Jasper and Marie’s love was undeniable from the start. Introduced in 𝑳𝑩1, Marie, the youngest Mairettie sibling and Rita’s best friend, has always had feelings for Jasper. He felt the same, but fate and a hidden enemy kept them apart for seven years. A tangled web of miscommunication and manipulation delayed their love story, but in an ironic twist, the misunderstanding that separated them is what ultimately brings them back together.

The emotional depth of 𝑳𝑩4: 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 had me hooked. Jasper’s devotion to Marie never wavered, making him the kind of hero you root for. His protective nature and undeniable presence made every scene with him magnetic. Marie’s resilience stood out, and despite her pain, she never stopped believing in love. Their chemistry was intense, and their reunion was deeply satisfying. However, I would have liked to see them confront their issues sooner, as the miscommunication stretched on longer than necessary.

One of the strongest aspects of this book is how the author seamlessly interweaves the Blacks, Briggs, Donati, and Mairettie families. The interconnected relationships create a world that feels real and immersive. The mystery surrounding who was behind their separation adds intrigue, making me eager for more answers. I also hope Camille gets her own love story because she deserves it.

This book delivers passion, betrayal, and the power of fate. If you love second-chance romance with strong family ties, gripping chemistry, and a touch of suspense, 𝑳𝑩4: 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 is a must-read, in my opinion.

5 Star Kindle Unlimited Read

Jas may be the baby but he has had just as many obstacles in his path as any of the other guys.

Maria be be seen as flighty by the others but she is one strong woman to stand by and submit to her man.

UPDATE
Yes, I love this world so much that when I finally made it through my massive amounts of email and noticed new releases... I had to start from the beginning. As a woman, I love these alpha in control men that will do anything to protect their families and the women they love. But I also love these strong woman who stand beside their men, not behind!

Potential.

I enjoy the concept of childhood friend to lovers.....lots of potential. Then the author deviates to BDSM. There is erotic adult situations, which I enjoy and then their is BDSM. For me, the line is crossed when we get into the "Sir" and not making eye contact and being given permission to do whatever. I am not into BDSM and author's should clearly state that their books have BDSM elements. Then their is the ick factor with Olivia and Marie and Olivia and Jasper's uncle. PotentialIty okay book, just not for me.

Disappointed

I always look forward to this author's books. This one didn't work for me. I found myself skipping most of it.

I recently discovered this author when I read Legally Bound 1. Until this book, I have loved the characters and the stories. I really like how she connects the characters in different series (like a few of my favorite authors do). There is room for improvement with the grammar and often the wrong word is used; nothing a good editor couldn't easily fix. This book missed the mark for me. For some reason, the author decided to write this story in third person. Passive voice makes it very difficult to connect with the story and the characters. There are so many grammar errors in this book it makes me think the author actually wrote this story before the other stories in the series. I've been following the author's recommended reading order, but after this disappointing read, I'm going to have to take a break from this author for a bit.

They finally stopped running.

With the help of the older match making family members, Marie and Jasper finally got their act together. The both came clean with the things that happened and Marie was willing to be taught by a former client, to learn all she needed to keep Jasper happy. But there were folks that were not happy about any of those relationships and had the nerve to try to take on the Briggs, Mairetti and Donato family. Only part of the story was uncovered but now, all of the love birds are happy including Uncle Thomas.

This story was one of strong loving family ties. They all rally around the family member that needs support. I love the family unit and how they love and support each other and do what is necessary to protect each other. We'll have to see who is stupid enough to take them all on in the next book in the series.

She's Killing Me and I Love It

I love Marie and Jas' story. I didn't expect either of their journeys to be what they were. I got a wiff of what Marie was capable of when she smacked the hell out of her old roommate, but I thought that was because she was provoked. All the men in this series are wild and their women are not afraid to walk on the wild side with them.
Uncle Tommy had me shaking my head, I'm on the other side of 70 so I know you're not done till you're dead. Right?
I'm ready for the next book, because I can't even imagine who it is who wants to mix it up with this crew that's like family. I do know they either have a vivid imagination about how they perceive themselves or they're just stupid. We shall see.

Marvelous

This is another book in this series. which I really enjoyed this is a must-read. The series revolves around family that's in secret security and they each finds their love for life. Jas is being trained as his cousin second with the family. Marie is the youngest who has just returned her family. They are awesome and their chemistry burns up the pages. All of these characters are awesome and they drew me in to see how much their characters would grow throughout the story and of course I wasn't disappointed , I enjoyed all of the drama and sizzling hot passion from each couple. But I must tell you that the cliffhangers exists but I still give this story a five.

Ms.Blue

Ok so I have diligently read this series in order. I love them. I have on thing bad to say. The writing is simple. Not bad really just not complex and flowing like some other authors I’ve read. Ms. Blue your characters are diverse and well rounded. I laugh and cry with them. I feel them and think of them throughout my day. What’s going on with Camille is she getting her own story, I want to hear from her. They way have tied this wide range of characters together is awesome.

Another Great Read

Wow another great read, enjoying myself on catching up with Briggs, Mairettie & the Black family. I don’t have to worry about my next read or what I’m reading because I already have the next book and know the order in which I am suppose to read them.
Love the Dom in Jas & the submissive in Marie makes it all so freaky and delicious. The down side is no one to read this with so I can get my freak on while reading this, only playing by yourself can do oh so much.
Enjoy the read.

Hmmmm

I find myself wanting to unfold every plot there is in this book, wishing the next page will be the answers...lol. Marie and Jasper are two young love, you can't help but to want them together. I'm glad there wasnt too much back and forth. I found one thing to be a bit disturbing, I'm glad it was mentioned as soon as I thought it. You'll find out exactly what I'm talking.

Really though...

Can't say that this story was one of my favorites. Although I did like it, Im not used to this type of writing from Mrs. Saffire. Im a fan of just about all of her books. I will say that this one felt rushed. I mean very rushed. I also didn't like the fact that in most of her books it feels like you get the character perspective. It feels like the reader is in head of the character. In this book I felt like we got more of an author's perspective. There was a lot of and Jas felt or Marie felt like.

Waiting for the right time!

I have been waiting to read about Jasper and Marie’s story since the first book. This series and the web of characters from the other stories is just so amazing, I only want to read all day. I am 100% invested in finding out what happens with the new mystery villain that is coming after all the different families! Great writing, great stories, and amazingly great characters.

Jasper and Marie

I love the family bond and foundation with these families. When the older generation knows there is trouble in paradise or sees the love and longing between two of their own, they do what they can to get them back on track. Marie a good one though because ion know how I would feel about learning the ropes from my man's former bed buddy. I'm glad they got it together and everything worked out. Thomas may have even found him a new love.💌💌

I had a hard time getting into this couple

I’m reading this collection again in order. I connected more with Liv and has even though I was eager for Jas and Marie’s story. Others in the Briggs-Black-Mairettie-Donati universe engage in BDSM but this took it to another level that was too much for me. There were also many word usage errors in this one that made it harder to get into. I’m glad Liv and Thomas got a HEA too.

Another One!

FINALLY!! Marie and Jasper! I love that they have become ONE! As it only took way TOO long. I’m not sure I could take lessons from another woman on how to please my man, that use to have sex with him. That would just be too awkward and weird. Soo much has happened. Uncle Thomas and Olivia too. Wow! I cannot wait to find out who is behind all of this mess with all of the families!

Jasper and Marie’s story. I don’t like how this Olive character was with Jasper and had such an effect in his life. How he was her bodyguard/ lover from when he was 21 and she was 10 years older. And completely shaped him. I didn’t like how it felt like he had more of a connection with her than Marie who is supposed to be the actual love of his life.
All in all, not my favorite in the series and didn’t feel fleshed out

OPENING

This book was to catch you up on how Jasper and Marie started and for it to finally complete its journey. It was always to fill you in on all of the hitters in the book. Now it's time for the fun to being. But does the authors have a twin fetish. So far twin are in all the books.

Weakest Link

This one was not as good as the others before it. It took me a while to get through it and what kept me going was the "Olivia" factor. The good stuff didn't happen until almost the end. As of now, I'm considering this story to be the weakest link. Jasper deserved better 😒

Love the drama

These 2 were cute and this was a good read for the Mariette’s and the Briggs family. I love the clan and their love stories. I also like Olivia and was hoping I would get to know of her. I think we may with her new love interest. Can’t wait to see what happens next and the saga continues.

This one takes it up a notch!

Everything about this series is fire. It was worth the wait to see how Jas and Rie’s story would unfold but was not expecting this. While tastefully done, it is definitely for grown folks. Parts of this had me on the edge of my seat. The throwbacks, action scenes and steamy mixes..this was one heck of a story ride. Well done.

Least liked so far

Jasper and Marie's story was a disappointment. I'm not a fan of BDSM, and it was tastefully presented, but it was the overriding theme of their life. They both seemed immature, even after 7 yrs and the Thomas/Olivia pairing was just wrong.

This one was good in that it gave insight into the couples that we've already gotten used to. I felt like Jasper and Marie was mostly done in flashback. The surprise (but not surprising) couple was the better reveal.

Hot hot

Jas and Marie, coming together at last, love knows no bounds. Olivia and uncle Thomas didn't see that coming but the steam level is off the charts in this book... Another great one
