With the intensity of their raging hormones, Sarah and Graham were young and in love. We all love an emotional second chance love story and Natalie Decker’s Graham is a perfect example of how two people too young to realize what love is, get a chance at a do-over when things look their very bleakest. Sarah was a girl raised in a lonely house, filled with material things and she was self-centered, sometimes cruel, but in reality, she lived a lonely life.

Graham was a rebel, he was trouble, but they were the perfect pair, opposites in so many ways, but each finding something in the other. Until the night Sarah broke Graham’s heart. When Sarah’s world is ripped out from under her, her dysfunctional family torn apart, she must start over, examine who she used to be and accept that she wants to be better.

Graham, now an angry young man away at college, is forced to come home and there she was. Sarah, the girl who broke his heart is back in his life. Can he be the man she needs? Angsty in parts, these two characters are equal parts adorable and frustrating. A quick read, perfect for N/A romance lovers who would rather have more pages of plot than the requisite steaming sex, there is still plenty of emotional sizzle that is even more sensual.

Actually I am not sure anymore why I chose to read that book. I was unsure about the characters already judging from the blurb. And it turns out I was right doubting it.

While the plotline is not bad and the writing is ok, it is actually the character development that is my issue. I could totally not connect with the leading characters. They were supposed to be making amends - supposed to be better then they were, but for me acutally they never did.

And in the moments where the reader was supposed to feel a connection between the leads, for me there wasn't any connection at all. They felt like ships passing at night.

I know that sounds horrible if I say it blantly like that but I am sorry it is my honest feeling.

This was an alright read. I thought the story was good, but it definitely could have been better. For me, the book was boring because there were many parts I thought were boring. Also, Sarah was not a very likeable heroine in my opinion. I thought that she was rude and not that relatable. However, I did come to understand her as the book went on, so I thought that was nice. Graham was an okay character. I thought he had some sweet moments, and some not-so sweet moments in the book. I thought their romance was somewhat sweet. I thought the ending was good. I will continue the series. I wonder how Kyle’s story will turn out in the next book. Overall, an okay read.

I have to say, I didn't know how excited I was to read Sarah's story. I didn't particularly like her in Bryce's book, but I wanted to see if she was a redeemable character. I think the author did a good job redeeming Sarah as she tells Graham and Sarah's story. I did feel like there were certain things that were unresolved for Sarah though with her parents. She has something happen, but nothing ever gets resolved. I would have liked to have seen some resolution for Sarah with her parents and the issue that comes up. Overall though I thought it was a good story and I continued to love Bryce and Madison in this book as well.

This book was okay. I didn’t love it and I probably wouldn’t recommend it. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special.
We met both Graham and Sarah in the book “Bryce” and I wasn’t fond of either of them. This one had a better rating on goodreads, so I decided to finish Bryce (though I thought about not) and to read this one. It took me a while to read because it did not suck me in.
Maybe if I hadn’t met Graham and Sarah, I would have liked this book better. Since I already harbored negative feelings towards them.
I thought the book left a lot of unanswered questions and finished too quickly. I thought there were unnecessary scenes, yet too little information about bigger plot points.
Overall it wasn’t bad. But I haven’t decided if I am going to continue on with the series (Kyle has the highest rating) or leave it here.

Loved this book. A story of YA's just trying to grow up in a world where some of their parents have not made it easy for them.

An almost a clean romance
** I’ve received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**
So in the name of honesty I must confess I prefer my romance stories to have a little bit more steamy scenes than Graham had; however, I understand the target audience for this book is not as mature as my readers, so that’s not the reason I rated it as four stars. I did so because although the book is good, I wasn’t particularly enthralled and that is my personal way of evaluating a story. That means it’s a totally personal measure that might not be the same for other readers.
Plus, the book has great things going for it. Natalie Decker does a great job of writing in first person POV but from both main characters. I’ve always liked this type of narrative so it was a big positive for me. She also does a great job of bringing in characters from the first book of the series at the same time as she keeps Graham as a stand-alone one. I haven’t read Bryce but it was nice meeting him and Madison and I got curious to read about them. They are very cute together.
As for the main characters, I really liked Graham and I have a close family member just like him so I guess it was quite easy to relate to his drug and alcohol problems. Besides, he’s such a likable character. He’s flawed and quick-tempered; but he’s got a sweet and caring side as well. One of my favorite scenes is when he takes Sarah to his cabin and tell her to break stuff to blow off some steam. Again, for personal reasons, as my mom used to do exactly that when I was growing up. It worked for her and it did for Sarah too.
Now, about Sarah… I liked her most of the time except towards the end of the book. When it hit about 80%, she did make me roll my eyes too often. I won’t give out spoilers here but I just couldn’t understand why she acted the way she did and contradicted a lot of what she had said and done until that point in the story. Also, there were a few conflicting things in the plot there, in my opinion; but one has usually to resort to suspension of disbelief when reading romance books, with which I’m totally fine.
All in all, it was a short but solid story, with interesting main characters and awesome supporting ones. Even the annoying, nosy neighbor. If it weren’t for the swearing, I’d classify this book as a clean romance.

+4 stars

I was really waiting for this book, mostly because I wanted Graham and Sarah's story after what happened between them in the first book, even if I hated her at first. It can be read as a standalone, but we see more of the characters from the first book. And if you already read Bryce, you and me know they have a past, one where he was left with a broken heart the moment she got out of his life, but he moved on... or at least tried to. Now, he's back at home due to... some problems he have made. And it seems the city is too small for them to not bump into each other.

He still cares for her, she does too; despite what happened, what happens and what will happen... their feelings are there; he thinks maybe is because they didn't have the right closured. But love is something no-one can control even Graham who has a serious problem with losing control. She just wants to live her life without the problems her parents left her with, she's moved on and wants it to stay the same. But when she sees Graham, the only guys she's truly fell for, all what she thought and most important, what she felt, are back in the game.

I liked how Sarah seemed to grow-up and finally had her feet on the ground after all what she's been through; in the first book she was a... brat. However, in this book I had certainly esteem for her, and reading her POVs helped a lot. On the other hand, Graham seemed to... be the opposite. But as I said, he still cares for her, and that's what put them together again. Yet, their story is not as easy as it seems, she still has feelings for him, yes, but... she's not really sure about his feelings.

Graham is a swoon, cute and intriguing second chance romance. If you haven't read any of the Scandalous Boys books, which are two so far, if should give them a read, they have sexy boys who have their moments where you can surely swoon for. And I loved how Bryce and Maddie's story ends or continues in this book.

DISCLAIMER: I received a copy of this book in exchange for honest review.

I have not read the other book, but I believe it is safe to say that you can read each book as a stand alone. This book follows Graham, who is mentioned in 'BRYCE' because he was with Maddy for a while before Bryce came into her life.

Right off the bat, you can tell Graham is super fun guy and there is a sense of gentleman in him. However, we do not know this until later. Along with this, we also learn he is still hurting from a broken heart that he is not really over yet.

This is definitely a story about a second chance at love. Sarah broke Graham's heart. She's done horrible things and she wishes she never did them. She's had a tough time with her parents and she resulted to doing these things out of spite. However, Sarah has chosen to change that, especially after what she's done to Graham.

When things get rough and Graham is court-ordered to a suspension from college, he returns home and must stay there for a year. The last person he expects to see in his hometown is Sarah. She should not be here. Graham has bitterness towards Sarah and of course, she knows he hates her for what she did. Here's the thing, even with his heart mangled on the floor, his feelings are trying to sneak their way back in. This is something he cannot allow.

Now, it is semi-predictable that Graham and Sarah will end up together again, but its gonna take a lot for each of them to get passed the hurt and the pain, and take a leap of faith. It is actually Graham who pushes through first, but Sarah is not entirely convinced he means it, because he pushed her away after an intense SURPRISE make-out session. Graham was trying to prove a point.

Graham was a great 4 star read.

Graham finds himself home and attending AA classes due to something that happened during a night of drinking at a college party. He has no recollection of what occurred.
Sarah is working at the supermarket and attending college classes. She is trying to move forward from the past.

When Graham walks into the supermarket Sarah was the last person her expected to see. The past comes rushing back. Sarah is also surprised to see Graham, Why is he here?
Can these two put the past behind them and make things work again?

Promises were something I stopped buying into a while ago.

At times I did feel a little frustrated with the back and forth between these two. Overall it was a great read. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I was happy to see a HEA for these two, at times I had my doubt. Natalie Decker does a great job with her writing. 1-click and get started today.

"Graham's hand presses against my lower back. A thrilling zing and a dance of butterflies shoots through my body. My kin heats instantly, and I swear my cheeks are probably burning red."

3.5 get high stars!!!

Graham is a bad boy and he's not afraid to admit that. He lives to get high and wasted, not to mention bed as many gorgeous blonds as he can. After one night of excessive partying, he's sent back to him hometown... the last place he wants to be. Sarah is bound and determined to leave her past behind, she's doing good and finding her place in life and the last thing she needs is sexy Graham to veer her off course. But that's just what he does....

Overall a pretty good book, not at all what I was expecting, but I was entertained! The characters are fun to read and I loved the backgrounds for both. Not my favorite Natalie Decker book, but it was good!

Sarah and Graham have a past. They were each others' first loves. Then, Sarah did the unforgivable and drove Graham away leaving him heartbroken and jaded. Graham went to college, while Sarah was forced to stay home. They both faced trials in their lives that eventually drives them back into each others' lives. It's not a happy reunion. However, they eventually realize they need each other and they are better when they have each other.

I don't even know where to start with this one. I really, really liked it. It was real and a little angsty. Sarah was a great character - honest, flawed and a little bit selfish. Graham is just...swoon! He is angry and raw, yet you can feel the emotion coursing under the angry exterior. He and Sarah sizzle.

Graham is a great read. Second chance romance with just a little steaminess (I think appropriate for 17+ as sexual situations are implied and not descriptive) and a happily-ever-after that will make you smile.

(This can be read as a standalone, but it does include characters from book 1 - Bryce.)

I give this book 4 hearts

I really enjoyed this book. Sarah and Graham have a history they were each others first love, but she broke his heart. ( There is more to it that you will find out since things are rarely as simple as they at first seem)
Now fate has thrown them back together in their small town and they just keep running into each other. Neither person has had a perfect life, they have had trials and tribulations but they have come through the better. They are growing up and though they both have strong personalities that can make a relationship difficult they come to realize life is simply better when they are together.
I loved how real the characters are Sarah isn't perfect and she doesn't try to be, she has insecurities and she's a little selfish but she's also sassy and courageous all of it it makes her much more human.
Graham well he's that antsy, angry bit of a bad boy that makes at least me weak in the knees.
Best of all a HEA that will leave you smiling.

I wasn’t excited about reading Sarah’s story at first, since I didn’t like her in “Bryce”. But the author did a good job turning her around and making it so I enjoyed this book. I have it five stars because I really didn’t think I would like her story at all, but once I got going I could not stop. I also love when authors bring the first couple back and provide details of what is going on with them.

Again with this second story of the trilogy, the series title doesn’t match the story. The male lead was actually the very likable, sweet character, while the female lead was horrible most of the time. To everyone. Just like she was in most of the first book. She was very unlikable and I just didn’t feel much chemistry between the two because of the so much off and on of their “relationship”. They tell each other how much they love each other a million times but for some reason won’t just be together. Just not a great read.
I’m writing this one after I’ve already read most of the 3rd book. “Kyle”. So far I’d say it’s the best. It’s actually got a story to it with some fun events with all the characters we’ve met along the way. The story between Kyle and his heroine is a little off and on like the rest, but it’s not as much running for weeks or months like the rest. So if you’re debating on reading the third one, do it. Finish the series. Have a little more fun with that last book.

This series Scandalous Boys by Natalie Decker is three books about three different boys and their rough sides. The series is a little bit on the rougher side but still entertaining.
