A book from an author i have never heard of and no rating. I'm so glad i stumbled across this gem. I loved the writing, loved the story.

Jeremy is the archangel of death. He is in love with his brother's wife, after recovering the memory that was stolen from him as a punishment to his father Raphael. He goes to earth, trying to distance his self from Naomi , his brother's wife, and meets a lovely family until disaster struck and he had to leave.

I was a little bit confused with all that because i felt i was being thrust mid-conversation. I guess all this was mentioned in the previous books.

I enjoyed it and as much as i hate cliffhangers/series/to be continued or whatever you call this ending, i would be waiting to read the rest of Jeremy's journey, i hope he goes back and meets Lehalni.

Have you ever fallen so in love with a character that you wished that the author would write a book for him? I'm sure you did! We are all bookworms after all and these characters are the reason we not only read a story, we live it! I have been in love with Jeremy since the moment he was introduced in the Broken Angel series. His story is told in the fourth installment of the Broken Angel series. I highly suggest you read the previous books in this series because everything will make so much more sense. His story needed to be written and L.G. Castillo did a phenomenal job with his story. It's intense, full of surprises and it will keep you at the edge of your seat until you read the very last word.

It's difficult to review this book without giving anything away from the previous books. For me, this series is definitely made to be read in order and you will experience all the feels if you follow Jeremy's journey from the beginning. This is not your typical paranormal romance book. There is a love story intertwined in this book, but it does not follow the pattern of a regular love story. I know it might not make sense now, but once you start reading Jeremy's journey it will. As the Archangel of Death, Jeremy life journey as never been easy. In this book, loyalties will be tested, bonds will be broken and decisions will be made that will change his status in heaven. Evil is always lurking in the shadows and temptation has never been so irresistible. How will Jeremy's life change with every decision that he takes?

I have been waiting for two years to read this book. L.G. Castillo took her time and wrote a book that exceeded all of my expectations! I have to admit that I was expecting a different kind of story, but I know that the author wrote it this way because that is how Jeremy's journey is supposed to unfold. Always expect the unexpected when it comes to a book written by L.G. Castillo. When you think you know where the story is heading, she totally surprises you with a major twist.

My heart filled with joy when I finally reunited with my beloved characters that I have missed so much. Naomi, Lash, Welita and all the wonderful characters that have made this series an unforgettable one. This book, in my opinion, is the most emotional one yet. I can't even begin to tell you how many times my eyes filled with tears. I had a huge ball of emotions stuck in my throat for a good part of the book. I found myself screaming ''Nooooooooooo!!!!'' a couple of times while reading Jeremy's story.

I also met two new characters that have stolen my heart. I hope and pray that it will not be the last I see of them. They absolutely NEED to be in the next book!!!! I can't imagine Jeremy's story without them! This book ends in a major cliffhanger that left me breathless!!! I'm praying to the book Gods that time will fly in "angel time" and not in "human time" before we get the next installment. The conclusion to Jeremy's journey will be EPIC! I can feel it! L.G. Castillo always delivers a reading escape that lingers with you even if the last page has been turned. I can't wait to read what is next!

I give, Jeremy, by L.G. Castillo, 5 heart-pumping, thrilling, forbidden, emotional stars!

Jeremy
LG Castillo

After reading the first three books in the Broken Angel series, I was delighted to hear of two more installments being written. Jeremy is the first of this, focusing on Lash’s half-brother Jeremy, the Archangel of Death. While I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Lash and Naomi, I was excited to be given a glimpse into Jeremy’s mind. This anticipation grew even more after Before The Fall, as we learned about the complicated and painful history of the main characters. I’m not sure what I was expecting with this book, but LG Castillo sure threw me for a loop.

Jeremy is desperately in love with Naomi, but he can’t have her. Not only does she not return his feelings, but she loves his brother Lash. Faced with unrequited love and not wanting to betray his brother, he finds an unexpected kindred spirit in Gabrielle, who allows him an extended stay on earth to hopefully learn how to deal with his feelings.

I enjoyed reading about Jeremy’s time in Hawaii, befriending a local teenage girl, Leilani, and her younger brother. Leilani is a feisty young girl who develops a crush on Jeremy while she teaches him how to surf. The lightheartedness of those scenes, offering a break from his inner struggles, provides a nice contrast to the tragedy they are faced with.

Eventually, Jeremy returns home, where he is appointed a task that will break everyone’s heart. By following his orders, he risks the strenuous relationship with his brother and his wife, but there is really no way out of it. The actual scene is very emotional, so keep tissues nearby. The book ends with a dramatic cliffhanger that has me anxious for the fifth book, Golden Angel.

Fun fact: LG Castillo consulted me on the surfing portions of the story, so she also mentioned me in the acknowledgements. Fan girl moment!

I thought Before the fall was the last book in this series so I was super excited to find out that she plans to write two more. I loved Jeremy in Lash’s books and I was over the moon that he was getting his own book. I couldn’t wait to get into Jeremy’s story and see what is going on with the rest of those crazy angels in this book. The story starts off about where the last book ended and of course LG. Castillo had all the heartbreaking moments you expect to be in her books. I love Jeremy and it was great to see Lash and Naomi again. Jeremy is going through a lot in this book and by the end I was once again shocked and eager to read the next book.

I was a little all over the place with this book. I had some issues with a few parts. Jeremy is over the top in love with Naomi and after reading Before the fall I totally understand it, it just got frustrating after a while because I really want Jeremy to be happy and find someone that will love him. The thing I liked the most about this book was seeing the backlash with Lash after he returns to heaven in Jeremy’s POV. I also LOVED Jeremy’s side story, when he spend some time in Hawaii. You are introduced to Leilani and Sammy, I really liked these two especially Leilani, she is a spitfire that girl. I enjoyed this story and I hope it is explored or revisited in the next book. The story was heartbreaking about these two and it really gives you a human look at Jeremy.

Overall I really loved this book, Jeremy had all the emotions and feels of a great book. The end pulled at my heart strings and I really cannot wait to read the next book. Once again L.G. Castillo has written a heartfelt story with so much emotion and heart. She has an amazing way of telling a fantastic story.

Be careful when an angel falls in love

When past and present mingle, but the agony of feeling unrequited becomes more painful each day...

Jeremy is the Archangel of Death, powerful and feared, he always made what was demanded.
Until new revelations - with his memory restored - remembered a time when he fell deeply in love for a special woman.
The problem that this same woman was there next to him, but he couldn't have her. And he had to quickly learn to live with her but not touch her.

However, some new discoveries are made.
Jeremy sees only one single alternative: leave and stay away until he learns to deal with that feeling.
Despite his sacrifice to killing a powerful enemy, another as powerful as is emerging.
Will Jeremy could keep away the woman he loves and not betray his best friend and brother? And will he not decide to switch sides and become a new fallen angel?

I admit it was hard to follow all that purgatory by which Jeremy faces. He loves a woman deeply - not only in this life but in earlier, but she's not for him. His internal struggle to do the right thing is great, and he seeks alternatives to not fall into temptation.
Meanwhile a new enemy appears and the angels must do their job, even if it hurts one person or another.
I didn't like Naomi's behavior with Jeremy. In my point of view, in a way, she tries to manipulate the feeling that she knows he has for her. But Jeremy is a strong character, complex and exciting.
I want to know exactly how this story ends. Will we we have a HEA?

Great plot, good pace and well known characters, but there's a cliffhanger.

The End, everything comes crashing down. Its not looking good for the home team at all. The people who helped Jeremy find himself again sigh things are currently very hard for them. His enemy has a plan up his sleeve and he has to figure out what that is before his family pays a price. Now, for the state of current affairs. Rather than moving closer to mending his heart an assignment will ensure that impossibility. I will say Castillo is shockingly cleaver when it comes to the HEA and I look forward to seeing how she manages this one. I have certain wishes involving certain surfers and the flow of time in heaven. Insert overly exaggerated winky face here ___.

My Rating
5.0 Heaven, Dreams, Kiss, Hall, Candles, Island, Shack, Waves, Surfboard, Fire, Uri, Assignment, Welita, Confrontation, Rage, Promise, Determined to keep everyone safe, the love of family is stronger than everything and Jeremy will do anything to protect that filled stars!!!

1 day. It took me 1 day to read this. Why? Because it was THAT good. I don't mean good. I mean GOOD! I've been a fan of this series since day 1. And I really thought after the fall it was over. That the stories of Lash Jeremy Naomi Welita were over. But LG Castillo surprised me by writing #4!!!! And oh boy am I so happy she did.
Jeremy has always been one of my favorites. He stands right next to Lash for me. Brothers. Friends. Angels.
His love and devotion to Lash and Naomi is unstoppable. But what happens when that love for Naomi is too strong for him to handle????
Gabrielle feels his pain as she too knows what it's like to love someone and not be able to be with them.
This story made my heart melt. Made my eyes water. Make me smile. Everything this series has always done. Thank you Ms Castillo for bringing this family back to us
#5 is on its way?!?!?!

Sometimes there is a character that you love so much you just cannot wait to see if their story will be told. Jeremy was definitely one of those types of characters and I was so excited to see that the series did not end as anticipated. If you have not read the previous books I most certainly recommend reading them first.

Jeremy is too amazing and I enjoyed seeing certain scenes from his perspective but also seen his story continued. Bring on the tissues cause this is definitely an emotional read and when you get to the ending just remember....the next book is on the way!

I read this book in one sitting and there's not much more I can say about it without giving too much away! Great great great read!
