This is my first book by Cara Wylde and won't be my last. If you are a fan of shift romance that has an incredible story-line and great characters, Bear Unbound is just the book for you. Filled with drama, suspense, betrayal, adventure, second chances, romance, which all leads to love and a HEA.

I couldn't wait to read 'Bear Unbound' book 1 in Cara's new series "Shift Your Fate", continuing off where 'Carpathian Wolf' (currently found in the "Alpha Shifters After Dark" anthology) left us. Amber & Ava have arrived at Becca's place in New York, Becca take's Amber to see Kassandra, where Amber is told to call an old friend.... She still has his number in her phone, not sure what his repsonse in, she finds herself surprised when he answers & the met up for dinner. But Amber's marriage is full of so many secrets she still has learn about, can she cope?? Tyler is happily surprised when Amber messages him, he can't wait to finally see her in person, losing contact with Amber when she married Stephan Castell, when he finds out how little Amber knows about the secrets her husband is keeping he draws on his bear & knowledge to tell her.
Oh my, this was delicious, I can't wait to read what happens next in the "Shift Your Fate" series.

Great Start in this series!! I love Tyler Atwood and the heroine, Amber. There is hot Sizzling passion, intrigue, suspense and love.
Amber is running with her daughter away from her husband. She goes to N.Y. She has suffered a lot in her 10 year marriage and also looks like she has. Her best friend and her BFF's husband help her out. She gets advice from an empathy who tells her to seek out another friend who she has forgotten about. When she does things change.
Tyler Atwood is a graphic designer by day and a hacker by night, but he is also a bear shifter, who has been living in hiding in plain sight as a human. He is so surprised when a voice from his past contacts him. He assumed he had lost her forever, but fate has a way to come around.
Danger lurks around these two, but hopefully fate will have a way to intervene.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely loved this storyline. The characters are intense and the plot is exciting and page turning. I am anxious to learn about Tristan and his pride. Also wondering what will happen with Ava as she grows older since her father was an assassin and it is in her blood. Also wondering if she will be turned also. Can't wait for this series to continue!!

I am going to love this series. This is a great short read. They writing was excellent and flowed nicely. The character develop was right on mark for a short read. I loved see how this couple over came and the heroine was a perfect kind of sassy. I can't wait to read more books in this series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Wow another great read by Cara! The beginning was rough for me, because I always try to see what's happening through the characters eyes, but this story just had me off beat. I caught into it. So now I have so many questions because there were so many openings to the plot. Ugh! So frustrating... what happens next I gotta know!

The book isn't bad, but it didn't wow me either. The editing is clean: no glaring errors that I can remember. The story's a little heavy on the information dumps. The heroine spends too much time wallowing in self-pity. The hero is almost too sweet. The plot takes an unexpected and clumsy turn or two that feels more like a lack of discipline and less like tight plotting. The author tries to build some tension among secondary characters in preparation for what one assumes will be a another book in the series, but doesn't quite succeed. I do appreciate that the author understands the difference between a series and a serial.

What a great story. This was such a fresh story line. The suspense of the story line kept you focused and wanting to keep reading to find out what was going to happen.Amber became so much stronger in the story then she was at the very beginning it was nice to see her become herself again with the help of friends. The shifter aspect of the book takes on a new twist with them being so secretive and having to hide from the enemy. I enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading the next one in the series I did like the epilogue since it focused on Ava I am hoping that someday in the future she will have her own book.

Amber was as strong woman who just wanted to be treated right and loved by a man who would love her back. She always felt a connection to Tyler but couldn't explain it.
Tyler is patient man, he gets a second chance with Amber and he's not going to screw it up this time. He knows what he is dealing with and just how high the stakes are.

Fantastically Fascinating
Cara has done it again! What an awesome story, I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down once I started. As always the storyline and cast are fantastically amazing! I enjoyed the immense emotions each character had throughout the story. Each scene was described so vividly it felt as if I were right beside each character. I laughed, cried, smiled, panicked as well as about screamed throughout reading. It is amazingly written. I wholeheartedly recommend reading this book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be reading it again as well as the other books in this series and other books Cara has and will write, she is very talented at making you feel like you're part of the story and making you want to continue to turn each page.

Amber, who popped up briefly in the introductory book is back. She is married to Stephan Castell, who is a misogynistic, cheating scumbag. She finally gets up the gumption to leave him and flees to New York with their daughter Ava. She is staying with Rebecca and Emil (from book 1) whilst she figures out what to do. Becca takes Amber to see Kassandra who reminds her that she is not alone in New York, she does a forgotten friend.
Enter Tyler. All around nice guy and bear shifter. He lost touch with Amber when she announced her engagement to said scumbag but he always felt he should have declared his love for her and just what he knew about Castell activities. But now he has a second chance with Amber when she gets in contact and the leap into an adventure and romance. But will he be able to protect Amber and Ava from the reach of the Castells? Will they find out why Amber keeps having weird symptoms? Will the Order of the Severin finally expand with the addition of some other shifter allies?
I really enjoyed Rebecca and Emils story so was looking forward to this and wan't disappointed. I did wish for a bit more backstory between Tyler and Amber, maybe as a prologue but other than that the story itself was great. The pace is fast and the characters are lovable. Ambers character was very believable as an emotionally abused wife! Hopefully the next book in the Shift Your Fate series will allow us to see who things develop between the characters we have so far met and new characters.

Amber is ready to reclaim her life, and move on with her life. While visiting her friend in New York she get some advice and looks up an old friend. Tyler lost touch with Amber 10 years ago, and is thrilled to have a second chance.
Wow...so much going on, I don't know where to start. I am glad things worked out, but have so many questions....can't wait to see what happens next.

This is really an interesting book I was on the edge of my seat because there's Betrayal, Kidnapping, Adventure, Witches, Shifter Blood then you have the Assassins’ Guild, a secret society who hate the supernaturals , then you have Order of the Severins who are shifter getting together.
Amber Castells left her husband of 10 years because she found out he's cheating but the worst thing is he's been cheating for 10 years and he says he doesn't love her hasn't ever loved her, so she left went to New York City to her newlywed friend Rebecca's place.
Amber wanted to divorce! He said no!
Tyler Atwood works in New York, as a graphic designer, plus he's a Bear Shifter. This is really an interesting book I was on the edge of my seat because there's Betrayal, Kidnapping, Adventure, Witches, Shifter Blood then you have the Assassins’ Guild, a secret society who hate the supernaturals , then you have Order of the Severins who are shifter getting together.
Amber Castells left her husband of 10 years because she found out he's cheating but the worst thing is he's been cheating for 10 years and he says he doesn't love her hasn't ever loved her, so she left went to New York City to her newlywed friend Rebecca's place.
Amber wanted to divorce! He said no!
Tyler Atwood works in New York, as a graphic designer, plus he's a Bear Shifter. He knew Amber 14 years ago they were online friends very close friends they talked all the time constantly during the day for four years but then Amber got married, Tyler wanted to tell her he knew what her husband to be was, at the time but he had to make a choice either tell her or leave her alone he did the second one Now Amber was back in him life, he's never letting her go. But will Stephen divorce her? I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

I'll start by saying that I received this book as an ARC for free in exchange for an honest review. I also want to mention that this is my first time reading anything by Cara Wylde and I have to say that I like it a lot! I am looking forward to reading more by her.
So the story itself, at first I was a little lost about Rebecca and Emil since I haven't read their story. I'd like to say that it doesn't matter, but I think it does because you understand Emil's role in this story. I hope to sit down and read their story soon.
Bear Unbound is a quick read, I was shocked at how fast I was able to read it. Although this is Tyler and Amber's story I sort of wish that Cara had given some background information between Amber and Tyler from 10 years ago because I was lost about how Tyler knew things about Amber's husband. I would've liked to know more information about Stephan and his family and his role in the Assassins' Guild too.
I did like the fact that Amber and Tyler do get their happily ever after and even her daughter Ava seemed to accept Tyler and it appeared that they were all getting along as one big happy family.
The additional stories that accompanied this book I haven't read yet, but they aren't relevant to the story.

Amber is ready to reclaim her freedom after discovering her husband has been cheating on her for years and expects her to accept it. She takes her 8 year old daughter with her, but hides what is happening from her. She moves in with Rebecca and Emil. Rebecca has her visit with the empath, Kassandra. Tyler Atwood lost contact with Amber ten years ago, when she married Stephan Castell. He made the choice to let his mate go and marry a monster instead of taking a chance and telling her the truth about the horrors Stephan inflicts on the world. Obviously, there would have been no story without Tyler letting her go, but he could have tried to tell her something and her be disbelieving instead of him backing away completely. Amber is a mouse and is afraid to stand up for herself. I realize it is emotional abuse and she believed Stephan telling her she is worthless, but frustrating all the same. We meet Tristan, a lion shifter with a pride still, but the interactions with him were aggravating.

This storyline is incredible!. The characters are awesome. I am so glad I received a copy of this book because it was just so exciting to read!.
Amber was in Romania with she met Rebecca who became a dear friend very fast. When Amber finds out her husband has been cheating on her for years. She turns to Rebecca aka Becca for help. Becca has Amber and her daughter Ava come stay with her and her husband Emil in New York. Becca sees Amber is depressed so she has her go see an empath that help Becca find her true love. The Lady tells Amber to get in touch with a very close friend Tyler. Tyler and Amber had been very close till Ava was born. Tyler had been in love with Amber even though they had never met in person. Will this be Tyler's second chance to win Ambers love?. Can he protect them from Amber's ex.?.
You will fall in love with this super exciting, funny, suspenseful, and scorching hot Romance!.

Amber is taking her daughter,getting a divorce after finding out her husband has been cheating their entire marriage and staying as far from his family and all of their strange rules However her best friend takes her to see an empath at Shift Your Fate she tells her she needs to look to her past to find the person to make her happy and that would be to contact Tyler Atwood. They had been internet and telephone friends until her marriage and then the communication ceased. Tyler Atwood is a gorgeous were-bear who had the chance to tell Amber the trust about her husband to be or just step aside which he did, however he is more than happy to receive a call from Amber and now he wants the chance to protect her and make her happy. The man and bear are both in agreement they just have to convince Amber. The characters are so engaging and the story line is exciting,suspenseful, funny, and has extremely sizzling hot romance.

This is a very different bear changer book than I am used to seeing, but different does not mean wrong or bad, it just added some unusual aspects to the story. Even though there are lots of unanswered questions, that is ok, because I think those questions will get answered in the next books in this series. Even with these questions, this book still has an ending for Amber and Tyler. This book is a wonderful love story between a bear shifter and his mate, but things do not go smoothly for them. Can a lion, wolf, and bear shifter all work together to save the shifters from this assassin group? I do recommend this book. It really keeps your attention, so you do not want to put it down.

Beautiful, curvy Amber is done and I mean done like stick a pitch fork in it done with her husbands lies and her weird family's rules so she leaves
with her 8 year old daughter and says she will stay away from men for good. Her best friend Kassandra has different ideas. Tyler Atwood loved her a long time ago and had not seen Amber for 10 years he had chose to make and he made the wrong one it is a fantastic read you will love it fast past and you are cheering for the bear lol have fun Michelle N Mclain

I received this book for an honest review. This is a review for the main story only, I'll update when I have time to read the bonus stories.
This is a great paranormal story of shifters and a secret society of assassins that have hunted them down over the centuries. The main focus in this tale is on were animals with some help from witches. Amber is married to a man from this society and she's had no idea for 10 years. Her long time friend is a were bear which she didn't know but runs to as her marriage falls apart.
There is drama , kidnapping, death and love all wrapped up in this tale. It was fast paced and had a HEA. I highly recommend this for lovers of paranormal.

I absolutely loved Bear Unbound by Cara Wylde. After reading Carpathian Wolf in the Alpha Shifters After Dark box set I could wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved Amber and I was hoping she would get the life she deserved.
I was so happy when Taylor came back into Amber's life. I only wished that Amber didn't have to go through everything that Stephen did to her and Ava. I felt Amber and Taylor were a perfectly matched in every way. I so excited and couldn't wait to finish the book to see where the story would go. I also loved seeing how Taylor was with Ava.
I cant wait to read more from this series
