I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Have to say that I just love some of the titles Dahlen has given her books. And I was so glad that I was able to get the full take in Cassie and what the deal was.

HOLY SHAKE DOWN!!!
Talk about one kick-ass chick. I love it. Dahlen adds another winner to her lists of accomplishments. She doesn't take any prisoners let me tell you. One thing I've come to expect is a suspense filled, action packed reads that hit the ground running. The characters are well developed and believable with personalities that play off one another in perfect balance. The scenes are vividly detailed that it paints a realistic backdrop that truly makes the storyline and strong plot come to life before your eyes. Always on edge, holding your breath waiting for the next show to drop. Thanks for another phenomenal read.

This is the fourth book in this series that gives us Cassie and Deke's romance. In this book once again as Cassie closes in on getting the family she's always wanted and finally getting the chance at actually being happy, it is all stolen from her. As strong as Cassie is and all that she's survived, you still begin to wonder how much more she can endure! This book offers plenty of drama, danger, passion, drama, action, surprises and twists. A entertaining book and series, that is gritty, dark and raw. I am posting a totally honest, voluntary review.

What a great follow up to Revenge & Retribution in the Satan’s Spawn MC series with Deke and Cassie. How many more people can crawl out of the woodwork that threatens Cassie?! But oh, my, she is one tough woman with a great sense of right and wrong. There is no way you can’t love her. Who wouldn’t want the tough as nails bad*ass biker who would die for you?
I have to say this was one MC series that I couldn’t put down and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for that special book that will keep your mind going on every page.

This was just an ok. read for me! Yes it had all the action, tension and suspense as the previous books. But I felt it was full of many repetitive parts of the plot, mainly Cassie and Peaches terrible past. It was repeated several times to different people....I didn’t need to read it up to 6 times, if not more....I skimmed them, and it was a bit over the top with injuries....in the end I was thinking “not again”.
A conclusion had to be written though, I wish the story had had more of a plot and depth.

Satan's Spawn book 4
I just love K.J. Dahlen's MC series so much. She tells the stories in such away as you feel like you are there. In book 4 Cassie once again reveals just how strong she really is. Even with all the stuff in her past she still manages to be positive person who encourages others in her life to give second chances and open their hearts to new beginnings and forgiveness. The world would be a better place if we all were just a little more forgiving and encouraging . I can reread the books countless times and still take something new from them each time.

As Cassie and Deke become closer to the arrival of their babies, both are struggling with pains of their pasts. Will Deke be able to forgive his father? Will Cassie's past come back for more?
These two have been through it all together and I was happy to see them get their brand of happy ever after. I didn't blame Deke for his reactions to his father, but did agree that they were alike. I was proud of how strong Cassie showed she was once again. Good read!

When she has to deliver her babies when she is put in jeopardy it is Deke's estranged father that saves Cassie and it's her generous heart that tries to mend his.
This series is worth the Read.

This was another great installation of Satan's Spawns! Sam doesn't want his son to marry a gold digger, after he stops the wedding between Deke and Cassie, he has her taken to "Get To Know" her. Not knowing her past, things quickly go downhill! Then Cassie has more family, crawl out of the woodwork! This series has been a roller coaster ride, full of twists and turns! Bad relatives, bad cops, bad care givers! But Good people too! Family isn't always blood!

I received volume one of Satan’s Spawn MC for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review: these are great, well paced stories. There’s heartbreak, passion, drama and even cornet. There’s plenty of heat and characters are well developed. Deke and Cassie have an emotional and suspenseful journey that would probably crush most couples and individuals. But these characters are so strong, yet fragile and had me cheering them on!

K.J. Dahlen has amazed me with incredible series and the best part is the storyline will continue. You can catch up on all of these superbly crafted characters in the additional books in the series. There is everything to love about this MC Series as well as K.J.'s wonderful mind.

Since in actuality I'm reading the box set by Dahlen so these books have been concurrent for me, I have to say I'm slightly glad it's over. I won't say it hasn't been an enjoyable ride, but one persons body cannot be abused or kidnapped that often and still live on. It become unrealistic to a point. I love the premise; determination, perseverance, mind over matter. Eventually it becomes too unreal for those amazing lessons to be seen. Happy Reading!!!

Exciting read with twists, turns, deception, violence, chemistry, and love. The storyline is dark and well-written, both the H/h are kickass and the accompanying cast of characters will prove to be worthy of their own stories. There is one very bumpy road to their HEA. This series is very well done. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Once again Cassie thinks her life is perfect. Shes pregnant, about to be married... But again something is there to push her back down.
I just want her to get her HEA with Deke and her baby. Can she ever get it? I'm hooked with this series, I cannot stop reading it.

These poor guys can’t win for losing. This is a true show of strength in families. With everything they’ve been through so far, these two have a few more hurdles to jump through before they can get their HEA. This book will keep you on your toes and leave you happy as a lamb. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is the continuation of Deke and Cassie’s story. Deke’s father Sam is on the scene, and is making life very difficult for Deke and Cassie. Cassie is still haunted by her past, and danger is around every corner. This is a phenomenal series, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, and I highly recommend her work for all MC lovers out there.

I couldn't get enough of Deke & Cassie. She has spunk which made for a great story...lol. Such a great book. Am voluntarily leaving a review for an advance review copy of the book. And looking forward to reading more in this series. Wow. Love my MC books.

Babies & Bastards is the conclusion to MC president Deke and his old lady Cassie. Must read previous books to know what going on. I thought the story was okay, but to be honest I'm so over these two. How much more can happen to them?

This exciting story had me all caught up in Deke's and Cassie's life. Deke tries to keep his father away from Cassie and in doing so his father takes her but when he finds out who she is things change and that is good because there is a more pressing danger to Cassie. Once again, the MC has to unite to keep Cassie and the children safe. Its a great story that drew me in and had me connecting with Cassie as she tries to keep a clear head against the danger at hand.

Fantastic story
If you are able to suspend disbelief and just enjoy the amazing imagination of the author, then you are for a treat. All three stories have a kick a$$ heroine, plenty of turns and twists to keep you engaged to the last page! If you can't suspend reality, then this book is not for you. Most of it is over the top but I truly enjoy each book.
