Good book for beginners.
Needs more pictures.
Confusing in places but explains charts very well.

Book could use an overhaul
The instructions are understandable and easy to follow; however, there are quite a few grammar issues such as run on sentences and typos. I still might have given the book 4 stars if not for the really bad pictures. The colors used were ugly, and the crocheting was of poor quality. I don't expect perfection, but when reading an instruction book you do want aesthetically pleasing colors and well executed pieces. Unfortunately, the crochet looked like it was done by a beginner with very uneven stitches and poor color sense.
