This book is written for teachers in a classroom setting, but I have been able to adapt many of the ideas for homeschooling my young children. These are hands on activities and have kept my 4-year-old engaged while I am working with another child. I have not had to purchase any materials thus far as so many of the ideas revolve around items that can easily be recycled (like Styrofoam and bubble wrap). I have really enjoyed and used this book!

Had some pretty good crafts, for older children. I did find some good instructions on how to make googles with rings from a 6 pack and cellophane.
