A good discussion of the health benefits that derive from Bromelain, an enzyme most commonly found in pineapple. These benefits apparently include improving digestion, reducing inflammation, enhancing circulation (blood), curbing parasites (and even cancer), and healing wounds, bruises, sports injuries, etc. The benefits obtain from both eating pineapple (the stem is the part richest in this enzyme) or in taking bromelain supplements. A good read.
