One of my new favorite inspirational books. Katrina details how she went from struggling emotionally to finding her purpose, reviving her energy and enthusiasm, and knowing that God's plan for her and for us all is to get rid of fear and realize our own perfection. Her journey through life is one that we can all relate to. Who hasn't been in a situation at work that caused so much anxiety and depression that illness was physically manifesting? Katrina explains in detail how we are all worthy, valuable, purposed, free, and most importantly, enough! We just need to become more aware and awake, and trust that God is always looking out for us, wanting us to accomplish everything we ever dreamed of. After finishing this book, I feel more alive and enlightened than I have in a long time.
If you are wondering how you can get more out of life and if that more really exists or if you are transitioning, then this is the book for you. Katrina walks us through her journey with raw, heartfelt life experiences, scriptures, insights, and actionable, realistic steps we can take in our own lives. Although I wasn't there, I felt like I was. I was absolutely blown away at how her experiences and thoughts at these important moments coincided with my own. She says all of the things that we think but are afraid to admit out loud. I love this book because it offers practical advice to help people release baggage, own their power, find their purpose, and to learn how to truly love yourself and live happily. You can tell this was a labor of love and it has been a blessing to my life and my journey.
"Loving on Me!: Lessons Learned on the Journey from MESS to MESSAGE" by Katrina McGhee is a beacon of light in a world that often feels dimmed by doubt and uncertainty. From the moment I opened its pages, I was enveloped in a narrative that felt both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Katrina's journey is not just hers alone; it's a roadmap for anyone who has ever felt stuck, lost, or unsure of their next steps. Through her powerful storytelling and insightful reflections, she guides readers on a transformative expedition towards self-discovery, faith, and ultimately, liberation.
What struck me most about this book is its raw honesty. Katrina doesn't sugarcoat her experiences or present herself as someone who has it all figured out. Instead, she invites us into her vulnerabilities, showing us that strength often emerges from our deepest struggles.
As I followed Katrina's evolution from turmoil to triumph, I found myself nodding in recognition, laughing at shared absurdities, and shedding tears of empathy. Her words are not just motivational platitudes; they are profound truths that penetrate the soul and awaken dormant potential.
Through "Loving on Me," I learned to embrace my imperfections, release my fears, and step boldly into the fullness of who I am meant to be. Katrina's message is clear: we are all deserving of love, purpose, and abundance. We are all enough.
I closed the final chapter of this book feeling uplifted, inspired, and empowered to embark on my own journey of self-discovery. Katrina McGhee's words have left an indelible mark on my heart, and I have no doubt they will continue to guide me as I navigate life's twists and turns.
"Loving on Me!" is not just a book; it's a lifeline for anyone seeking clarity, courage, and connection. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Dive in, and prepare to be transformed.
I came across this book because a friend recommended it to me. As soon as I picked it up it was hard to put it down. The book isn't just something to read - it is interactive. Every chapter includes a call to learn more, read further, journal or work on affirmations. I feel like this book isn't like every other devotional or spiritual guide because it works in really personal stories from the author's life. This book keeps it real in a way you don't often get from Christ centered books. Every chapter had a clear message and this book is a must have for anyone going through change or a major transition in their life: career, loss of a loved one, relationship, etc. I have a strong feeling this will be a book I end up re-reading at various stages in my life because I know I will need to read certain messages more than once and that the messages will sink in even further as I reach varying points along my own personal journey. Definitely worth the read.
