No real passion....

It was so mechanical and not romantic at all. It spent way too much time saying the name of the different world and plants that I became sick of it. Pass on this mess.

An entertaining read!

I enjoyed the story but it lacked something. It is very hard to say what but I really feel it lacked passion. I felt the narrative was more tell than show and therefore the characters weren't totally convincing in their feelings towards each other. The storyline was really promising but some questions remained unanswered. I think I prefer Juno Wells Draconian series. But still an entertaining read!

Sophie should have read the contract a little closer. Her agreement to be an ambassador to Mirrotirik requires a lot more commitment than she expected. In order to perform her duties, she will need to marry the general she is assigned to work with on the project.

They both honor their agreement but it is uncomfortable to marry a stranger. Their actual project is very interesting to Sophie. She learns about their alien technology and they begin to get closer. The problem is that the project comes with a lot of danger too.

It is an enjoyable story and a quick read. I had read other stories from the author and really enjoyed them too. I do wish there had been more opportunity for the couple to spend time developing their romance and not as much focus on the assignment. I loved the pleasure garden in the other book. It was a very intriguing idea and we only get a brief mention in this one.

I received and ARC in return for an honest review. Sophia has signed to be an Ambassador for the Mirrortirik. The money she received will allow her Mom to live a comfortable retirement. The drawback is that she must do whatever they want including marry and alien before she can leave the planet on a mission and be exposed to their most guarded secret.
Their first assignment is to learn to communicate with a species who use sound outside of normal hearing to communicate and that is the easy part. The soon learn that another species is interested in the planet too so they must also find a way to defend the natives and themselves from danger. Another great read and I can't wait for the next book.

Sophie has been accepted into the Ambassadors program with the aliens from Mirrotirik. Unfortunately, there is a catch, in order to be trusted with their most important technology, Sophie will have to marry General Myral. Wow, a tough decision, but an opportunity to visit new worlds. Fantastic book!

I received this ARC free from the authors in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! This story was full laughter. Some scary moments. But it was mostly about connecting intimately with your spouse, even if you had to marry a alien general because of the business contract you signed. Plus the adventure you went on. Fantastic written. And the ending was wonderful. I was given this story for a honest review.

You know a book is going to be good when you're mouth literally drops open for the first chapter. Then I laughed so hard at what happened next. It has suspense, humor and drama in a vast universe. So loved this story, it has to be read more than once. Recommended read.

Was a quick read, but I enjoyed it. Fast moving storyline. Sophie's been hired as an Ambassador and needs to help find a way to communicate with another alien species, she just didn't think she'd have to marry the General to have access to their technology. I like reading Juno's books and look forward to more.

Cute

This was so cute. I like this book better than the last one because everything was explained in the first book. There was more focus on the couple. It was cute.
