Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
For those who think NCERT books are pretty elementary, they can give this book a try. A thoroughly challenging but engaging read for a person who wants to start with this subject. All the concepts are very scientifically explained which is necessary to develop an intuition (sometimes to contradict it too !). It is difficult to absorb the entire information in one go but still, this book manages to set a pretty solid foundation for the subject Psychology. If you have a knack for scientific explanations go for it.
=========== Re reading could lead to more insights. Giving it +1 star for being such an informative and compact package.
A wonderfully written book by NCERT. Kudos to all involved. Simple and brief yet detailed and logical. Recommended to all beginning to study psychology. Highly helpful. If you have a knack for scientific and logical explanations, NCERT is at your service. CBSE needs to prescribe this to more and more schools. Even this basic knowledge will really help teenagers deal with those raging hormones and emotions and help them get better control over their lives. Time well spent.
