Daniel Suárez Pérez was born in Madrid (Spain).
He graduated in S.C. Information branch of Image and Sound from the Complutense University of Madrid. He began his career as a director of videos and promotional videos announcer, while conducting photography exhibitions.
He has worked as a draftsman in several animated series both Spanish ("The Triplets", "Juanito Jones", "The kingdoms of the rainbow") and foreign ("The Rhinegold", produced by the BBC, "Billy the cat","The magic faraway tree" or the spot "Coyote" from Warner Bros.), and doing illustrations for various organizations and publications.
He has also worked for Spanish Film Library, both in the film museum, cataloging of film set design, as in the film section of funds, carrying out restoration work on films. He has also worked at the National Library, sorting and computerizing the posters collection of that entity. He has several works of graphic design and layout.
He made his first short cartoon, and has others in preparation
He has made several individual and collective exhibitions (28 International Comic-Ficomic Barcelona 2010, XII International Comic Salon in Madrid Expocomic 2009, I Gothic Week of Madrid, XIV Internacional Festival de Jazz of Ciudad Lineal ...).
He has authored an artwork book titled "Dibujando pasiones" (Drawing passions) on sale in bookshops and the web.
He is a member of the Professional Association of Illustrators of Madrid (APIM) and the Association of Authors of Spain's Comic (AACE).
