Chance Vix -- what kind of maniac rips down a straightaway at more than two hundred miles an hour on a motorcycle which, oh by the way, costs more than a mansion?

What kind of brute crushes all challengers, decimates rivals and has owned the crown of one of the world's most deadly sports for years? What kind of stud leaves women everywhere desperate for his attention, willing to do almost anything to try and tame him?

I'll tell you what kind. The most mouth-watering, heart-stopping, daredevil of a head-to-toe hunk I'd ever laid eyes on in my life - that's what kind.

And me? Well, let's just say good girls from Indiana don't wind up with guys like Chance Vix. Ever. No. Nope, never happens.

Unlike Chance, I'd taken the slowlane through life, playing it safe the entire time. And what had it gotten me? An end to a five-year relationship with my accountant boyfriend slash wanna-be rocker who spent more time playing gigs than sleeping with me.

When an unplanned trip to an exotic locale, far removed from midwest gloom, brought Chance and me together, I had no idea how much my life would change.

Could I hold on? Was I crazy to even try?

☆ I received an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆

Grade: B- - C+

In entirety, I liked this third installment but it did struggle with what I felt was plot continuity and originality for the most part.

The book synopsis was what had brought me in, not to mention reading the previous two books in the series, but execution wise this one was a so-so type of read for me. It had potential and does have some highlights and even steamy moments that worked for it, but all in all, some of what unfolded was a bit lackluster for me a bit.

I guess it’s that nature of living life in the fast lane and the delicate nature of how fast things can accelerate or burn to the ground. It was exciting at times, yes, but at the same time it also would shift drastically.

I’m not at all saying that this is a bad book guys. I did actually in my own way enjoy it. But as a reviewer, I do feel that it is my duty to be honest and be as constructive (well, if I was at all) as I could be. Not a bad read!!

Burn is my favorite, so far, in the Fastlane Series. I felt this installment had a much better storyline and more relateable characters as opposed to Thrust. I enjoyed Vivie's strength, although there were times I questioned it. She appeared to flip/flop, for me, with regard to that characteristic. I did find it honorable how she felt she needed to stand up and handle her problems alone. She didn't ever want to bring other people in or trouble them with her troubles. It was both a good trait as well as a bad one. She never knew when to ask for help and a lot of her stress could have been avoided or even alleviated a bit.

Chance Vix is the sexy motorcycle racing brother to Dyson Vix who is featured as the Indy racer in the first book of the series, Surge. He was charismatic and sexy but I don't think the story provided enough character development for him. Had I not read Surge, I would have been left not knowing anything about him, aside from him racing motorcycles and the very little of his past that was revealed toward the end. No background provided of his upbringing, family life. The same goes for Vivie, but being as the POV was more from her, we get more of her story vs the few glimpses we get from Chance.

Sloan Storm is a great writer and has a tremendous knack for being descriptive enough within the story to give a clear picture of the characters actions; however, I feel there is a trend in a lack of description when it comes to the characters actually falling in love. I understand they tend to be fast paced love affairs in this series, but it's missing a chunk of the story that enables me to see the characters in the act as they fall in love and make that realization within themselves. The characters don't spend enough time (physically) to warrant a love based on a sexual lust and I don't feel they spend enough time with any emotional connections to support feeling "Love".

Depending on the storyline, and the characters within each story will depend on the degree in which I was able to connect. As for Burn, I did connect better with the story and characters than I did with the two previous books.
Other than missing that “un je ne sais quoi“, the story was enjoyable and kept me turning the page in search of that HEA.

From the very beginning, I have been a fan of the Fastlane series - the men are fast, bold and know what they want, while the women are the type that we can easily relate to since she isn't the cover model of playboy or the stepford wife, but rather the woman who known her worth, still worries about her flaws and manages to balance her day to day schedule that seems never ending. I've followed Sloan Storm since I've picked up her Slipperless series in 2015 and then her full length series, which, might I add, are nothing that I could have imagined! The stories get more interesting, the couples more heart tugging and if that weren't enough, the emotional train ride is one that I couldn't seem to get off of: one minute I'm laughing, the next angry, frustrated, saddened and the list goes one - yet I wouldn't want it any other way. In Burn we meet Chance Vix, a motorcycle junkie who is both arrogant and cocky and wants nothing to do with the paparazzi - he is however a man that knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it, which happens to be Camille. When he needs help during his rehab, he makes her an offer she can't refuse. Camille on the other hand, is a woman who was madly in love with her man that had told her had cheated on her and got another pregnant. Upset, and having been given the contract to interview Chance, she drops everything to get to the bottom of her relationship and find out what happened - until Chance offers an opportunity she might not be able to refuse. The Fastlane series simply get better and better, and Burn is no exception. The chemistry is undeniable and I loved the storyline. I won't hide the fact that I've been a fan of Sloan Storm's since the very first time I've picked up the Slipperless series, but it's not one author to overlook as each novel simply surpasses the previous one each and every time.

Wow...I thought Dyson was sexy hot and his story was phenomenal.... Chance= By far the hottest one!!

Chance is introduced as arrogant and cocky in the beginning. He completely hates everything to do with the press and tries to avoid interviews at all costs. He wants to constantly be at the track and going fast. He loves speed. After reading and getting more insight into his character we see a different side of him.

Vivie is a sexy strong female who mostly wants a life of happiness. She is in a relationship with Kevin who she feels is going to propose "anytime" since they have been together for a long time. She thinks everything is going great with them but starts seeing a difference in Kevin's behavior. He stays out all the time and is very vague on where he is going or where he has been. Then he starts avoiding all affection toward her and she feels their relationship is on the fast track of crashing and burning. Well Vivie gets a call from her sister Camille, who does interviews and writes stories...aka Journalist, who goes on to tell Vivie how she is being sent to Spain to interview Chance Vix, unlike his brother Dyson a professional race car driver..Chance races motorcycles. Camille wants Vivie to go with her and after mentioning to Kevin about going she ends up going to Spain with her sister. Vivie really knows something is up with Kevin by him not arguing about her spending a ton of money on a trip to Spain with her sister but she goes anyways hoping when she returns things will work out with Kevin. While in Spain Vivie does get to meet Chance and sparks fly but she fights them with everything she can...because in her mind she feels she is still in a relationship with Kevin but yet her heart and body want Chance. Vivie and Chance both fight their feelings but more so Vivie because she is still in a relationship with Kevin as she sees and really wants to make it work. Camille gets a call from David, her husband, saying their marriage is over and is filing for divorce so she tells Vivie to stay and do the interview that she can't. After some persuasion she stays and ends up on a emotional few days with Chance getting to know him and fighting what is happening and also dealing with her relationship problems at home. She, to, while in Spain gets word her relationship is ending and ends up herself rushing home to try to fix things.

Chance wants more time with Vivie and after an accident that leaves him having to do some therapy he gives Vivie an opportunity she can't refuse. $10K to come spend some time with him, do the interview and basically have a backstage pass to all the dirt. He really likes her and can't get enough. Vivie agrees and ends up on a wild fast ride with Chance with no way of stopping easy. They grow closer and closer but just when they things are going smooth.....things crash.
Vivie gets herself in a very complex situation that brings challenges to surface for her and therefore causes conflict between her and Chance but with a bit of honesty, good lawyer and determination things get straightened out and a win in the end.

This book has it everything: problems on the race track, cheating husbands, cheating boyfriends, banter, sexy hot scenes, crime, and passion. Sloan has done another remarkable job with another well written book. I couldn't put it down from the moment I started it. I really recommend this to everyone.

“When her hand pressed against me, my entire body flexed. Vivie was such a beauty. While she reached up to put her luggage away, I stepped into the aisle and took a good long look. What I would give to get my hands on those curves, run my fingers through that silky brown hair and stare into her green eyes while I…..her.”

5 burn me stars!! Obsessed with this series!

Chance and Vivie are by far my favorite book couple! They are hot together!! Chance is used to living life in the fast lane while Vivie is a slow and steady kind of girl and when these two are thrown together, it’s a mess of epic proportions and it is one heck of a ride! Hold on to your seat when you read this, you’re going to need it!

When Vivie goes to Spain with her sister Camille she meets the hot Chance Vix. Chance doesn't like the media at all and has to leave the interview and promises the next day to give his interview. Back at the room Camille gets so disturbing news and has to leave leaving Vivie there to meet with Chance. Chance sees Vivie and what chance wants Chance gets but Vivie has a boyfriend which I can't wait until she ditches him. When Chance gets in an accident and has to go to NYC he meets Vivie on the plane ride home and will do anything to spend time with her. With meeting in NYC Vivie now single gives into Chance And that night will change their lives.

Chance & Vivie

Oh my what an amazing read this book was! It's the first time I've read a book by this author and I wasn't disappointed. I absolutely love Chance he is a word champion in MotorGP and he falls for Vivie who he meets due to her sister needing to write an article on Chance and Lorcan's rivalry. This book made me laugh but it also made me cry especially nearer to the end (don't want to spoil it), been a fan of MotorGP you understand the danger these riders put themselves through everytime they go out on to the track and this was clear in this book by the author.

The Fastlane Series books are stand alone romance novels featuring unique lovers and happy endings. No cliffhangers! Burn is Chance and Vivie's story and is Book #3 in the Fastlane Series.

Review:

I am pretty sure that I have read every one of Sloan Storm’s books, and I will continue to be on the lookout for her future books. Burn, like her other books grabs your attention from the very first page. If you are reading one of her books be prepared for unusual twists, hot sexy, men, and action in and out of the bedroom.

Although the plot of the first two books of the Fastlane series focused on Race car drivers, this book follows a motorcycle racer. There is so much going on in this book. Problems on the race track, cheating husbands, cheating boyfriends. Hot sex, and more. The fast action will keep you turning the pages faster than a qualifying heat. The chemistry between Chance and Vivie is there from the first time that they met in Spain, but Vivie fights it. Hoping that when she gets home she can work things out with her boyfriend of 5 years. However some relationships are meant to fade away while others put you and the fast track to happiness. The pacing of this story is just like the motorcycles races, fast and dangerous. The ending had me on the edge of my seat till the end. The character development not only showed up how this couple’s relationship developed, but the true colors of the Vivie’s boyfriend. Another great book added to the Fastlane series. Can’t wait to see what is next.

First off, many thanks to the author, who provided a free copy of Burn in exchange for an honest review. This reader found this book to be Sloan’s best book to date.

Tired of her dead end relationship, Vivi tags along as her sister, a journalist, travels to Italy. Her sister is scheduled to interview Chance Vix, a motorcycle racer at the top of his game and career. His violent rivalry is the talk of the racing world as a newcomer racer nips at the heels of the veteran champ. Unfortunately, before her sister can secure the interview, a bombshell is dropped on the women, causing Vivi to find herself holding the bag. Her sister begs Vivi to conduct the interview, while she races back home to try to put her life back together.

Vivi has no experience with journalism, but takes on the challenge. Thankfully, Chance had taken a shine to her at a previous meeting, and soon offers her an exclusive scoop - but with one condition. She, and she alone, will be his contact. The spark between these two is immediate and incendiary, and despite Vivi’s misgivings she soon finds herself drawn to the flame.

This is a great book. The storyline flows well, and there are no draggy parts to be found. I enjoyed the fact that there was actual racing in this book. It provided a great second storyline between the drama going on in Vivi’s life back in Indy. And, oh the drama. Sloan’s characterizations have taken a step up in this tale. Vivi was the first female lead of her’s that I have truly liked. Yeah, there was a few times that I wanted to smack her, but for the most part, she was a great relatable character. Chance was very well done also, he was was blunt and authoritative without being a jerk. His interactions with his fellow racers and manager was some of the best in the book. He’s at the top of his game, he knows what he wants, and goes after it. I have no problem with that. Even the secondary characters were well drawn; by the end of the book you felt like you knew them. Maverick, man….I was fond of him.

Had Vivi been given just a bit more spine, it would have been a five star read for me. I found a few spots where she created more problems for herself by trying to cover up what was going on in her life when it would have been so much simpler just to tell it like it was. Why create drama for yourself? Even so, I found myself cheering at one point in the book when she finally “pulls the trigger” and stands up for herself.

A sudden trip overseas with her sister, Vivie Carmichael meets a man that captures her attention like nothing she'd ever experienced. But she's been in a long term relationship and isn't looking for someone else. Her relationship is on it's last leg, but she'll do everything she can to make to work.

Chance Vix is having the best year of his career and girls are throwing themselves at him. He got a feud going on the track that the press is eating it up, but he detest talking with the media. Chance is immediately taken with Vivie but she isn't interested entertaining his advances.

Once back home, Vivie's life takes an unexpected turn when her boyfriend dumps her and tells her some pretty heartbreaking things. This is just what she needed on top of everything going on with her sister. But Chance has a proposition that just might make things seem just a bit brighter.

The two spend several weeks together and their relationship grows. Vivie's self confidence is starting to rebuild thanks to Chance. But just as their relationship is starting, Vivie gets news that shakes to the core. Running back home and deal with her sister's situation is tough enough, but some things spin out of control in her life.

Missing her flight to spend time with Chance, he doesn't know what has keep Vivie from joining him. After several attempts to contact her have failed, he decided to give up and walk away.

Vivie's life is crazy but she's received some startling news, so she will risk it all to get to Chance and explain to him everything that has been going on. But will Chance let her explain and forgive her, or has too much time passed and he's through with her for good?

This book is an adrenaline rush of excitement and sexual tension. The way Chance takes matters into his own to pursue Vivie is electric. Chance is tall, dark, and handsome but also slightly arrogant, honest, mysterious, and charming. He's got a huge heart but doesn't like showing it to those not in his circle. Vivie hasn't always had the best of luck with boyfriends, so trusting Chance was not something she was completely comfortable with. But the pulled she had with him couldn't be contained. I loved tagging along with these two on the journey to their happily ever after.

Sloan always amazes me with her phenomenal storytelling and this is no different. The flames that these two ignite will cause a two alarm fire and leave the reader hot and sweating and in need of a very cold shower. Just like Chance's bike, this story is a two hundred mile per hour ride full of seduction, love, and heart.

OMG Sloan you've outdone yourself again this was brilliant and read it in about 5-6 hrs as I just couldn't put it down until I finished it. I loved all the emotion and apprehension there is from start to finish with all of them.
it's a wicked book all through with everything that was going there was not one slow moment throughout with All the different feelings she's had me going through starting with Chance Dix showing himself just as his brother Dyson Vix did when we first met him a bit of a dick and arrogant. Then the love struck sister's Vievie and Camille Carmichael for their long term partner Kevin and husband David. Well that was until they went to Spain to get an interview with Chance for Camille paper where things go drastically wrong for all 3 of them for different reasons. And the interview had to be postponed well that was the case until Chance see's Vievie on the flight back to the US and gets her to sit next to him for the interview she'll be doing for her sister the attraction between them is instant and he wants her to go to NY to follow him through his physio, where it becomes even more intense but things change again when Camille rings in an emotional frightened state and she's on her own in Indianapolis, where Vievie had to get back to her urgently. When she gets home and there things are changing but the strength she had to go through by herself until their parents get back. But things go from bad to worse and where she's meant to meet up with Chance again in Italy doesn't happen again through circumstance and oh wow the emotions go from scared to nervous to shock then extreme shock, finally to worry & sadness and the whole time we're there feeling oh Gawd what's going to gotten to the 3 of them will things work out and come together for any of them.
The ONLY negative part I saw was the beginning as it starts before they meet and had come back from Spain, so that did make me think I missed something out or I had started the book in the wrong place. But I will tell you as you keep reading and getting into the brilliant book that bit good onto the back burner or just waiting to see how it comes to their situation

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Vivie's sister Camille invites her on a trip to Spain. Camille is going there to interview Chance Vix. Chance is the top racer in MotoGP history. He is respected by men and wanted by women, but trying to interview him puts him in a different light. Cocky, full of himself, yeah that pretty much describes him. Camille gets disturbing news from home and leaves on the next flight out, leaving Vivie to interview Chance alone. Chance doesn't waste his time making his intentions towards Vivie clear. Due to unforseen circumstances, the interview is all but cancelled, and Vivie flies home to her boyfriend, Kevin. Things have been rocky between them and she wants to fix it. After arguing, Kevin leaves.
Will Chance get what he wants.......Vivie? Kevin isn't finished with her yet; he goes to see Vivie with intentions to hurt her. That quickly changes, he decides to ruin her.
Chance and Vivie have a lot of tragedy going on in their lives and now that they have found each other, they want to put the past behind and move forward. With a rival racer and an ex boyfriend hell-bent on revenge, it doesn't look possible.
Vivie and Chance were two great characters in this story filled with hope for love. Oh, there was plenty of sex too. HOT RACER FINALLY GETTING THE WOMAN HE CAN'T KEEP IS HANDS OFF, SEX ! This is BOOK THREE in the FASTLANE SERIES ! THIS IS A GREAT SERIES ! I LOVED THIS BOOK ! CHANCE is SEXY and CONFIDENT AS WELL AS COCKY and VIVIE is GORGEOUS and LOYAL. They are perfect together ! GET CAUGHT UP WITH BOOK ONE-SURGE AND BOOK TWO-THRUST ! SLOAN STORM'S RACERS ARE HOT ! ! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ! ! !

I received an ARC of Burn written by Sloan Storm for a honest review, so here goes. As always Sloan writes a great read. Burn is Vivie and Chance's story. Vivie meets Chance while on vacation in Spain with her sister Camille who is a reporter and gets the story of a lifetime. Camille gets to interview Chance Vix and she begs her sister Vivie to tag along. of course Vivie isn't sure and needs to run it by her boyfriend, he agrees and Vivie isn't sure what is wrong but she knows something is up but she goes to Spain. The first planned interview doesn't go as planned and Chance lives up to the arrogant reputation he is known for. Another time and place is set up. While in Spain Camille gets a call to come home (will leave it to you to find out while reading this fabulous book why she needs to go home, I don't like to give spoilers). Since she needs to leave Camille gets Vivie to agree to doing the interview of Chance. He agrees to the change and of course it wouldn't be a great book if he didn't change up the agreement to get what he wants. And of course he wants Vivie...and what he wants he gets. So Camille heads home to deal with her issue and Vivie stays in Spain to continue with the interview, but life gets in the way...So back to the states they go. Both Vivie and Camille go back with bad news and Chance goes for surgery. Things keep happening preventing the interview from happening. Camille ends up in the hospital and Vivie ends up in Jail and then Chance is hurt. To find out what happens I recommend you go and one click Burn! It is worth it. Thanks Sloan for the fantastic read and I look forward to so much more in the Fastlane series and I hope it is Camille's happy ever after. Happy Reading

OMG I will never be able to predict what this author will come up with next, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE her hard! Vivie is in a relationship that is toxic. When we sister talks her into going to Spain with her, Vivie meets sexy bad boy Chance Vix. She's there to support her sister while she tries to interview the racer, but Chance hates the media so he strings them along. Camille, her sister, has to go home suddenly and talks Vivie into staying to do the interview. Chance decides he wants the beautiful good girl, but she is still in the relationship. They still bond when he has an accident and has to go to New York for surgery and rehab at the same time she's on her way home. When she gets home, her long time boyfriend tells her she's fat, and he has another woman on the side. After that, Chance gives her another opportunity for an interview, so she flies to New York. As they decide to try to make a go of it, will Vivie's past mess it all up for good?

HOLY INTENSITY BATMAN! The story started out easy, and BAM! All hell broke loose, and I had a hard time catching my breath from then on. The character development is great, with secondaries that I hope get their own stories (Camille perhaps?)! A fast paced, hard to breathe, HIGHLY emotional storyline flows effortlessly. SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness will ruin panties, and the emotional feels are brutal at times. Twists and turns abound to keep my heart racing, with love and loyalty unwavering. The talented Sloan Storm has another hit on her hands so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Chance Vix, brother to Dyson Vix, a Formula One race car driver from book one, is “the most dominant racer in MotoGP history, tied for the all-time championship record with the Italian giant, Emilio Boncelli.” (Direct quote) He is reaching the end of his racing career and this might be the last chance he gets to beat that record.

Genevieve (Vivie) Carmichael is a freelance web designer and graphic artist. Her sister, Camille, asked her to go to Spain with her so Camille can do an interview with Chance Vix. Vivie agrees to go but after getting there, Camille has to go home to deal with her husband and asks Vivie to do the interview for her.

I don’t know about anyone else, but the beginning of the book was confusing to me. Ms. Storm starts the book with a scene where Vivie confronts Kenny after she gets back from Spain, which doesn’t happen until around page 60. Not sure why she started with that scene…..

I enjoyed the interactions between Chance and Vivie and they had great chemistry. The “drama” in the rest of the book was a little much; Camille and her Husband, Vivie and Kenny, a gun and an arrest. The crash that caused Chance to fracture his collarbone (again) and Maverick loosing the tips of his fingers was a good story about how dangerous bike racing can be, but being able to race with only a short time passing after having surgery and doing rehab?

Overall the book was okay and there is a HEA.

I am giving this book 3.5 stars. Vivie’s life is in shambles as her relationship with her boyfriend Kevin seems to be on the rocks. So when her sister asked her to go to Spain with her she took the opportunity thinking some time apart would be a good thing for their relationship. That is where she meets Chance, a professional motorcycle rider. Her sister Camille was supposed to interview Chance but circumstances back home forced her to return leaving Vivie behind to do the interview in her place. Even though Vivie finds Chance incredibly attractive she won’t act on those feelings knowing Kevin is waiting for her back home until things for her are starting to crumble just as badly as for Camille. Vivie packs her bags and heads back to the states to confront the situation head on and that is where things are going from bad to worse.

I liked the story line, loved the characters but I felt there was a lot missing. Chance seemed to have a past which was only briefly touched on. The legal issues with Vivian I felt were somewhat rushed and therefore seemed not as believable. But all in all I did enjoy this book.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this story of Chance and Vivie. At first the story started off slowly, but once it got going I couldn't put this book down. It has everything you could every want or need in an awesome love story: great characters, a hot motocross racer, and strong female lead character, love, passion, excitement all wrapped in one. I really liked the alternating points of view the author uses to tell the story, as we get both sides of the story. The only thing I wish there was more detail in certain parts of the story (such as the time the characters were in NYC, or during some of Chances races) as I would have liked to know more of what the characters were going through at those points of the story. I also would have liked to read more about Camille story as well and I hope the author will give her a happy ending in a future book. Over all I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. Her writing style is awesome. Definitely a must read for any lover of romance novels and motocross racers. Will not be disappointed in this book at all.

After the last book in this series, Thrust, I was somewhat skeptical if I was going to like this one. I thoroughly enjoyed Surge and wanted Burn to kind of follow it since it was about Dyson Vix's brother, Chance and his motorcycle racing. I was so in love with the fact that this one centered around the season of racing versus Thrust which was in the off season and just didn't seem to go with the series. I loved Vivie Carmichael's independent and strong willed character after getting out from under her controlling ex-boyfriend. The initial chemistry between Vivie and Chance was electric! I loved the fact that she finally went after what SHE wanted versus what was expected. My only downside to the story was the similarities between Vivie and Camille, her sister. How strange was it to take away the gun Camille had purchased so she wouldn't do something she would regret but that is what happened to Vivie. The end seems to drag with Vivie ending up in jail, Chase getting hurt, and then he was willing to let her go from his life without allowing her an explanation. There is much drama and angst in this book but overall, I really liked it!

***ARC received from author for honest review***

I love Sloan Storm. She is a great author and every series of hers that I have read I have not been disappointed. This book will keep you intrigued. There tragedy, trouble, danger, some steamy scenes, and of course love.

In this book Chance races million dollar motorcycles and is in the top spot to win the championship. Vivie is a graphic designed that is in a long term relationship but its been going sour for a while. What will happen when they meet? And what kind of mess does Vivie end up getting in that could get her in a lot of trouble.

The only reason that I didn't give this book 5 stars is because I would really like to have got more into Chance's POV and the connection between them but I still thought that this book was great and I would recommend this whole series to any friends.

When Vivi's sister invites her to go to Spain with her to interview one of the world's best motorcycle racers, Chance, she decides to tag along. Once they get there, her sister must return home due to a family emergency so she begs Vivi to do the interview for her. Vivi agrees and goes to meet with Chance, but due to his own emergency he has to cancel the interview. Chance and Vivi find themselves on the same flight to the U.S. During the flight they get to know each other a little.

Chance invites Vivi to come and interview him in New York. When he offers to pay her, Vivi decides to go to New York. They spend a week together when, surprise! Another family emergency sends Vivi racing back home.

Chance and Vivi stay in touch and try to make plans to see each other again, but due to more drama, it may or may not happen.

This is a good story, but I really wish we would have spent more time with the two of them in the same place at the same time.

I loved this book, it was brilliant and quite emotional too!!! It kept me reading and i couldn't put it down once i started...
Chance Is a MotoGP racer and he's gorgeous and sexy and top in his job, he can pick any woman he wants, when he wants... And he hates doing interviews!!!
Vivie has been asked by her sister Camille to attend an interview she is doing on Moto racer, Chance!!! She reluctently agrees to go with her sister... Unknown to her that her life is about to change forever!!!
There are some heart breaking twists in this book and i did get emotional whilst reading. In certain places i wanted to shake her and tell her to sort herself out, but eventually she gets her head together and it all works out... Or does it?
With a rocky start and mind blowing attraction, this is the wonderful story of how no matter what happens, when soul mates find each other... Nothing and no body can keep them apart!!! HEA?... Yes and it's beautiful how the story unfolds, i can't wait to find out what is next in the Fastlane series!!!

I received a free ARC for an honest review... This series by Sloan Storm is amazing! Follow the story of Vivie who is in a long time relationship with Kevin... She feels something is off but can't figure it out. She decides to go to Spain with her sister Camille. They meet motor cross driver Chance that agrees to be interviewed by Camille. Camille makes Vivie go with her. Chance hates interviews and Vivie is annoyed by him. The interview doesn't go well.. Chance gets called away and promises to do the interview after the race tomorrow. When Camille and Vivie get back to the hotel Camille gets a phone call and must go home. She begs Vivie to stay and do the interview ... Vivie agrees. Chance is very smitten with Vivie but Vivie wants to keep the interview professional. Vivie soon finds out that Kevin is having an affair and does not love her anymore! What will happen? Will Vivie give into Chance? There are a lot of twists and turns and you will be on the edge of your seat... Don't miss this series of standalone stories!!!

Fantastic story! A great plot, exciting, intriguing and totally gripping. I've been reading Sloan's books for a while now and I can only say her books just get better all the time. I love this book, it's exciting, intriguing it has a good dose of angst and its gripping. Chance is just perfect, sexy, cocky, good looking and used to getting what he wants, he lives life in the fast lane as a motorcycle race driver. Vievie is going through a hard time with her long term boyfriend, so when her sister Camille invites her to Spain to keep her company whilst she interview the incredibly good looking Chance, she jumps at the idea. I don't want to give too much away but Chance and Vievie relationship will totally captivate you. Vievie soon finds out that her life as she knows it will never be the same and Chance questions everything he thought his life should be. I can honestly say that this book will not disappoint you.

I really enjoyed this third book in Sloan Storm's racing series. Chance meets Vivie when she and her sister take a trip to interview him; the famous motorcycle racer in Europe.

"Stay, Vivie," he replied, staring into my eyes. You've got a calming effect. Much more so than these pain meds I've been taking."

Vivie and her sister both have relationship troubles, and Camille heads homes before the interview takes place leaving Vivie to handle collecting Chance's story.

"Maybe the universe has a way of balancing things out like that."

"Gone was my self-doubt and in its place, only a satisfaction of being taken-possessed, like a woman should be, deserves to be, and needs to be."

"Chance made love to me with no restraint, no boundaries, and no rules."

A great love story, with suspense and everything the author could throw at this couple to try to keep them apart. Vivie is one strong lady and Chance lived up to his name is this book; that was gifted by the author for an honest review.

Burn is one of those books that will take you to places that you never thought you would go. This book is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, highs and lows and will have you completely enthralled with everything that is happening. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading and loved Chance and Vivie's story.

Chance is a the top of his game in motorcycle racing. He is leading in points and seems to have everything under control but a freak accident threatens to take it all away.

Vivie is in a long term relationship until her boyfriend turns out to be a total butt. She takes a trip to Spain with her sister and meets Chance and things start to change for her. Just when life is starting to look up she ends up in more trouble than she has ever thought possible and just when the love of her life needs her most.

Sloan Storm knocked it out with this one. One click it and go on an adventure.

Magnificent, arrogant and impossible is how I would describe Chance Vix. And sexy! Don't forget sexy! I do wish the author would've let us know a little more about Chance, the man, and a little less about the identical drama going on with sisters, Vivie and Camille and the men in their lives. And Camille's husband David? What happened to him to make him "all the sudden" want to kill his wife? I loved the actual story line but there were too many loose strings and for some characters, not enough information. Some things happened too quickly and some things not quickly enough. This book has another fantastic cover! Even though this is my least favorite in this series, I still can't wait to see what's next for this author!

Vivvie is a good girl from Indiana she decide to go on a business trip to Spain with her sister where they are to interview a motorcycle racer.
Chance hate doing these interviews but when he sees Vivvie he might just change his mind about this interview just this once.
Vivvie and Chance spend a couple days together before they are needed back to their real worlds. This is when all hell breaks loose. Vivvie has one thing after the other happening to her. While Chance is fighting to win his races. When a huge tragedy strikes they have to fight to be with each other.
I wish the story focused more on Chance and Lizzie's relationship and not on everything else. There was too much background that caused me to lose focus on what the book was about.

I absolutely loved everything about Chance Vix. He’s this sexy, arrogant racer who hates the press, but makes an exception once he meets Vivie, who ends up taking her sister’s place for the interview. Instant sparks fly between these two, but Vivie holds off because of her relationship with Kevin.

I know I’m probably going against the norm here, even though I enjoyed most of this book, I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if both sisters weren’t going through the exact same thing, but in light of the story, I understand why they did. This book had the potential to be great, but for me it fell a little short. I found myself wanting less out of some scenes and more out of others. The chemistry between Chance and Vivie though, as well as the sex, was off the charts.
