Richard Lewis is Chair of Marist College’s Department of Art and Digital Media and the academic coordinator of their branch campus in Florence, Italy. He is also a former Dean of Academic Programs. He is a practicing artist, whose work combines digital and traditional media, and also the author of The Power of Art (2019), now in its third revised edition, an art appreciation textbook used in over 300 colleges and universities.

Some of the chapters provided real insight or information I enjoyed.
Other chapters were physically painful to read.

This is the textbook from my art history class at Interior Designer's Institute. I fell in love with art, especially Impressionism, through this book and class.
