Someone from their past wants them dead to hide a terrible secret. Can Deke protect her—can he even hold on to her? They have to find a way to survive, and Cassie has to find a way to keep a promise she made to her friend, Peaches when they were ten. She has to find Peaches’ family and reunite them. Will they both survive long enough or will their past swallow them and keep its secret for a little while longer?

About the author

I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

This is an MC read with not only sexy bad*ss bikers but a touch as hell woman who has one warning “Don’t Touch Me”. That is a fair motto for the life this woman has lived through since the age of three. As tough as it was she was the girl who tried to protect all the other children being held in this foster care home with a special lifelong protection of her best friend, Peaches. Nothing was better than when Cassie took out three bikers. As president of the Satan’s Spawn MC, Deke was amazed at the tenacity of this little spitfire and needed to learn more about her.

This story will break your heart and give you twists and turns that will have your head reeling. I loved Zeke and Cassie’s story and cannot wait to read more on this sensational couple.

Honestly, I had a hard time reading this. I ultimately did just to see how it ended. I did want to see how things ended with the characters. Mainly because throughout the book it is like the characters are bipolar. The characters are constantly doing and saying things in direct conflict with things they have said or done previously. Also, the way conversations are written, and the verbiage used seems forced and unnatural in many parts. The writing is choppy and redundant in places, and with far too many grammatical errors.
Typically I love the whole bad boy biker MC genre, but I will be hard pressed to read any more in this series.

This was an exciting story. Cassie has had a hard life growing up on the streets with her friend Peaches. When Peaches disappears, Cassie goes all out to track her down, which leads her to the Satan’s Spawn MC. Where she meets Deke, the man she may have to let down her guard too trust.
A well written story, full of twist and turns and hidden surprises that are astounding.
It’s an enjoyable story that I would Highly Recommend! It’s a great read!!

I like it when I can get my hands on MC read that has so many twist and turns it feels like I'm on a roller coaster with my emotions. I have come to really love Dahlen's work and cant get enough of it.

SO, I READ THIS BOOK PRETTY PERSISTENTLY BECAUSE I REALLY WANTED TO KNOW , EVERYTHING. SO WHEN I TELL YOU I LIKED THE BOOK BUT THEN ONLY GAVE IT 3 STARS, THAT HAS TO BE CONFUSING. BUT I COULDN'T RECONCILE MYSELF WITH THE STORY AND THE WRITING. IT WAS STILTED AT TIMES AND THE DIALOGUE FELT UNNATURAL. AND WE WOULD HURRY UP AND SWEEP OVER PARTS OF THE BOOK THAT COULD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN IN TO SOMETHING. SO I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL READ THE 2ND AND 3RD PARTS. STILL MAKING UP MY MIND. I AM LOATHE TO STOP BEFORE IT IS OVER BUT THE WRITING REALLY DISTRACTED ME FROM THE STORY.

It had so many unpredictable twists and turns I found myself at the edge of my seat.

I love reading MC books and this one is three stories in one. As with any good MC story you need a strong female lead who is strong and independent enough to attract the biker but still need some type of protection so that the biker is needed. Cassie is the perfect lead. She is strong and bada** and vulnerable. She and Peaches have been together since age 5 and been through he'll and back.
Duke is the hot alpha male who swoops in and is immediately attracted to Cassie. He is amazed by her strength and sees her needs as well.
The first book gives you the background into explains how Duke and Satan Spawns come to help and protect the girls.
Book two sees Cassie'so past that she thought was buried come back to life. Peaches finds her HEA, but Cassie'so is still in jeopardy.
Book 3 has both Cassie'so past coming back to endanger her unborn babies and Deke'so past stops the one thing he wants - marriage to Cassie.
This book is well written but I must say how much stuff can one person suffer and still stay "good"? I have to say by the end of hook 2 I didn't believe that Deke could protect Cassie no matter what he says.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

Trigger Warning

When a fiery redhead comes storming into his club, Deke is determined to discover her secrets! After her horrible childhood, Cassie is determined to protect her best friend. Neither expected love. Will Cassie be able to trust Deke enough to tell him her secrets? Will Deke be able to prove to Cassie she is lovable?

This was definitely a twisty ride that sucked me in. There were parts where I cringed and parts that you couldn't help but love both main characters. I loved the fact that while Deke was a hard man, he was determined to protect Cassie. Cassie while not knowing what love was, proved that she loved those around her wholly. Great MC read!

This is the first book in a new series from this extremely talented author, and is Deke and Cassie’s story. Deke is the president of his MC, and Cassie has had a dreadful life growing up on the streets with her best friend Peach’s. When Peach’s disappears, Cassie tries to track her down which leads her to the Satan’s Spawn. No spoilers; this is a must read for all MC lovers; you will not be disappointed! This is a beautifully written story which is flawless, and filled with twists, humour, and steamy scenes. I was totally captivated throughout, and look forward to reading the next book in this amazing series.

I really enjoyed this one, it built on the short story before hand.

I loved the mystery and the characters I would have liked Caddie to be a bit more fleshed out and the relationship between her and Deke, but it's was still good. I liked learning the little bits about the club and their life and I loved the relationship between Cassie and Peaches, it was so pure and just good.

I loved the fact that once Deke was sure about Cassie everyone else in the club felt the same... Barring one person... But she got justice...

I'm looking forward to the next book but I will be reading it on the nights and between other books

Ohmigod...this one literally hurts your heart. The storyline is difficult to take, but the characters keep you turning those pages as quickly as possible. So much emotion in this book...HEA? No one deserves a HEA more than Cassie and Peaches. If you’re looking for a MC read that is totally kickass—Satan’s Spawn is the book for you! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was blown away by it.)

I received volume one of Satan’s Spawn MC for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review: these are great, well paced stories. There’s heartbreak, passion, drama and even cornet. There’s plenty of heat and characters are well developed. Deke and Cassie have an emotional and suspenseful journey that would probably crush most couples and individuals. But these characters are so strong, yet fragile and had me cheering them on!

I was provided an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.....
When I originally read this, these 3 stories were all one l-o-n-g book. Separating them into 3 was brilliant. Reading them again was so much easier since I was able to take a break on this roller coaster. Deke and Cassie are well written, compelling characters, and her story will break your heart. I love this series, love these characters, the story is well paced, and definitely drains you into the next book. Great read!!!

The meeting of these two people and the actions that they take should enthrall readers, mixed in with romance and danger. The author takes us on a journey but shows that compassion and goodness mixed with a little bit of badass can make great reading

Exciting read with twists, turns, deception, violence, chemistry, and love. The storyline is dark and well-written, both the H/h are kickass and the accompanying cast of characters will prove to be worthy of their own stories. There is one very bumpy road to their HEA. Actually three books in one. The storyline was well written and the characters were so well described and developed. Enjoyable and worth the read.
They manage to find out to enjoy their journey.

This is one of the most emotional books I’ve read with MC’s involved. Cassie and Peaches have been through so much in their lives, but they’re stronger than you’d expect any normal 22 year old to be. The chemistry between Deke & Cassie is spicy, but them holding back to protect themselves and one another is both sweet & romantic. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

After hearing about Cassie's background, Deke wants to protect her and Peaches. There story is told over three books. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Oddly enjoyable

I gave the story three stars because even though the story itself was ridiculous I really enjoyed the characters, lots of detail lots of color but the story itself was childish. So. I probably read more from this author in hope the stories will make more sense than this one.

This book was pretty unpredictable and I enjoyed that. It's hard to get into a story when you can predict every single twist and turn. I love the strong female lead. And that's definitely Cassie. And almost nothing beats an alpha male and Deke is definitely that! This books gives major background that sets the story-line up. Definitely intrigued enough to continue to read on.

This book kicked some ass. I fell in love with this story and characters. The events that transpired were tragic but forced Cassie & Peaches to be hard core and resilient. Cassie having a heart of gold is ultimately what makes Deke fall so hard. I'm happy to say there are more books in this series and I can't wait to dig further into the Satan's Spawn MC. Loved this book my fave part was that spitfire aka Cassie is so tough and if anyone touched her she could put them down in seconds but she let deke in. Her past was so detailed you could feel her pain. This is one of the books that will stay with me for a long time

I read Spawn & Spitfire within the Vol 1 boxset. This MC read is a bit different than I'm used to and I loved it.

There are so many twists and turns you will be on the edge of your seat wanting more.
