: Funny and absurd stories. About life.

Rate this book
Flat Squirrel is a selection of fun and absurd stories all written as poems. The poems began as a tribute to departing colleagues, ‘Farewell Steve Jobs’ was the first published poem. They are divided into three sets: Trilby is about Home, Panama is about Play and Fez is about Work with a nod to the late great Tommy Cooper. The poems range from tributes to friends, Nelson Mandela and Flight 370 to pondering BMWs, Luis Suarez, Norwegian Woods, Paris and Christmas. Some are protests, some are observations and a few are just plain silly. Most will make you smile – one or to will bring a tear to the eye. The poems are not all polite so please don’t give the book to small children, but do read it to them selectively. PS Keep an eye out for Maude and Mabel, they will be back.
