So I actually sat on this review overnight to give my brain the opportunity to process what I just read because I was flummoxed. Sexy Beast, the first of the three books in this series was like reading two books, something that surely couldn't be written by the same author. The first half of the book, a poor attempt at a alpha erotic romance and the second half a passive aggressive personal beliefs rant. What the heck? So let's discuss the first half....BJ is a drug dealing man whore with really no redeeming qualities at all. Layla is a doormat that goes from hating BJ one day to having sexy times the next....I almost got whiplash from her about face with BJ. The sexy times are not well written, which is a problem for the first half of the book since that's all there really is. Why didn't I quit reading? I should have just quit reading....the second half of the book was just awful. I had to actually go back to make sure I was reading the same book...I reread the "about this book" too to make sure I didn't miss anything. I have no issues with an author writing about experiences or beliefs...I love the first amendment! What I don't like is being tricked into a book that I feel has a hidden agenda. I choose what I want to read about and what genres I enjoy. I hated the second half of the book. I get enough politics and beliefs forced down my throat on TV and the news...I read to get away, not get thrown into the middle of hot button controversial book. I don't know what to say except I will never read a book by this author again. I read Crystal Jake and it was barely a 3 star...and this is even worse. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice shame on me. Well, I will not be fooled again...this author is now on my never again list. I would not recommend this book one of the three book series and found no redeeming qualities in the characters and the plot was awful.

I love this author and would have given this five stars for the first two books, but she got tired in the third with some really lame dialog and shallowness that was disappointing. Worth reading anyway. BJ and Layla's story was terrific and so was Dominic's, but Shane's was forgettable.

Bj has longed for Layla since he was 14 they are both from gypsy families & the families have just reached a truce.
They however keep their relationship a secret to begin with.
The story is very emotional & sexy as sin the spark between them is electric.
The story is a has a great ending & has an ending however there are other stories about the family we are able to purchase.
I'm trying kindle unlimited so I'm making the most & loaning the full series

Gypsy Kings find their Queens... fantastic

If you haven’t already read the Eden (Crystal Jake) series I would definitely suggest that you do.... not only because it’s amazing but it sets up this series. If you have already met the delectable gypsy gangster, Jake, then you are going to love this follow on series that tells the story of Jake Eden’s two brothers, Dom and Shane and their sister Layla.

It starts with BJ and Layla’s story. A tale of angst and family feuds that have been years in the making. Despite their supposed hatred of each other, the draw between these two characters is so strong.

BJ Pilkington has longed for Layla since they were young, but the ongoing war between the Pilkington’s and the Eden’s has made their union forbidden. However, when BJ saves Jake after he is shot, the discord is lessened and the families agree to a truce of sorts. This is BJ’s opportunity try and get what he’s always wanted.. the beautiful, spirited Layla.

At first, to Layla, everything feels wrong... she’s supposed to hate him; to steer well clear. He’s dangerous, powerful and threatening. Not a man you should cross... but with Layla, he is completely different. As BJ’s intentions become clear, Layla can’t resist him and she realises that he is the sweetest taboo.

Eventually gaining their families approval they marry and discover that Layla is expecting their first child. They couldn’t be happier but when they receive earth shattering news about her pregnancy it feels like their whole world is falling apart. Layla and her babies life hang in the balance... can her faith and optimism overpower the impending diagnosis? Will BJ be able to let her fight her fight?

A fabulous tear jerker. At first I didn’t like BJ, but by the end of the book, I adored him. He’s just a big softy at heart who loves his woman so much he can’t bear to lose her.

The second story is about the troubled Dom. He’s hard, fiery and bad tempered... lost, broken and so damaged. So, when a stunning tax inspector named Ella walks into his restaurant, he is thrown into panic. The instant attraction has him floored, but his wounded heart is on fire. Could she be the one to ease his suffering? Could she be the one to finally let him feel again?

Ella is a moralistic and business-like professional woman. She’s there to do her job. To take down the tax dodging cheats and make them pay their dues. It isn’t usually an issue... but there is something about Dom that makes him alluring. He’s dangerous.. and she knows it... but something pulls her to him. The more she spends with him and listens to his take on the world of tax and finance, everything she thought she knew is turned on it’s head.

But there’s a threat looming... a dark voyeur with bad intentions. Can Dom fight his demons and allow himself to love in order to keep his woman safe?

Another great story... full of heartache, home truths and lots of love.

Then there’s Shane. Probably my favourite brother. He’s the cheeky, happy-go-lucky playboy that’s always had a bevy of beautiful women at his exclusive strip clubs... he’s always the light hearted brother. The voice of calm and reason. It’s a life he’s become accustomed to until one day an intoxicating exotic raven haired beauty walks through his club. He is immediately intrigued.

When he intercepts her return to her table he sees she is delicate, demure and daunted by his attention. The attraction is mutual, both feeling that desire, that temptation... but she’s not free to be his. As she reaches her table he sees the man that she’s with... and he knows him... it’s not good. It’s not good at all. Lenny is not a man to be trusted. He can instantly see the hold he has over her.

To Snow, Lenny is the man that saved her. Forever in his debt, she allows him to use her body for his pleasure, but she feels none herself. She’s afraid to displease him. He’s not in love with her... nor she with him... but she feels obligated. However, Shane is showing her a world of life, love and lovemaking she never dreamed possible. And wow, what a lesson she learns about lovemaking from the god that is Shane.

Shane sees her for who she wants to be; for who she could be with the right people to support her dreams. Someone like him. Definitely not Lenny. But can Shane convince her to leave Lenny’s care... or should that be control? What price must be paid for Lenny to relinquish his prize? Will he ever let her go?

I loved this story... Snow and Shane are such an adorable couple. Snows child like innocence isn’t at all annoying... it’s just endearing and Shane’s love for her is so palpable and magical. He would literally follow her to the ends of the earth. And he does.

This whole series is fabulous. I love these books and these gypsy kings will have a place in my heart as some of my favourite alpha males. They are rough, rugged gems that shine so bright. Fiercely loyal... family orientated and full of heart. Once they claim you, you’re theirs. Brilliant!!

Bad Boys of London: The Complete Gypsy Heroes...

Super phenomenal bundled read. These Eden brothers and sister are Fanfreakingtastic. The first book is Sexy Beast and it was Laya and BJ story. Sexy, dramatic and a little dark humor. They've circled each other for years. Their journey into happiness is tried time and time again. Be prepared to cry. The second book is Wounded Beast and it's Dominic and Ella story. He has a hurtful past and she's pretty judgemental. They fall for each other but the path to their love is literally filled with crazy obstacles. The babysitting situation was hilarious. Tingle worthy sex and action filled. The third book is Beautiful Beast it's Shane and Snow story and it is a hot emotional rollercoaster. It takes you there. Hella sexy, dramatic and unbelievably intense. All the books have songs and quotes in the chapters that just make the books all that and then some. Ms. Le Carre, I'm a fan.

I am going to keep this short and sweet.....Really enjoyed this series. I laughed, I cried and I couldn't put the kindle down! What great characters that Ms Le Carre created. Not only were they real their dialogue was real. A very well written series. If I could pick a fault I would say the first 2 books started off with too much sex and no real storyline. BUT....the rest of it was so good I had to keep my rating 5 star.

Good stories but a little too much extra.

The stories are cute, I found myself tuning out though when the characters seemed to all have soapboxes, a lot of political, medical and other beliefs get a lot of air time. Not wanting to give spoilers so just know that the first book ends with links and links to support lifestyle choices and by that point seemed more like a blog trying to convince the reader of a belief than a romance novel.

Not really sure about this series. The brothers in each book are supposed to be gypsy heritage but nothing really smacks of gypsy per se apart from the odd comment here and there in the book. Not sure if it’s gangsters, mafia, gypsy or any of those things. Just read about some incredibly good looking men all who fall for seemingly beautiful women and money is no object. No real brute, dark nastiness to read about at all. Easy read.

Loving the connection

I know I am reading all these books out of order, but I just love these family stories. I especially love all different types of women the alphas love. Not just your stereotypical blonde, blue eyes. All these family connections stories are so wonderful to read. The love these alpha have for each other and for their women just is so wonderful!!

I love almost all of this authors books and this collection is no different.
I loved BJ and Layla's story the most. The Eden brothers are pretty swoon worthy and sexy as hell.

Torn on whether this is a 3.5 or a 4. I liked Layla and Dom’s stories. But I didn’t care for Shane’s. I also did this backwards and read this before the Eden series (Jake’s story). Boy do I wish I didn’t do that. So if you’re like me, stop what you’re doing. Put this in your Want to Read shelf and go read Jake’s story first.
