Katie’s not the usual rich girl and Morgan’s not your typical biker. The two collide at a bar, and again after Morgan leaves the scene of a terrible crime.
Falling for one another is inevitable, but when the truth of who Katie is comes out, will it change everything?
Romance genre: MC Series: Fortune Riders Length: 218 pages
Plot: Katie works for her dad but nothing she does is good enough for him. She meets Morgan by accident one day, and they're both taken with the other. But Katie doesn't want him to know who she is, and Morgan has a lot going on with his club, so is now even the right time for them? We'll see as the club is besieged and Katie finds herself in the middle of it.
Commentary:Billionaire Biker actually ended at 55%. The rest of the book is a (surprise) different novel "included free as a thank you." That's a little annoying. Okay, a lot, and this isn't the first time this author has done that in a book of hers that I've read. The story wasn't strong enough to withstand my annoyance at the marketing/publishing shenanigans. Little things like a character saying “Keep the sunny side up, Morgan.” when the expression is "shiny side up" - just shows a lack of familiarity with the MC lingo that could be solved by either reading more examples of the genre or doing some more research.
Kathleen Wilkes aka Katie meets with Morgan in the orphan bar just for a pint of whiskey before going back to work. Her father,Blake Wilkes,is a cold hearted, controlling, man who is only interested in grooming Katie to take over the company and continuing the family's name. The chance meeting with Morgan however has Katie rethinking her life, finding pleasure in all the simple things, pizza, beer, dog shelters etc.The lost of her brother before she was born due to being kidnapped and left alone in the dark when the ransom was paid lead to his death and his death.this book was an okay read, but not one that would make me want to continue with the series

I was surprised to see that there were two short novels in this one download. Both were enjoyable but I liked the first one better. I wasn't aware the stories were so short but like I said it was a nice quick read. It didn't make one of my favorites lost though unfortunately. I like the storylines but with it being so short it felt as if too much was missing from the storyline.
I really enjoyed this first book of the series especially since it was free. I don't appreciate the fact that half of the download was another book leading into another series. Seems to be a new practice of many of the authors these days. I enjoyed this book enough to consider purchasing book 2 until I saw the price of $3 for under 200 pages. Nope, sorry can't do it.
Awesome read, can't wait to read the next two books in this series. Loved how Katie finally quit and stood up for herself against her dad. Loved how Morgan was and is willing to give Katie a chance. Read the preview for book two and can't wait to start it. It's sad the way Katie's dad Blake treats her and how even though Katie voice her feelings to him he still brushed them off. Good read !!!
This book was really good for a short story . Katie is the typical rich girl but only one problem she don't care to be a spoiled child . And she goes into a biker bar to get away from her dads eyes and that is where she meets Morgan, the prez of the Orphan's . This book is really funny and not all you think it will be look forward to reading next story
Book Review: Billionaire Biker: Bad Boy Alpha Motorcycle Romance (Fortune Riders) Author: Lexy Timms Four Stars This is a first time read for author Lexy Timms by me. I am new to Motorcycle Club books and I really do enjoy them. This one was a bit different as it wasn't centered on the bad boy of the club. It actually follows the female lead and she is a billionaire's daughter. She lies to Morgan about who she is because she doesn't want to have him treat her like a spoiled rich girl. Katie is not happy in her life and since she's met Morgan she wants to be someone different. Will Katie be able to get away from her current life and make a life of her own? I am eager to get started on book two. Very quick read. Kelli Harper
I was pleasantly surprised by this. I wasn't expecting much but this was a good start.
I did like that Katie stood up to her family and walked away. So many times in stories such as these they worry about leaving behind all the high-end life and not about how they are being treated I also liked that Morgan didn't hold grudges. He could have and didn't so points for him. I do think there is a lot left to tell and hopefully the second book is similar.
Plus always lets hear it for a girl who can shoot and wades into the fray instead of hides...
Billionaire Biker: Bad Boy Alpha Motorcycle Romance (Fortune Riders...
I wish I could rate this book more than five stars cause once you start reading you don't have to read the whole first chapter before you know you are not going to want to put the book down . You are going to read with the book in your hand while you are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner . Then you are going to stay up late so you can finish the book cause you are caught up and lose track of the time . So yes this is a must read book get your copy today !!! ENJOY your read 😝
I liked Katie and Morgan. They make a good couple. Katie is hiding the fact that she is extremely rich from Morgan, at least until she knows him better. She starts out thinking he may be after her money if he knew who she was. Naturally, when the secret comes out it's at the worst possible time. She gets caught in the middle of a gang war between MC's. They sort off get their HEA, but you won't find out until the next book.
Katie and Morgan are complete opposites but opposites attract. They meet in a bar and instantly feel it. They continue to meet but what happens when he finds out she is a daughter to the billionaire? She kept it secret first because you can't trust anyone and then because she didn't want to lose what they had.
What would you be willing to give up for your freedom? Katie has been asking herself that for years, and when she walks into Morgan's bar she is willing to give it all up for a ride on the back of his bike. Morgan doesn't need another troublesome woman but there is something about Katie when she walked into his bar. Love this story line.
Katie Wilkes is a "Poor Little Rich Girl" at least that's she thinks about her life. She goes into the Orphan Pint Bar for a drink and she meets Morgan the owner of the bar and the president of a motorcycle club. This book has a lot going on and ends with a cliffhanger making me want to get the next in the series. Very enjoyable read.
Oh the columns that society puts people in, Seldom do we fit . A awesome look at a couple of people who don't fit in those neat tidy columns. A interesting ride into dangerous situations .For goodness sake get the set you need the whole story.
Surprise, surprise. This story is a cliffhanger! Supposedly it is book 1 in a 3 book series but in reality, it's the cliffhanger starter to a poorly written tale. Rich chic meets biker, blah blah blah. Over done times a thousand. Wasted my time. Best thing about this book? It was free.
Katie may be a little unusual for a rich girl but Morgan is a typical biker. There may be a couple of interesting angles to the story but not much has come of them yet. Of course, you have to read the next two books... Not a bad read but not great either.
Sassy rich girl meets alpha biker , this book has plenty of twists and turns, a little intrigue and romance, enough to keep your interest right from the start. I can't wait to read the next installment.
I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks of this title.
A young woman wanders into a biker's bar and catches the eye of the club's captain. As the story unravels, you find that being rich, isn't what it's cracked up to be.
This has been a pleasant short story with a millionaire and the biker. The pace of the story is fast and interesting though the plot is not unique. The story contains erotic scenes. And the narrators and the narrators were very pleasant and sweet.
Very upsetting loved how it started and then it stopped. Who the hell does that. I was rooting for Katie and Morgan. It's says there are 218 pages but YIKES there is not. Short changed and a frickin cliffhanger.
I wasn't aware the stories were so short but it was a nice quick read. It didn't make one of my favorites list unfortunately. I like the storylines but with it being so short it felt as if too much was missing.
Why did I read this? Maybe because it was free? In any case, it was a sex at first sight kind of book, which I skimmed. This is more like a novella, which I didn't expect but am glad because it was short. Definitely not interested in reading the next one. Plot was ok but not my thing.
