As an avid reader it is very refreshing when an author can develop their characters so intensely you feel as if you know them. Having read the Queen of DC books 1 & 2, I developed a love hate relationship with the main character Keeli. After reading this interlude I have further been given an inside look at why each of these characters are the way the way are. Want to know what Simm is up to or shall I say has been up to, want to know how Kia and Monae has fared since cutting ties with QDC? I won't post spoilers but omg prepare to be shaken up and taken on a ride. Keeli and Juan's reach is long. Wait to you see what's coming for this power couple. Im shaking in anticipation of the next installment. Hop on board to see what all my excitement is about. Excellent release but I expected nothing less.

This interlude gave vital insight on Simm, Monae, Kia & Jackie's characters. It gave you a better understanding of why they were the way they were by taking you back to the beginning for them. After reading Kia's story, I started to feel bad for her after finding out her back-story. The same for Monae. Simm has and will always be a grimey wannabe after everything that Jackie has had. Now to start QDC3!

Five stars from me, because I have been excited to read this book ever since I came across it and I have enjoyed reading about the different character's side of things , I can relate to the characters and I personal feel like Keeli, did something to me lol , over all great read smooth story line and I have recommend this book to my bookclub on Facebook: Hot Topic Adult Book Club .

I thought this interlude provided great additional background info on 4 people who were once close to Keeli. Good page turner. Keeli has made lots of enemies on her way to becoming the Queen of DC. Storyline consistent with the prior 2 books. Looking forward to reading the next part of this story.

Very interesting read. I'm glad I read this book because it filled in a lot of blanks from the previous 2 books. Waiting for diary of a pawn 2 and QDC3 to drop.
