This book is wonderful in every way. Countless examples of a beautiful, innovating and inspiring Italian magazine, with really good captions to give some necessary translations as well as interesting context to the designs. It is separated by sections, going through past and present sections of the magazine and clearly showing the evolution the magazine has gone through.

The design of the book is everything you want in a good coffee table book: luxurious white space, simple and effective typography, and elegant section openers.

It took me a really long time to read the entire book, as I chose to read it linearly. The design showcased in this book is so wonderful, that I simply couldn't digest too much all at once. I took my time to savor it. However, I will definitely dip back into this book when looking for inspiration in my own design work in the future.

The illustrations and infographs truly stand out. Wonderful work! Congratulations to everyone involved!

I could not recommend this book enough. It is incredibly inspiring and could affirm a love for magazines in even the coldest hearts.

Amazing book about editorial design and journalism. A straight forward take into how lifestyles magazines should be tackle-down in a modern and global society.
My only critique is that it could provide a more detailed insight into the creating process of infographics or their ideas themselves. Francesco's previous book (News Design) provided a few direct examples with comments of the collaborators and was just a perfect reading experience. Something like that could have elevated the content of this book. Nonetheless, an essential for any editorial designer and even journalists.
