Aristide Antonas began his studies at the Department of Biology of the University of Athens soon to be dropped in 1984 to graduate as an Architect Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens. He settled in Paris in 1988 and defended his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Nanterre.

He taught philosophy, the theory of architecture and architectural design at universities such as the National Technical University of Athens, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Thessaly. From the age of ten (during the summer holidays, while he was away from the city) he developed severe allergic dyspnea that forced him to stay awake at night. He began writing during this solitary insomnia, first plays and then prose. Together with the visual artist Zafos Xagoraris and the poet Phoebe Giannisis (who lived with him for seventeen years) he published the literary magazine "Black Museum", published in 1986.

During his stay in Paris, Antonas met the philosophical scene of the time and came in contact with Jacques Derrida. He returned from France and worked as a professional architect. His literary texts can be characterized in a nutshell as philosophical novels, horror stories, adventurous stories, detective stories, family chronicles, minimalist recordings, impossible separations, occult allegories, moral parables.
