Surprises in Store
Landon continues breaking his rules after weeks of no-one in his bed, save Aurora. It's fun to watch the play boy continue to fall down the rabbit hole and into love.
I loved how Rory and Allie managed to get their parents to have a spirited night with them. And Landon surprised me with his actions afterwards.
All-in-all, it was a very likable book. It does move a little show at times because the POV for both characters is often relived for each of them, creating a large amount of overlap. But that's honestly not bad. In fact, once I started, I didn't stop.
I listened to the audio book with Stacy Hill on vocals. She's pleasant to listen to.

I was sucked into the audiobook!!
This is book 2 of 3, I believe, but it is the first one I've read or listened to.
I put this on while I was working today, and found myself paying attention to the story more than my work at times.
Despite this being the second book, Aurora & Landon are easy to get into. I suspect there may be some details that might be clarified by reading the first book, but I guess that just means more reason for me to seek it out now.
Enjoyed the back and forth POV giving both characters views at times of the same interaction. Definitely steamy, steamy, steamy. Landon is obviously drawn to Aurora despite not wanting something serious and those issues are what they are working out. And he definitely wants her. And he moves fast.
While the narrator was good, I do think the audio would be even better with a narrator performing with British accents since the book is set in the UK. And also uses British slang or phrases. This sounds odd with an American accent.
Also, this book would definitely have benefited from duet narration because while the narrator sounds perfect for the heroine or other female characters, the hero doesn't quite have the correct timber when read by a female narrator. He needs that deep, growly male voice. That being said, the narrator is still pleasant to listen to.
All in all, I enjoyed this immensely and definitely want to read book 1 now and am definitely interested in going onto book 3.

enforced rules is book 2 in the series .after reading book 1 broken rules, I HAD to have book this book as I was enthralled with auroras n landons story. this book did not let me down! the hurt, the secrets, the passion, and yep, the love...is all there. I can go to bed happy n sleep peacefully with where enforced rules ended, I will be getting the next book soon!

This is book 2 and I loved it!!! I was really concerned that Landon was going to go back to his old ways and just try and get out of his feelings about Aurora, of course he tried to but NOPE, he came right back.
I wish there was a little novelette or short story on Melody, even from the small interaction in this book she sounds like someone I would love to know more about even leading up to the horrible accident.
I don't understand why Landon would even be a little bit upset with his father for how he is behaving towards his mother, she had an affair, not once or twice, but for years!!! Decades! He is better than any man I have ever met, I would have been gone.
I will say that I did find quite a few similarities to Fifty Shades in the time frame, they have known each other for like 2 weeks and know they are moving in together after a short break up? But besides that part I was incredibly happy with this book and can't wait to read the next one!

Spoiler FREE** Okay so I’m manic. Once I start a series, I have to finish it. That why when a book I really want to read, tells me there will be a sequel to it. I bid my time until all of the books in the series come out. ( with few exceptions – Game of Thrones/Outlander series ) So when I first read Broken Rules, I was thrilled that the whole series was already available. I loved Landon and Aurora when they were introduced in the first book. Aurora is genuine and like the girl you know you’d be BFF with and Landon.... Yeah, we all had that one guy in our lives you that made your knees go weak in the knees. This sequel had all I wanted and SO MUCH MORE! I did not see some things coming, I mean I expected some of it, but yeah... I ached for these two. Onto the next one!! I gotta see what’s next.

I don't know what to write in this review. I always find it difficult to review books that I absolutely loved! Enforced Rules is one of them.
I love the fact that the author has written all the scenes in both Aurora's and Landon's POVs. Whenever I read a romance novel, I'm always curious about what the other person was thinking at a particular moment. So I'm really glad I got to know that in the Rules series!
The fact that I finished this book in 3 hours tops also says how engrossed I was and how much I loved it!
So yeah, all I can say is I absolutely loved Enforced Rules and am eager to read Revised Rules as well... <3

This is the second book in the series, and I find it was an excellent continuation. Aurora and Landon seem perfect together until he freaks out about their relationship causing her to think they are through. There are many things that happen such as Aileen making a longer appearance, and Landon's brother finding out the major secret that was revealed to Landon in book one. I enjoy reading about this awesome couple and can't wait to continue on to the third book in this series.

This is a very well written book that once you start reading you cannot put it down. It moves along at a comfortable reading speed which is neither too fast nor too slow. The characters are interesting and you want to know more about them. You cannot help but fall in love with them. The story grabs you and keeps you reading till you reach the end. Once you get to the end you are needing more. This needs to be on your TBR list.

Land on did not know what to do with himself. He met Aurora and she changed his life completely. This story was so good because I loved the storyline. I liked that Landon was vulnerable as well. Great addition to the series.

The reveals continue in this book. Landon continues to disappoint me due to his treatment of her. I had major hate for him for some of this book. The first part of the book gives the reader insight from his point of view to the events leading up to the charity event and some of the event itself. Then we find out more as the book continues. The reader is given a tidbit of information that was unbelievable. So the reader is in the know but the characters are clueless at this point. That was awesome. I fell in love with them as their relationship continued to grow and yes, Landon redeemed himself. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Before I start this review, I have to say that I did not realize this was a second installment of a series when I signed up to review it because there's nothing in the blurb stating this is a second installment. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have agreed to review it because obviously I cannot do a book justice if I come into it blindly, not having read the previous installment. Having said that, I did read this blindly, and it threw me off. Whoever writes the blurbs should take heed of this.
Now, onto the review. I found Enforced Rules mostly well written with one glaring exception: the restating of the previous chapter in the other character's POV is unnecessary and distracting and takes away any momentum the story has gained in the previous chapter. This method is quite frankly, an obnoxious way of presenting dual POVs. Aside from that, I found the actual story interesting enough, if not very original. Aurora seems to be an independent heroine who's enjoying a thing with Landon, who apparently has rules about his encounters for women, and is vexed that Aurora seems to be making him break all his previous rules. It makes for a bit of angst (poor Aurora) and Landon comes across as kind of a douche because of this. But by the end I could tell they were on their way to an HEA. I wish the story had concluded in this installment because I doubt I'll bother reading the next installment.

After reading Hanleigh's first "Rules" book, I was eagerly waiting until Enforced Rules dropped into my kindle........and boy I was not disappointed.
Another definite page turner, this book has all the hotness of the previous book, if not more.
Landon and Aurora are learning more and more about each other and their daily lives. And the one thing they can both definitely admit to is they cannot near to be without the other.
A love story in every sense, that will leave you hot and flustered and eagerly anticipating the third book in this series, Revised Rules.
Hanleigh says it best herself when she says,
"Every single one of us has a list of rules we refuse to break, even if we don't realise it. But sometimes the people we meet, and fall in love with, have a way of challenging that. Must read…
This is the second in the series and picks up where the first book Broken Rules ended…control is everything in Landon’s world but this second in the series explores his developing relationship with the beautiful and conflicted Aurora and examines the consequences when control is lost…
I love the premise of this series about these two individuals who experience control both internally and from external sources and the narrative provided from both their perspectives opens a window into their responses and their developing emotional intelligence as the story progresses…their relationship is complex and full of broken rules but their imperfections make them ironically a perfect match..their interactions are authentic there is discord but also humour and super hot sexual chemistry…
This is such a well written and addictive read and once again I was left wanting to read and learn more about this couple and their search for a happy ever after…I received a copy of this book from the author..

If you have taken some time off between books, Ms. Bradley does a great job of reminding us what occurred in the first book. Although, to fully understand and appreciate, I believe it’s best to read Broken Rules first before beginning this one.
In this story, Landon and Aurora are both coming to terms with their feelings and the effects of breaking their rules. They are trying to make their relationship work when more family drama occurs. I enjoyed reading more about Landon and Aurora's siblings and wonder if anything will happen between them. (I hope so!)
The sex scenes are smoking hot and I love how assertive Aurora has become! I just love this series and can’t wait to read the next book!

This was a great series. It was light, quick, and kept me turning the pages. I recommend this series be purchases all at once if you are reading in paperback. This series fell in my lap at a perfect time. I was in the middle of a heavy novel and needed a break. This series was perfect, light fun break. I quite enjoy the story being based in London as I read the entire book in a British accent. (I don't live in EU so this was entertaining for me.)

I really love this book and audiobook, they are fantastic! The Narrator for the audiobook is amazing. I cannot get enough of this series. I am in love with the unique storyline and the characters. I can’t wait for the next book!

As things continue to grow and change for these two. We see just how hard they are both working to fight this thing between them. A well written piece that flows nicely from book one and the characters that we are continuing to get to know. Things are perfect or are they? Either way it goes they are still breaking all of the rules in this relationship and it isn't one sided either.
As it all continues to come together we get a beautiful read from this author. I am so glad I found this series it just makes the heart soar.

This is the second book in the series. Rules are meant to be broken ….. aren't they ?????. Landon and Aurora are getting strong feelings for each other and this is totally out of the norm for Landon with his usual love um and leave um attitude. Landon and Aurora hit a few obstacles while learning more and more about each other and they both definitely need to be with each other that's for certain.
A true love story that will certainly leave you hot and flustered and needing to read the next one......

A well written interesting second in the series. Landon and Aurora are learning more and more of each other and seems to be breaking more rules. Landon is exploring more of his telationship and examining what hapoens when there is a loss of control. They are faced with more family drama a never know sectets. The sex scenes are off the charts smokin as Aurora becomes more assesrtive. Anxiously waiting for next to see how they will pan out.

This is the second book in the series. After reading the first one that i loved, i went straight onto reading this and boy another good read,Rules what are they, if not to be broken. In this story Landon and Aurora start to get feeling for each other and this is very alien for Landon as his a love um and leave um kinda guy, they have a couple of hurdles in there way but who is to blame for it, cant wait to read book three and find out how they are getting on.

I didn't read the first book in series before this one, so that might be why I struggled a bit in the beginning to get into the story. After that, I found it a very enjoyable read with plenty of steamy scenes. There is a significant amount of overlap in the timeline when the story switches between the two POV characters. The added insight was nice, albeit a little confusing the first time it happened.

This is the second book in the series and I was not disappointed at all in fact I was hooked and I could not get through it fast enough as I want to know how it would all end. This is a quick read with two very different people brought up in very different ways. Being set in London made it even better as I can just imaging the sexy accents. So worth while reading.

Aurora and Landon story is not going in any typical romance way. It’s fast happening within few days. Even if Landon do sometimes stupid things, theirs attraction is so strong that they can’t keep to themselves, they need to be together. Despite very invasive families, old and actual family problems, they keep getting closer and closer, not able to be separated any more. And that is truly beautiful.
