Good with room to improve.

I like the way the author explains every topic about the most common commands in Linux. The author keeps every chapter short and straight to the point. I believe an important topic to be included is the Linux directory structure. Directories like /usr, /bin, /tmp are important to know their function in the system. I recommend this book to anybody who wants to start with Linux or for someone who needs to refresh their knowledge. I'll give you three stars because the book is missing important basic concepts of Linux and include others advance ones, like shell scripts.

This book was way too short for content it tried to contain. Most of the descriptions were too brief to give understanding of a topic focusing on just how to use described tool with little background information.

Too short

While whatever is written is helpful, I found this book too short to serve its purpose.

Could have included more topics but I guess books on such practical topics can cover only so much.
