Through careful, verse-by-verse analysis of Revelation and related texts, and appeal to the larger themes and archetypes of God's redemptive purpose, The Consummation of the Ages shows that Christ's Second Coming, the end of the world, and resurrection of the dead wee fulilled in teh events culminating in the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. The Consummation of the Ages also looses the riddle of Revelation Twenty, demolishing the age old error of a single millennium, and demonstrates by clear, concise argument that two millennia, unrelated in time and event, are contemplated by the text, as was also taught by John Wesley and Joseph Bengel.
This is a commentary on the book of Revelation, however it is written from a full/consistent/hyper preterist perspective, but the work done on the images presented in the Revelation is outstanding.
