Still feel like Rose is a bit whiny and protests way too much. Love Noose though. Is character is so real and the emotions and thought process, believable. I can’t wait to read more Road Kill stories.
What can I say A Stunning Conclusion - A fast paced ending that knocks your socks off.
This trilogy was completely addictive I want to go back and reread the whole story all at once, to revisit these amazing characters and relive their story again and again.
I loved Noose's vulnerability and Rose's heart. And their blazing sex life keeps your interest and your heart racing.
Drake/Diablo the uber villain makes his heinous appearance with a nice knotty twist to keep you all a guessing. LOVED THAT!!!!!
All up a BRILLIANT ending to a really amazing series I enjoyed every minute. Loved the Epilogue!!!! HELL YEAH I WANT MORE!!!!!
Also a shout out must go to Willsin Rowe for the cover art its amazing I loved each cover individually and it was worth breaking up the story just for the covers even though the writing is amazing and I love the author - kudos.
I was in serious need of an MC book to read. I've taken a few days only reading sweet books but the need to get a wild story was super high. As you know, I freaking love MC books and I've read my fair share of them. All stellar books, and I really enjoyed reading them. Then, this new series appeared and I knew that I was taking a huge leap because it was a new duo. Duo as in new author and new series. But I took the risk and Dayum. Marata Eros is, like I said, a new author to me and I'll be following her. Her writing is appealing and intense. Noose is the first book from the Road Kill MC series and explores the lives of Noose and Rose. Noose is one of the brothers of the Road Kill MC. He's an ex Navy Seal and after leaving the Navy he joined the club. He's a one night stand kind of guy but one look at Rose and... Rose is well familiar with death. Murder to be exact. After her sister's being murdered, she was left with her nephew to raise as her own. She thought that they were safe until... Oh boy... I really needed this... I really did. Great plot, well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop reading it. Things were happening in a way that I saw myself reading good non stop. I simply couldn't stop reading. There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly, but then there were others that I wanted to hold them and promise better days. Guys, the dark cloud that surrounded this book was so thick... So thick. This book gives us betrayal, crime, madness, abuse, punishment as well as love, desire, family bonds and loyalty. It was perfect and I wanted more. Now I'm eager to know every member of this MC. Great book Marata. Loved it.
**I read this book as part of a boxset so I am leaving the full review to the conclusion of Noose and Rose here** I have read a handful of MC books and only finished one series because it was SciFi romance, otherwise I wouldn't have finished it. MC books don't really hold my interest but I was curious about this series since the boxset was on sale. I've been hooked for about a week now and all I seem to think about are these lethal powerful addicting male characters. In this first book Noose and Rose make a sizzling pair, with an insta-magnetic pull. But there was a scene I was not fond of at all because it was cheating in my eyes. Rose seems to overlook it rather fast and I think that is what bothered me more than the actions of Noose. However the story is well written and really hooks you to the Road Kill world. I am just hoping that there are no more 'cheating' scenes because I will lose interest fast. After reading 3 full books I am still intrigued and those steamy scenes really keep you wanting more.
That nasty Drake has some horrible plans for Rose. He wants another woman to abuse, and that woman is Rose. Just like the second book in this series, this one contains triggers. If you are sensitive to these types of things, this may not be the series for you. After reading this series, it is obvious that Marata Eros saved the best for last. The last book touches on a lot of emotions. Noose ends up claiming Rose, and he spends his time trying to gain her trust. Awesome series that everyone should reaad!
The final book in the Noose and Rose story is by far the best and will have you totally gripped and sitting on the edge of your seat. Their story is unpredictable, captivating, gritty and packed full of raw passion. These first three books in the Road Kill MC series have me addicted to this author who is new to me and will have me going back for more one clicking of this series.
This was a good story. it's been a while since I listened to the last book in the series so it took a minute for me to catch up. I was surprised about her boss, but not tye overall storyline. That was foreshadowed from the beginning when Rose spoke about Noose. The narrator was decent but flat. There just wasn't enough energy in her performance.
If all this happened in one week of my life I’d take the kid and leave town lol. So much drama, barely any time for it to happen. I won’t be continuing but I didn’t hate the books, just don’t really want any more.
Much better but it still sucked! I mean really all this crap happened in one freakin week. 🤷🏽♀️ at least Noose was a little less dickish! I still didn’t care for Rose 🤦🏾♀️but the most important part is that I now know how it ended and I’ll never have to read about or think about this book again!
Rating for first 3 books. Didn't care for Noose. He gets a bj by the clubwhore shortly after rescuing Rose from being assaulted. He couldn't comprehend Rose might need a little time to adjust after being forced by another mc. Not a guy I'd want to have feelings with.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Really loved the characters and the storyline. This series is short and the first 3 books must be read together. Its Insta love ❤️ with a bit of drama but with a HEA
Loved Noose and Rose's story. 3 short books with 2 abrupt endings was a major pain in the ass. They could have been written into one book and that's my only complaint.
Loved this one just as much if not more than the other 2. Cant wait to get my hands on the rest of these and learn more about the rest of the club. I would read these again without hesitation!
This book does contain triggers, so if you are sensitive you may want to skip this read. Also, it must be said that this book is not a standalone. If you don't read Noose first you'll be stepping into a million questions.
This final installment of Rose and Noose's story touches on so many emotions I'm still reeling. Noose claims Rose and then spends the majority of this story trying to fully win her over. She loves him but is afraid to believe in her feelings, to really trust them. Not to mention she's dealing with Diablo/Drake winning visitation with Charlie and her parents disowning her if she chooses to pursue her feelings for Noose. One big emotional mess I tell you.
As promised we get the happily ever after this couple deserves, but it was a hard road to get there.
What do you get when you take a hard-core ex-Seal biker named Noose who is the epitome of a one percenter, hell he IS THE One Percenter, who after one glance is so taken by the hot banker girl named Rose - who is definitely in the 99% side of things – well you get this NOOSETACULAR story that held me from the cover of the first part until well after I had finished reading this last part!!! I had myself in knots trying to figure out which direction to go in for this review. Do I focus on the happy side? Do I emphasize the raw, gritty, harsh sides... again? Or should I - CAN I - do a combination of the two? Yes the same tense, intense, no holds barred aspect is still there, but it seems different. Maybe because I know that there is a HEA at the end of this Rainbow Rose. Maybe because the story becomes that much more amped up, more deeper and with feelings actually being a part of this. Maybe because I have gotten used to the language, the biker way of life. Or maybe it's because just like Rose, I have realized that there is so much more to live for, to gain by it all, and because I too, was also snugly roped in by Noose! I was wound so tight throughout this whole story, but this last part… it pulled feelings out of me that I didn’t even know I had! I lost count just how many times I cried, not just cried, but gut-wrenchingly bawled! Of course, there was a helluva lot more going on than just tears – happy & sad, I might add - but I can’t go into those without spoilers slipping the noose, you know what I mean? wink I think the very fact that I wanted to, couldn't wait, to read this series, a book so outside of my favored/preferred genre & comfort zone, speaks volumes about Marata!! She is so phenomenally talented with an obvious gift to create these ROSETASTIC stories that suck me in so deep, that touch me soul deep, that have me living the story with the characters and leave me wanting for nothing! Well except for a vampire or two. wink
When we left off, Rose told Noose to walk -- only for her to find herself in a sticky situation, one she knows without a doubt Noose would help her out of... if only she didn't tell him 'no.'
It was easy to forget that the timeline for these stories was literally a week. The drama, the angst, the emotion, the growth... they simply filled the pages to the point you forgot the timeline -- at least, you forgot until someone pointed it out to either Rose or Noose. And while Rose has trouble with that settling in her gut, Noose's reactions to it are the best.
The Noose we get at the beginning of this book is different than the one we get even hours later. He doesn't seem to understand the true gist of a relationship; he doesn't see why what he did was wrong. He does learn though.
I enjoyed this part to their story. There were some descriptions or plays on words that were lost on me, and the overuse of corny erotic lines had me rolling my eyes, but the story itself was lovely. I truly enjoyed Noose and Rose's story, and their epilogue was definitely a keeper.
The next book is titled Snare -- which consists of a noose, so it begs the question... What else will this couple go through? Especially with the timing we're left off at...
Rose, the third installment in the Road Kill MC series, is the ending to Rose and Noose’s story. Rose has experienced quite a bit in the two previous story and this story doesn’t slow down at all. Picking up where Knot ended and barreling its way through to the ending we all want, but didn’t realize we needed until it happened.
Noose steps up and claims Rose. She doesn’t like the MC life, but she knows she’s into Noose. She knows his past is littered with women, but she still wants to be around this man who makes her feel things she’s never felt before. I smile through my tears, my cheeks lifting his fingers. “Don’t you know the difference between happy tears and sad ones?” Noose shakes his head, his hair slithering over his fingers and my face. “No. Don’t know. Never stuck around long enough to figure out the difference.”
In a great effort to not ruin the ending to Rose and Noose’s story, I just want to let you know that the story is great, the writing is on point, and the ending is everything I needed it to be. Loose ends are tied up—pun intended—and you aren’t left waiting for anything. Grab the series, once you stop you won’t want to stop!
Sean King, age twenty-nine. Dick like a demon, tongue like a saint.
Well finally we get Roses story,I feel like its been eons since I've read the first two books.I can honestly say good things come to those who wait. This was such an intense conclusion to Noose and Rose, the writer manages to do something that a lot of writers don't and that's keep the momentum. There are quite a few surprises that were not expected but much appreciated.A stunning conclusion, you are not going to see coming. Also I was really glad that we don't get to see Rose flop around for to long making her mind up about loving her man.An overall excellent story worthy ending. Now for extra cream that was added in we get to see Thorns story. If you are waiting on mystery, drama and two very sexy people burn up your pages then read this story. You are not going to want to miss all the parts where you just go ahhh or the times when you go damn! This is so very good and did I mention sexy.If you are reading the Token series continue and if not then get busy.
