It's like a dream come true! This week's Mystery Guest at Camp Rock n' Roll is Ashley's all-time favorite group, 4You! 4You will be choosing campers to mentor for the end-of-the-summer showcase. Ashley wants to be chosen -- but so does Madison, the lead singer in the rival band. Can Ashley find a way to sing with the most popular group in the world? Mary-Kate loves jamming with her band -- they've all become great friends, and her new boyfriend is even part of the group. Then a record industry executive stops by camp and tells Mary-Kate that she has real talent -- but her band is not as good as she is. He tells her to find a new band before he comes back for the showcase and he can make her a star. Will Mary-Kate dump her friends for the promise of fame?
The description of this novel is actually incorrect. It's 1am so I'll look at I in more depth tomorrow/today (if I remember) but Ashley is dealing with a problem as her new friendship with Erin caused problems with Phoebe and a competing band seems to have taken a disliking to them, and Mary-Kate is facing a friends vs. fame dilemma as she tries to help Lark's relationship with her father at the expense of doing a TV special with him.
I’m used to (and understand) the inconsistencies in this series, especially when there are several different authors writing books for it, but how does this two-part plot with both books written by the same author still have inconsistencies? In part 1, the girls were playing soccer, but in this one it’s football.
I used to wish I could go to a camp growing up, but a music one really sounds fun. I am so glad Phoebe came back. Rod and lark found something fun to do together. and in the end it worked out how it was meant to, even with them girls doing things to get in the way.
