The illustrations were nice and lifelike. So much so that I suffered serious anxiety from some of the pictures, and especially not knowing what I'd find on the next page. Bugs seriously give me the creeps. But, I like learning about things, even creepy things. Each illustration has a bit of information about the specimen. Some of them are even life-sized on the page!
