A Steamy, Forbidden, VALENTINE'S Romance
When Sage’s car breaks down on Valentine’s weekend, she’s stranded on a deserted road. It’s nighttime. Cold. Raining. Her cell phone is almost dead. She’s left with no choice but to call a towing company.
The wrecker arrives, driven by the owner, Theo Brooks. Her stepbrother. Never before has Sage been alone with him. She has every reason to keep her distance. Theo makes her nervous, makes her aroused, makes her want dirty things from him. After she climbs into the wrecker, she finds her step-brother wants things from her too. Especially when he discovers she has an unopened box containing an adult toy. And that’s when the Valentine fun and games really begin.

In high school, they gave me a spiral notebook and told me to write down everything I was thinking. Two weeks later, I had to go to a very serious conference with my teacher and my parents. I sort of figure they were asking for it.
I like to write about very terrible fellas and the women who can't resist them. I hope you enjoyed what you read! Please sign up for information about new releases: http://eepurl.com/7d3pv
This story was sooo sweet and at times also really hot. And despite the fact that this book has only around 70 pages, it still made for a very satisfying read.
Both main characters fit great together and have wonderful personalities that drew me to them and made me believe in their romance. Also, this is a stepbrother/sister read but to me that fact didn't play a big role in their journey. It was like reading a normal, nonsibling story. The only thing that would made the story even better is if it were longer. But we can't always get what we want, right? Anyway, Wrecker is a fun short read that will make your day a bit brighter. :)
3.5 JUST GOOD STARS "Sage, you taste so good.” Tugging her ankle, he coaxed her leg up and draped it over his shoulder. “I’m going to devour you.”
Okay I have to stop rereading books I liked!
This book wasn't as good as I remember it being. Somehow, it wasn't as intense and interesting as the first time. Also, I forgot a few details that bothered me this time. Like the fact that the hero was married before and that the heroine was so painfully naive, it was beyond my comprehension how she was able to complete her nursing program.
The hero was pretty good and very alpha, but he was way too intelligent for the heroine. He knew about her roommates about her extra job and the set up with Trey the sleazy pimp extraordinaire. Seriously here people, even a child could see through him! Ahhh so frustrating!
The great new is the hero was a completely protective alpha and he was definitely gone over the heroine. He did everything to claim his Sage on Valentine's Day. That part was HOT!!! And that scene with the toy...OMG PANTY SCORCHING!
Overall, it was a good safe book and I was recommend it to those lovers of insta-love and protective alphas. It even had a cute little epilogue a year later. However, I'm warning potential readers now, the heroine was just TOO NAIVE FOR ME.
Theo's father married Sage's mom and their parents were always traveling.
She's on her way to her friends for a Valentines weekend but her car broke down. She had no choice but to call a tow, the towing company owned by her stepbrother, Theo.
She's a nursing student and only needed one more semester. She had a part-time job tending bar at the strip club.
Theo was an ex-Marine and he used to be a lawyer too. Now, he's into buy and sell companies.
She didn't expect Theo to be the one to come and tow her car. He also brought her to his home and told her it was all his doing. He messed her car because he didn't like it and he wanted to spend Valentines with her.
At first, she wanted to go home but her feelings for him was stronger and Theo would never let her go. Everything happened so fast, with her roommates, with her club manager and something happened to Trey while he was protecting her and he wanted them to get married right away. He didn't want to die not being married to her. But don't worry, he didn't die and they got their HEA.
I liked the epilogue but I was just confused about Jack and Savannah's baby. They're H/h in Jacked. I just read their story and their first child was a girl but in this one, it's a boy. I'm just confused about it. Is it just me? But besides that, this book's a good one.
Fangirling review to come. Start stalking this author safety girls she's exactly what we crave. Pimping is about to start.

The Romantic at heart living inside of me confesses unapologetically that I am 100% addicted to loyal, sexy, honorable yet Bossy, take charge, know exactly what he wants Alpha males. This story absolutely and completely checked every single box... But then it gave me more. Theo is the epitome of perfect alpha with a side of oh I know he didn't. He runs rough shod over sweet feisty yet innocent Sage but see that's OK because Sage has secretly wanted her off limits step brother for so very long. His wrecking ball of take charge bad-assery is just what her little heart needs and Theo is all about giving his woman exactly what she needs and deserves. From funny dialogue to sexy hot as hell love making this fast yet satisfying read will warm you up and keep you burning just like I love my Sizzling Pages to be.
Sasha Gold you are something else and I want to say thank you.. From the bottom of this romantic saps heart.. For taking the dreams of one girl who needs loyal characters and adding our Safe Tag to your synopsis and being proud of it. You will always have fans.. And I will do everything to help that fan base grow. Look out ladies.. Watch this name.. She's definitely Gold.
This is a very fast, quick novella that held a lot of story and did it well.
When Sage’s car breaks down on the side of the road she’s surprised that the tow driver is her step-brother Theo. Ten years separate them and their parents haven’t been married too long but Theo has been determined to help keep an eye on Sage from the beginning.
Instead of taking her home he heads to his house and Sage quickly realizes she’s been quite simply, kidnapped. Along the way we learn that Sage has an outstanding loan with a not so reputable individual and Theo has taken it upon himself to settle that debt. Now however, he is determined to collect what’s owed him via a lap dance.
This little story had so many delicious things going on in it. I loved how forceful and assertive Theo was. He’d waited all he was going to wait for Sage and her time was up. There was now tiptoeing around what he wanted either. Sage, innocent and a bit naïve to begin with, didn’t take long to catch up with where he was going.
This had a bit of a stalkerish feel to it but not in a dark and scary way. I really like a hero who knows what he wants and goes after it and that’s exactly what Theo did. The epilogue was very nice and included a peek at another couple I assume have their own story. If so, I will definitely have to check that one out soon.
Heroine POV Safe – no ow/om drama Possible triggers
Needed something short and sweet so I decided to give some smut that is not by Alexa Riley a chance. This wasn't bad, the sex scenes were quite steamy, there was also pretty good humour in it, but the way we went from zero to hero was ... weird. One second the female MC is scared what her step-brother is gonna do to her (especially considering his treatment of her in the past) and the next moment she all but forgets about that because she always had a crush on him? Him being loaded was also convenient as fuck (especially considering that he hasn't been out of the MC too long yet) and then they have sex for the first time, the condom breaks (although at least they were using one instead of talking about "breeding", thank goodness for small favours) and she gets pregnant but it's no big deal?! Meh.
Again this was just ok for me. A pretty safe read. hero was married before. but we get nothing on her except she left him. that's it nothing else. I was able to get past it because nothing was mentioned. heroine was a virgin.
This was an okay read... I think if we could have gotten some of it from Theo's POV (other than just the epilogue) I would have enjoyed it a lot more. As it is I had a hard time feeling the connection between them which made enjoying it rather difficult.
This one was just OK. I am very much over step-brother books, it's been done TO DEATH. There wasn't anything new here, and I am not even sure why they had to be step-siblings since it didn't really factor into the story in any way.
Sage was an OK heroine, nothing special. Theo was a hot alpha, but I never really connected with him. It's like he had no personality or emotions, or something. He just came off really wooden. There was also no buildup to their relationship. It probably would have worked better for me had there been an inkling of sexual tension between them, but nope.
Sigh...just not that great of a read unfortunately.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited and really enjoyed it! The pacing was good and the development of the characters wasn't lacking. Although this is a taboo stepbrother trope, not much of the plot is emphasized on this so if you're iffy about that, then I say don't worry and pick this up. The story is primarily focused on Theo and Sage's relationship. It was steamy and fun all around.
If you're a fan of Lynda Chance, you'll enjoy Sasha Gold. Her stories are sexy with over protective alpha males & sweet happily ever afters!
This was short and cute so my review will be too. Sweet and innocent step-sister who’s extremely naive and just wants to make it through college on her own. Bossy and hot step-brother wants her and will do anything to have her.
Add in some unbelievably dumb roommates determined to find trouble, a sleazy cabernet manager and a dangerous situation or two and you have a very sweet story with a little bit of OTT elements to it. The last part felt rushed and kind of out there but it wasn’t a bad little guilty distraction.
Update: I read this last year and gave it 3.5 stars, then rounded up to 4. I have no idea what I was thinking, they never even exchange ILYs. Not even at their wedding!
My first foray into step brother books but I don't think this is what most of them are like... nothing taboo about this couple really. They were both adults, meet as adults and never have any angst over the fact that they have an in law link. The book was more focused on their attraction, his being an odd duck and her trifling roommates, lol.
Pinball. You heard me. Pinball. The poor abused and mangled train of thought bouncing from page to page and not ever really hitting the plot points.
This book should have hit all my buttons. Insta-love, OTT hero, step-brother (wink). Yeah, all that was great, but it was extremely difficult to hold onto the thread of this story. On one page he's blackmailing her with sex toy pictures that he is going to send to contacts on her phone, then she comes back to his place and he's mad telling her that she put herself in a dangerous position going back to her apartment because the guy who beat up her roommate is planning on selling her in a human trafficking ring at a premium price because, said guy, magically knows the h is a virgin. Then they are having sex.
Ok.....
The whole thing was like a really long run on sentence (see above) without any transitions. What really bothers me is that the h never appropriately called the H on vandalizing her car and almost letting her freeze to death, telling her she had to give him a five thousand dollar lap dance, going over her head and getting her fired, or blackmail. Also, what happened to the human trafficking ring? There was no closure on those issues.
I love OTT, possessive, obsessive, Heroes. The concept of this book was great. Execution, not so much.
I love possessive Hs, but since we don’t have his POV, in the beginning it seemed he wanted only sex from the h. h had TSTL moments and was too naive for someone who worked in a strip club and lived with two other strippers. The ex-boss kicked the sh*t out of one of her girlfriends and she was not scared to face him. It was not believable, specially because she was kind of a doormat and she didn’t have any backup if he decided to hurt her. Overall was a good read, there were problems but I would recommend it nonetheless.

Stepbrother romance! I really enjoyed this book. This story is a great stepbrother romance. Sage and Theo meet as adults, after their parents get married. Sage and Theo cracked me up a lot. Sage and Theo are great characters as are several of the secondary characters. Lots of feels with this story. Definitely recommend. Must read!
Gotta agree with Chantals review here. Sage was just too dumb and naive " not in here little town" she just couldn't see a thing when it was right in her face. So only 2 stars from me.
This was a good short story with lots of lust. Theo wants to take care of Sage. He just needs to help her understand his intentions are good and meant for life.
