Obsessed
I flew through the trilogy. I just loved the characters especially Emmy and loved how the series ended. It was perfect . Second favorite character was Bradley. Just so fun ! I would happily read more of your novels,Elise and would be thrilled to join Team Blackwood.

I read all the three books and last one definitely doesn't disappoint.
It flows perfectly with the last two in the series. Not sure where to start,but our intelligent, sarcastic with dry sense of humour ,smart,sassy heroine finds her happily forever(thats all I am going to say, w/o spoilers).
It keeps you edge as to what will happen next. It doesn't stretch. The author has written it beautifully, giving a perfect and satisfying end. You can feel emotions, dynamics, action sequnces, dry sense of humuour, highs and lows through the wrting. Loved all the character from Emmy,Black,Nate, Mack, Nick, Luke, Carmen, Dan, Jed, Logan, Alex,Toby,Tia, Bradley, The Don.
Enjoyed the series a loy. A great read.

I have fallen head over heels in love with Emmy and Black's story. The two exceptionally complicated, but so lovable characters lead a cast of stella personalities on travels the world over.
The grit and action blend perfectly with wit, sarcasm, and an abundance of skills that bring non-stop adventure to the journey of the Blackwood security team.
I sat on the edge of my seat as I followed Emmy and the team into South America to find retribution and to right many wrongs. More than once I found myself needed to stop for a breather, only to zealously dive back in for more.
I love this series and I cannot wait to read more about all of the perfectly created family that make up the Blackwood Security team.

Absolutely brilliant. You're in for an action packed adventure
Firstly I must say I hadn't read any books from this author until pitch black was featured on radish. My only regret is I didn't read it sooner. I've now read all 3 of the trilogy and still want more. Emmy has worked hard from the gutter brat as a child to a powerful rich assassin and partner in a global security company. It's action packed and extremely well written. I've been on a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to end willing Emmy to be safe and survive on missions to shedding tears on emotional scenes. Fantastic twist at the end I never saw that coming. Can't wait to read more.

WOW! This book was full of surprises but not sure how much I can tell without spoilers. On Emmy's birthday 14 men attack her house but fortunately only one of the guards didn't survive. That's when she decides to go after Black's murder despite the threats and so she ends up in Columbia. With the help of a drug lord she's friends with for years, her team and Emmy plan revenge. What they overcome on their mission is quite a surprise, a damn good one tbh. I love how this story turns out, especially once they're back to America. If you haven't read a book by Elise before, you need to read this series! The characters and the plot is fabulous!

Another action packed book with Emmy and Blackwell Security. This is the book that starts putting all the pieces together of what happed to Black and why - and it's not something that had even crossed my mind. A little twist to the story that you will have probably seen coming but not int he way that it happens though.
I loved the ending of this trilogy and really enjoyed getting to know Emmy, Black, Nash, Nate, Mack, Dan, Luke, Tia and all the others that have made an appearance.
I've enjoyed all the friendship and loyalty everyone at Blackwell Security has for each other. I can't wait to continue with this series.

Hundred stars!!!
It’s like the book fairy heard all my wishes and made them true!! On my last review I was so bummed because I wanted our leading lady to get her happily ever after and praying to any who would listen that some crazy chain of events could lead to a certain someone’s return from the dead...and not as a zombie..lol. And bam! This book delivered beyond my wildest dreams! Loved it. Read the little bonus part in Blacks POV and loved that as well!!! Yay for Emmy! This author is one talented writer. Can’t wait to read more of her work!!

good story and much better than the last book
this was so much better than the last book. you have to have read the first two books to make sense of this. It was easier to read as clues about who was talking in each chapter were there. I had already guessed at the ending and about the relationships of the characters. bradley is still OTT but not as bad as in previous books. there was plenty action and romance. I think I will read the next book.

Great Book. This book will leave you wanting to know what happens next to everyone in it. The book is about a woman that lose it after her husband was taken from her and she just took off. You will not want to put it down it will wrap you up to see what is going to happen to Emmy and the people around her at the time of her life.

So good
I'm so happy about how this trilogy ended. I was so worried for Luke and emmy, and everything turned out perfectly. I had literal anxiety about/for them when I started reading these books. Lol. Lots of laughs, some years and a hearty amount of suspense and intrigue. AND, a happy ending.

An amazing series!
Seriously if it were possible, Emmy would have balls of Steele....really...if you haven't read the first two books of this series...as well as Forever Black, don't deprive yourself any longer. Action packed story lines..really well done characters, a veritable smoking page-turner. I really love this author's work. And the ending....superb! I really recommend!

This was by far the best of the first three books. Action-packed, full of Emmi's sarcasm and Bradley's outrageous spending and excitement and a great ending to Diamond's story . Did not disappoint.

October 25, 2023This was the cutest of the trilogy, i was rooting for the 2 characters the whole time to be together. They felt so right for each other, even if she could have been considered "groomed" it was a match made perfectly!
I loved the ending to their story, and will continue to listen to however many audiobooks i can find :)

Usually with a series the first one is the best. But with this book each series got better. This book has some twist and moments of heartbreak. Loved each character Elise Noble brought into this series. I also, loved the narrator some times the voices where silly but I loved it! Moving on to Gold Rush!

Addicted to Emmy. I could not stop reading this trilogy and I think Elise Noble has become one of my favourite authors. I am now making my way through her other books including the rest of the blackwood series.

Loved this trilogy. This is the first set of books I've read by Elise Noble and am happy I came across them. They are well written with believable, interesting characters and a good plot. looking forward to reading her other books.

Fun, violent, bawdy, action adventure romance. Each book in the trilogy is better than the one before but all are necessary to the story. There is a option for a clean version available for those who prefer to avoid graphic language ,sex and violence.

Wow. What an ending to the trilogy.This book has it all. Tears, Smiles, deaths, births, gun fights, knife fights, planes, helicopters, boats, fast cars and lots of love!! I couldn't put it down until I finished the book. Highly recommend it.

Maybe so but a very good read .Characters are larger than life and money is no problem.
Individual characters are interesting and varied and with so many characters in the story I admire the way Elise keeps the story line alive and on track.

I am absolutely bowled over by the author and her knowledge and her ability to keep you totally engaged in the story. There is no down time just thrills all the way. Off to buy Book 4

I found this book to be quite enjoyable. The conclusion of Emmy and Balck's story wrapped up nicely and left me feeling satisfied. It effectively addressed the key themes and character arcs, making the ending rewarding.

Great Series!
This whole series stars out as a runaway mystery. Then it turns into a runaway mystery love story. Then it turns into a murder mystery, spy mystery, love story, then a tragedy, spy story and high tech bad guy vs good guy high steaks love story. I enjoyed it.

I read through the trilogy, found it hard to put down. I actually think I've found my new favourite author!! I loved how every book has been written and would love to join team Blackwood!!
