The Alpha's Human Werewolves don't exist, Cade Forrest is straight, and Kyle Bennet doesn't do random hook-ups. These are the facts as Kyle knows them. When Cade, Kyle's old high school crush, struts up to him in the gym--with his big muscles, cocky attitude and a bulge in his shorts that verges on the obscene--the facts as Kyle knows them just might have to be reconsidered...
Cade has known that Kyle is his mate since they were in high school, back when he was in the closet and his reputation meant more to him than making his wolf happy. Now he's both older and wiser, and when he unexpectedly runs into his mate at the gym--weeks before he'd intended to make his move--his wolf takes over and demands that he finally lay claim to what is his...
The Alpha's Incubus (The Alpha's Human Book 2) Kyle sometimes has to pinch himself, he’s so happy. Life with his alpha is perfect. Cade is hot like burning, playfully dominant, and the way his face lights up when he looks at Kyle makes Kyle’s heart feel like it’s going to burst. He should have known it was too good to last. When disaster strikes, Kyle finds that his wonderful dream has turned into a nightmare--and he can’t tell Cade.
Cade would do anything for his mate. Whether that be fighting off a rival wolf or wearing a button down shirt to meet the parents, Cade is on board. All he wants is for Kyle to be happy. But being willing to do anything for your mate is of little use when you don’t know that your mate needs help. Will Cade realize that Kyle needs him before it’s too late?
This volume contains the first two books in the Alpha's Human Series. They feature a cute accountant and a dominant alpha werewolf who wants nothing more than to claim, love and cherish him forever.
Hello, my name is D.J. Heart. I write erotic gay fiction, usually with a bdsm twist, featuring dominant gay men and the twinks who love them. I hope you all enjoy my stories!

I have read alot of D.J Heart but this has to be the best one. It really was an erotic romance with a HEA. It was nothing as dark as the others but I loved it.
Lmao. The only reason this gets one star is because of the amount of times I laughed at the sheer absurdity of this book. I'm not sure how or why I finished this book, but here we are.
What killed this book for me, aside from the fact that there was almost no plot beyond the MC's having sex every two seconds, was Cade (who I begrudgingly admit does get better towards the end, as does Kyle. But still).
Look. You can't be an alpha if you, self admittedly by the way, are a lazy, spoiled, frat boy douche bag slob that would rather play video games and hang out with his friends all the time than work and try to actually resemble a grown up. Doesn't matter how hard your pecs are.
There is not a damn thing appealing about that. Sorry. There is a fine line between alpha and douche bag, and between submissive and doormat. These characters start on the wrong side of that line, and even though Kyle does eventually grow a spine it's just not enough to save this. I wish I could delete the beginning of this book from my mind. Or maybe just all of it.
The Alpha’s Human is a standalone book featuring a lot of D.J. Heart’s classic tropes: werewolves, dominant alphas, submissive bottoms, possessiveness, rough sex, intense and diverse kinks, D/s play, and toeing the line of dubious consent. These tropes are not for everyone and I highly suggest reading a sample of the book before deciding if it’s for you.
The Alpha’s Human started off as a serial story that D.J. Heart compiled into one book. He also wrote the direct sequel, The Alpha’s Succubus, and then merged both novels into one book. This was great for me as a reader since I was able to devour this book without any breaks. The storyline is pretty basic: an alpha werewolf finds his human mate and introduces him to pack life while outside forces try to break them up. What makes this book so wonderful is the characters and how incredibly hot and sexy they are. This book is packed full of delicious and diverse erotic moments that sizzle on the page. There was never a boring moment in the book, and each chapter had a new sexy treat for the reader. I highly recommend this book.
I feel like I missed something. Perhaps the story isn't over? There was so much talk about Kyles transformation into a Incubus that his induction into the clan should have been described. It's fiction for a reason, make the stuff up if you have to! 3.5 stars mainly because Cade was a bit of an ass to Kyle. My opinion, you don't have to agree!
This book is Awesome! I loved the hot main character that was mated to the accountant. Their hot and intense relationship, the drama, the laughter. This is my favorite go to book.
Alpha finds his mate and makes him his omega.. Lots of sex I mean a lot . The omega wants it hot and dirty living his fantasy but lot of intrigue in it too
Made it about halfway through first book. Cade has known Kyle was his mate since high school, but was in the closet, so he never did anything about it then. When they meet again several years later, instead of treasuring Kyle like he should, he treats him like a slave/sex toy and mates him w/o asking. He seemed to have zero respect for Kyle, and so I stopped.
I really enjoyed the writing of D.J. He has a way that made it very hard to stop at the end of a chapter and continue until the next day. I missed a lot of sleep by being draw into the story of these two. It was worth the loss though!
Blurb reads very sweet and caring, but his mate is dom / sub relationship. If he's not being treated like trash from mate then his mates friends are trying to harm him.
Loved both books. They kept me on the edge of my seat, especially when Kyle was under the spell of the witch and could not remember what it was he needed to tell his Alpha was wrong with him. I was also very upset that his Alpha refused to believe that his friend Mark really did not like Kyle or any of his friends from high school really thought that Kyle was beneath the Alpha.
