You wouldn’t be able to pick Los Angeles out on a map if it weren’t for the Camdens.

Benny Camden was raised in a world of celebrity. He is the creator and producer of one of the trendiest shows on television. Audiences praise him, women love him, and his future has no limits.

But when his brother dies in the onset of the Vietnam War, Benny risks his reputation and career in an act of inflammatory protest that costs him dearly. As he rises in fame, his voice of change becomes one of shock and controversy. Outsiders see a Hollywood icon pushing the thresholds of cinema, not the crumbling man struggling for identity in a world of drugs and scandal.

The birth of his daughter changes everything. He cannot allow the burden of his family’s legacy to consume her as it did him. He must be a blessing to her, not a curse. She forces him to embrace the one thing he’s been running from his whole life: his name.

Will he be able to shield her from his past, or will he inflict on her the wounds his own father inflicted on him?

Spanning the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, Weston is an epic Hollywood saga spanning three generations – the first chapter of Gregory Attaway’s The Great Ones.

Such a great book! It start off a little slow for me but within the first 75 pages I was hooked. A generation book with history, Hollywood lifestyles, drama, drugs, and love. Loved the writing and instead of chapters its is writing by years and months! Such strong characters! Can't wait to read the next saga! The ending will leave you shaken and craving for more! 🖤
