OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! I think this is my favorite book so far in this series and please don't get me wrong, every book that I have read by this incredible author is stellar and definitely 5+ star review. This book though the author wasn't playing and she brought that fireeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Dr. Adam Fitzgerald Lassiter, is next to the youngest of the 12 brood of Sally and Joe Lassiter and even though he comes from a big family there is lots of love. Adam has one of the most brilliant of minds in this century but growing up with 2 brothers whom he deems larger than life can be a bit daunting so he applies for the FBI academy and gets in. He has just graduated with his Masters in (Biometric and Nuclear Engineering) and his Doctorate in (Chemical Engineering), also has countless inventions under his belt and is very well off after selling them. His latest invention will prove to save countless lives on the fields of war and medically, it's called J.M.A.L.T.S. and to say it is beyond anything anyone could have imagined is an understatement. Adam had picked Scientist Cyrus McCoy and a selected team would begin to duplicate the device. Unbeknownst to anyone else, it has come to the attention of some scrupulous men in our own US government who will stop at nothing to get their hands on it, including murder.
Dr. Amber Nicolas is a genius herself, college and medical school not only did she graduate early but at the top of her class. She is an only child to her overprotective parents. When a colleague calls her in to examine the body of Cyrus McCoy she immediately sees that has been poisoned and with this discovery, the lid is blown off and now the lives of everyone are in danger. Once Adam and Amber are put together the action is non-stop and trying to stay ahead of unknown killers and keep from being kidnapped is definitely enough to make anybody holler time out.
The Lassiter Crew is front and center as well, so we get to see everyone. Samuel and Joshua are front and center protecting their little brother Adam. Adam struggles with them for his independence from them, the older brothers are afraid of their mother Sally so they are sticking to Adam like glue. We get a definitive answer that has plagued many of us from what happened in the books of (Joshua 1 and 2). Adam is sexier than ever (who knew - gasps and swoons, definitely need a man like him in my life Woot! Woot!). Dr. Amber Nicols had no idea that she was so adventurous since she has lived a very stringent life until Adam burst into and takes over LOLLL!!!
This book has everything you are looking for in a story, Love, Romance, Hot Sex, Humor (you will be on the floor rolling), Murder, Intrigue, Mystery, Family and the set-up for the next story for this series (although I have no idea whose story is up next). If you have never read a book by author Iris Bolling, I definitely implore you to start with her first series "Heart Series" that has started it all. Believe me when I tell you this, it is a ride you will never want to get off of.

What's Next?
As every other Iris Bolling fan I was waiting on Adams story wanting to see where the 11th child of Joe and Sally Lassiter was going. Especially knowing he comes behind three larger than life brothers Samuel, Joshua, and Luke. This reader was not disappointed I found this read to be complex, engaging, and astonishing with a few laugh out loud moments. IMO, book six is book # 1 in the Gems and Gents series. If you are looking for great reading go for the Gems and Gents series by Iris Bolling

This book was amazing
This deserves more than five stars. I loved this book and will add it to my list of favorites by Ms. Bolling. Adam is my new favorite and he is an awesome combination of Samuel and Joshua. I can't wait to read more from my favorite author. Every book knocks it right out of the park with no problem and this book was no different.

More gems and gents
I loved the story of Adam. Love the little brother coming into his own. Of course I love the included love story. I love how parts of Ruby's story was incorporated. I want to know about his twin Jade next! Def a great read though. I do recommend it.

CAUGHT UP in the romance, drama, mystery and suspense surrounding the youngest brother of the Lassiter family. Adam is DEFINITELY the yang to Amber's yin. And I enjoyed watching him become his own man and the way he brought the SPICY side out of Amber. The way they both recognized almost INSTANTLY that they were one another's soulmate and didn't try to fight it. Glad that Joe the head of the Lassiter family is making a slow but steady recovery. Looking forward to seeing the next Lassiter fall in to their happily-ever-after. Kudos Ms. Bolling!

From the shadow to the limelight goes Adam!
Imagine you have a genius in the body of the eleventh of twelve children all of who are high achievers born to two regular working class parents (well one working class parent) the glue of that family who birthed all twelve children is and has been since getting married a stay at home mom Sally Lassiter! Sally Lassiter, wife to Joe Lassiter and the one in charge of Joe and their twelve children. Adam Lassiter aka hypnotic has developed a security device that in the wrong hands could spell disaster to the country and the world. So believing himself to be standing in the shadow of his two oldest brothers Joshua and Samuel Lassiter, Adam enlists with the FBI seeking to make his mark without realizing that an agency, any agency is too contained to encompass his God given intellect and ability! Along the way he gets thrown out of an agency he so hoped to prove himself with, foiled the theft of his stolen invention, helped to stave off an invasion of an African nation by a rogue general enticed by greed and perceived power, did I mention that while helping to foil the success of the invasion of Ashmere, he helped to save the life of the Queen and his niece Joshua's daughter Teddi. He was aided by the love of his life Amber a forensic medical doctor (who determined the scientist killed when Adam's manual for his latest device was stolen as murder) and Al Turk's high performing daughter Monique! Amber's diagnosis set off a series of activities that finally ended with Adam being picked to take over Ned's Job as CIA handler. He and Amber became the recipients of what could only be termed a tricked out mansion where he and she can work from home. He learned their father was shot and survive then Joshua and Roc had a son who is brother to the Princess of Ashmere! All through this story there were some edge of the seat moments, some intense anger segments and testing of Adam's loyalty that saw Adam and the nephew of Secretary Davenport go into the home of another General he thought was trying to get him to betray the country and wreaked havoc on the General's home without any casualties! This story was packed to the brim with so much intrigue, love, laughter, suspense and just all around great storytelling that one cannot help but be addicted to each and every one of these stories leading us to the upcoming story an International Affair! BTW, could the young recruit Adam and the other members of the crew he is the new handler for be none other than Calvin, Jr.? Looking forward to having that question answered soon!!

OMG, I did not want to put this book down. So much action, intrigue, twits and turns. Every time I thought I'd figured it out, I get hit with another surprise. All I can say is Adam is a force to be reckoned with. With his brain and living out of the box, adventurous spirit, he is by far the most dangerous person to tangle with. Adam sees what he wants and single mindedly goes after it. The word "can't" is not part of his vocabulary. Amber is a by the book, legalistic and more restrained in her outlook of life. She sees things in black and white. Though seemingly opposites, the two of them are the perfect couple. Amber tempers and focuses Adams no holds bared approach to life and Adam encourages Amber to color outside the lines and embrace all of the rainbow colors. Adam is now my 2nd favorite male character. Joshua remains my all time favorite character.

I LOVE THIS STORY❤️❤️❤️❤️ Adam and Amber had a vibe like none of the other couples in this Gems and Gents series. 🔥🔥🔥They were as smart as they were dangerous and when they gave into the their undeniable attraction is was pure fire. Joshua has been my favorite thus far and now that Adam has come into his own he’s right up there with Joshua in a totally different way.
This story although about Adam finding his “Sally”☺️❤️ it also connected the dots to the previous subplots from previous books in this series. Once again the Lassiter family shows what family love is all about. I think the only think I missed with his story was that there was no family meeting called to vet Amber😂😂☺️. However based on how she had Adams back throughout all the danger they encountered I’m sure she passed❤️. I’m loving this series. Thanks so much Ms. Bolling ❤️

Dr Adam Lassiter had a very powerful mind. He created programs and things helped others because . Dr Amber Nicolas works at a lab for the government. When they is a murder of someone who was part of a sensitive project, they are picked as part of team to determine who is responsible. Adam proved to be just as deadly when his brothers Joshua and Samuel are cornered by people intent on killing them. A secret grandchild named Princess Teddi was found out about because the trail of the people who stole information on the project led to Africa. It was a very interesting read.

So far, my favorite Gent
Took me awhile to continue my quest to read the Gems & Gents Series. This series has so many twists & turns but all are brilliant. Ms. Bolling keeps you turning the pages to see what great turn is happening next. Adam and Amber's story is exciting and keeps you glued to the pages to see what happens next. I would recommend this book & most importantly to the series. You would want to know what happened before this book & I cannot wait to read what is next.

Loved It
I have had many sleepless nights as I've moved through the Gems & Gents series. The Lassiters and friends have kept me on the edge of my seat & thoroughly entertained - anxious, laughing; so many emotions have surfaced. What an amazing intoxicating journey. Oh, and the ladies are ALL bringing their own Black Girl Magic (3 finger snaps). OK, gotta go see if Symmetry is up to any mischief. So far Absolute and Hypnotic are highest on the mischief scale... I'm just sayin'! LoL

I'm embarrassed to say that I have had The Gems and Gents Series for a while, but never started reading them. Now that I have, I am hooked on Sally and Joe Lassiter and their kids. Adam is a force to be reckoned with, and I never knew what to expect when I started his story. But oh my goodness, he and
Amber are two peas in a pod and most assuredly his yin to her yang. I enjoyed their adventures. Now on to the next Lassiter child.

I liked Adam and Amber. I appreciated the way Adam brought color into Amber's life. I loved their banter and the romance.
As usual, the interactions with the Lassiter siblings was fun, humorous, and witty. I liked that they have each others backs.
I was surprised the Akande situation was out in the open. It was clear to me if Joshua already knew. When did he find out?
I enjoyed the danger, suspense, political intrigue, and most of all the tech and the gadgets.

And the student becomes the master. Don’t get me wrong Joshua is still the man but Adam learns more with that big brain of his. I found myself laughing, crying, cheering, mad so many emotions. I just love the Lassiter clan especially Joshua and yes, he is in the book teaching and showing his brother style and flair.

Adam Steps Up
Wow is all I can say. Adam's story was eye opening. Adam is so smart and the things his comes up with is amazing. Iris never disappoints. Adam shows he's just as important as Joshua and Samuel. He came through with flying colors. He met up with his mate again and finally made that move for his forever.

Gems & Gents Series
The first series I read by MS. Bolling was the Dunning Family Series. I thought that was a great series, but the Gems and Gents is outstanding. It has everything from romance, drama, suspense and laugh out loud moments. On to book 7

Adam, Adam, Adam.......whew!!!! His intelligence is sexy, his cockiness is endearing, all around great read. Although he will never replace the love I have for his big brother Joshua in my heart, he is truly a close second. This whole series gives me goosebumps!!

I loved the story of Adam. I enjoyed watching Adam come into his own as well as his relationship with Amber. They were definitely the yin to each other's yang and balanced each other out wonderfully. Great story full of suspense, intrigue, action and a great love story.

This the story of Adam Lassiter and Amber Nicolas. Adam is a Genius who has created a device many want to use for evil. Many also want Adam to play on their team, in our government and a few foreign. Adam loves what he does but has a family full of achievers on many fronts. Much of his family shows up in the episode of the Lassiters. His father has a mishap, but Adam(with help) handles that situation.
Joshua Lassiter helps his younger body in some sticky situations. Samuel Lassiter is there as well to lend a helping hand when needed.
At first, Adam was trying to make and over jealous FBI agent upset about a woman he was interested in. However, Dr Nicolas had never forgotten Adam from a prior situation. Adam remembered her as well once he came to himself. The sparks are off the chart with those two and EVERY one could see it but them. However, once realization hit, it was on and popping for these two.
Many Secrets are revealed and lives are forever changed. Another great read Ms. Bolling.. I loved it..

Adam remembered her as well once he came to himself. The sparks are off the chart with those two and EVERY one could see it but them. However, once realization hit, it was on and popping for these two.

Hypnotic was entrancingly good
Hypnotic was another 5+ star story. Ms Bolling put her foot in this one. Adam the babybraniac took the lead in this story. He was hired by the FBI and then assigned to a case to catch the person who killed his mentor and fellow scientist. Adam invented a device that could be a WMD if it fell in the wrong hands. The rogue government agent met his match with Adam. Delightfully, Adam met his Sally; her name was Amber. Amber was his kindred spirit and immediately fell under one another's hypnotic entrancement. Along the way Joshua, Samuel and the crew make an appearance. This was a mystery, and a love story. Joshua is and always will be my fav.. Adam is running a tight second...
