Hated the ending
Once again desirae is portrayed as the victim. She was not a good person. So to c her get her happily ever after pissed me off. I believe in karma, she didn't get her karma. The author referred to her as a strong woman. That confused me cause that's not what I saw at all. Any woman who would degrade herself to being a side chick is not a strong woman. She is weak. Desirae had no motivation, working at family dollar. I mean it's a job, but with two kids u r supposed to want more. How about going back to school to get an education. As far as d man saying tron should be taking care of her because she has his children is crazy. He doesn't owe her anything. All he has to do is provide for and spend times with his sons, not take care of her. That's where people get it twisted, a man is not obligated to take care of u because he has children with u. I didn't like the games she played with tron. She mad at him because she got beat up for sleeping with someone's husband, why would he help her, she deserved that. Her not answering the phone and not letting him c the boys is playing games. She was too stuck on her looks and body. If that's all up have to offer a man and r ok with that being all he sees in u, then something is wrong with u. It's supposed to be deeper then that. She mistook torn calling her phone about his sons as him calling to b with her. That's chopstick on herself she was in reality he just wanted sex from her because that's all she was good for. I'm not going to say torn was the best dude but he wasn't all bad. A man can only do what u allow. Desirae whored herself out to tron so what did she expect back in return? Her getting her dad involved to knock tron out was wrong. No he should not have been disrespecting her but look how she carried herself. Respect is earned. If u act like a hoe that's how u get treated. I know a father protects his daughter but he should have realized it was more to the story. Tron wasn't acting like that for no reason. I wish the character tyrese could have evolved some. I would have liked to c some more stuff with him and nalique. I wanted tron and shawna to work it out. He did love her. The fact that she sucked d mann off on the first date makes her a hoe but she the victim? She wonder why dudes come at her the way she does, that should have made d mann think more clearly. Everybody does not have it in for desirae. That's why I was so bothered that the actor portrayed her the way she did. I hated the ending. This could have been a really good series, but the author dropped the ball at the end. It's like she got tired of writing and was just done. I would have liked to know what happened with all the characters including shauna sister. I really didn't c the need for nalique to be in this book. Nothing came out of it. Maybe it was too many characters. I would have liked to c desirae work on herself or finally open her eyes and realize what she was. This victim role just didn't sit well with me at all.

So glad I read these books for free. First book seemed interesting enough so I had to get through with it. First off, the main characters just fell off. What happened with Shawna and Tron after she spent time with Ebony. I thought Tron was going to wait for her. Second, how did the twins names change from Austin and George to James and Titan in the 5th book? 3rd, the 6th book had Nalique talking about her fight with Diamond in the first book. I thought Diamond fired off the shots. Finally, I didn't like the fact that there were so many misspelled words and how the author dragged on the series. There are so many unfinished parts. Disappointed.

Wack wack and more wack I'm sorry what was the purpose of having a part 6?The story was repeating itself and super rushed.The ending sucks with no real ending they got Desiare playing victim when her no good ass was a side chick and proud of it. If I could get my money back for all 6 books I would be happy

Horrible ending to a promising series.

I feel like Shawna should have been the one with the ultimate happy ending. Desirae didn’t deserve her happy ending. She was a horrible person from the beginning and didn’t change. Her body, which is the only reason people tolerated her nasty, conceited attitude, made her too full of herself. I had such a strong dislike for her. She didn’t have one good, redeeming quality to her. Ugh.

Under 40%
The end of the book came at just under 40% of the novel. The sneak peek of the next novel was nice but after going through 6 books for a story that could have been told on 2 at most. This doesn’t make me feel encouraged to continue to read. I did love the overall story arch. The end was very rushed. Went direct from the climax to the end within two to three paragraphs. Not sure of how the book is but the author has taken just need to fine tune a few things.

I didn’t review the 5 books before this one because I just couldn’t wait to read the next book! I felt so bad for Desirae but she finally got her happy ending. Tron really messed up but at the same time you couldn’t help but feel bad for him... or even an attraction lol. This is really something worth reading!!!!

Wow!
Desires character switched up on me. She was a little too fast in the ass these last books compared to when she was with Tron. The last few books were sooooo juicy. I wonder what happened with Reese and Tron. Good series.

Not enough
The only reason i gave this rating is because none of the books are finished Im guessing that there samples. Didnt like but the side chick 1-6 was a good read. Thought it could have ended better

Good read except the last book
I felt like it was a good series overall but I really didn't like the ending of book six. It just seemed rushed and didn't quite end well. Icwas definitely disappointed with book 6. Just could have been way better to me

Wow, this story went from a side chick to a killer! I think the ending was rushed. Overall, it was a good read! Glad Desirae was no longer a side chick!

At first book started a bit off but I got sucked into it desirea was something else's it was a good series the end seemed a bit rushed I would like to know if Reese and Tyrone stayed together and how shawna is but overall good read great story line

I love the way things worked out for Desirae!
Desirae made a lot of crazy choices in life. I'm glad she finally got herself together! This ending really surprised me!

I was a little scared for Des towards the end . I wonder why we never heard more from Shanna but hey . Tron I'm glad that he was there for Des because D man was shady as hell .

Finally it's over! This final book was a short one thank God. The ending was okay but I'm sure Desirae is still Desirae.
